I need to pick up Sketches of Spain still. Still play kind of blue over all these years. Great Sabbath pick. I need to pick up that Japan record it sounds wicked. Good audio tip on the Queen album!
I'm glad you and I share the same passion for "Abandoned Luncheonette". That album just boils with passion but because of "She's Gone", people ignored the rest of the album and the country/funk stomper "Everytime I Look At You" is one of the most shocking songs I've ever heard.
Sorry it took so long to find you. Instant subscription, mate !! The top 20 power pop list came up on my recommendations this morning and i loved it , lots of stuff to investigate but YES to jellyfish in particular. I shared it with my great friend in London who actually met Roger Manning Jr before a gig. We are both longtime jellyfish obsessives. Another fantastic power pop gem that i bought on import on release is Gregg Alexander Michigan Rain and after the meh of the new radicals he wrote hits for various people ....
Guess my most pulled albums have to be Rush - Signals Streets - 1st the AOR classic Tom Waits - Foreign Affairs King's X - Gretchen Goes To Nebraska Joy Division - Closer NIN - Broken It Bites - Once Around The World Ice Cube - Death Certificate Sparklehorse - It's A wonderful life Kansas - Power
One of my go-tos is the first Black Sabbath as well side one fantastic Love that Captain beyond record up in the corner One of my favorites. Love the police and Uriah Heep I did two similar videos lately My most listened and records I am obsessed with enjoyed the video Cheers
A pretty honest insight into not totally what I was expecting thanks for sharing, alot of these haven't been that great I'm a bit fed up of top tens now it's like we are trawling through some compiled VC with it's days being numbered 😅
I hope the VC's days aren't numbered. It can be tricky for people to find new ways to present their record collections, but I'd certainly miss the VC if it fizzled out.
That"s a very good 10+, I could live with those. BTW I checked out Tangerine from tour last video, I really liked it so I bought it, thanks for that one!
Good to see here Miles Davis and Supertramp. Great choices, dude. My list, one album per artist Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms Deep Purple - Made in Japan Camel - Snow goose Pink Floyd - Animals Neutral Milk Hotel - In the aeroplane over the sea The Chameleons - Script of the bridge Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes Supertramp - Paris Gang of Four - Entertainment! Sufjan Stevens - Illinois The Sound - From the lion´s mouth The Waterboys - The whole of the moon Television - Marquee Moon Keith Jarrett - Koln Concert
Mr. Shelf, all god calls, especially Supertramp, and that Santana record is one of my go to’s as well. I think it was the last time that lineup recorded together. Cheers.
My Goth friend’s favorite movie was Grease. Black Sabbath debut is my favorite and will be featured in my video tomorrow. I saw The Police in 79. They were great. I’ not a Queen fan but I love Another One Bites The Dust.
Cool list Stacker... except for the Greese...yuk... lol Here's a quick 10 from me in no order off the top of my head (most listened to, limit one per band/artist): Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway The Chameleons - Script of the Bridge Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden Catherine Wheel - Chrome The Tragically Hip - Fully Completely Peter Gabriel - Passion Dinosaur Jr - Where You Been Big Star - #1 Record/Radio City (a bit of a cheat but this 2 on 1 lived in my car for years) National Health - Complete (a cheat because its 2cd comp of their 3 albums, but I've probably listened to this the most out of anything)
That's a pretty diverse selection. Some great titles in there. I nearly picked a Genesis LP until I realised that there's about 5 of them that get equal listening time.
I'm here for the shirt. UFO's "Strangers In The Night" is my most listened to album.
I enjoyed this. I'll be pulling Santana III to listen soon. It's been too long since I've spun that one. Crime Of The Century is just so damn good.
Great choices! I like many of these… but the Miles Davis and Hall & Oates are the two I have listened to the most out of your picks.
I need to pick up Sketches of Spain still. Still play kind of blue over all these years. Great Sabbath pick. I need to pick up that Japan record it sounds wicked. Good audio tip on the Queen album!

Brant Bjork is a new one for me and I’m loving what I’m hearing. Great list!
That's great. He deserves to be better known!

Everyone always bangs on about Abraxas and the debut but passes over the Third Album. Mystifying, but it does mean it can still be had really cheap.
My Goth friend’s favorite movie was Grease. Black Sabbath debut is my favorite and will be featured in my video tomorrow. I saw The Police in 79. They were great. I’ not a Queen fan but I love Another One Bites The Dust.
It's a long road from 'You're The One That I Want' to the Sisters Of Mercy! I bet that '79 Police gig was pretty special. Were they headlining?
@@MrShelf-Stacker Police were headliners.
