hey man i love the bike, it is definitely something to be proud of. doing your own work on any bike just builds a connection with your bike that most of these newer bike owners who take them to shops will never understand.
Hey man I got a 95 Vulcan 1500 awhile back and my brother had pulled the carb out of it for me to clean and I’ve been trying to get it back in for awhile now but after I get it in I get lost when hooking the fuel lines up. My petcock on the gas tank has 3 line hook ups. two on the side and one on the back . one coming from the tank, one that feed to the fuel filter then pump, but the one in the back looks like it would be for a line going directly to the the carb but I don’t have another fuel line on my carb to hook to it. Can you let me know if you have a line running from your petcock to the carb? and if so let me know where that fuel line lands on the carb
johnpost91, the petcock valve has three ports. Two on the left side towards the front of the bike (port A top and port A bottom)and one out the back of the petcock valve (port B) pointing towards the back of the bike with a small 90 deg fitting. The gas tank has two ports that goes to the A ports of the petcock valve for the main and reserve supply. The tank port located furthest towards the front of the bike goes to the lower petcock A port. The second tank port located slightly towards the back of the bike from the front port goes to the upper A port on the petcock valve. The fuel filter inlet port goes to the B port of the petcock valve with the filter arrow point towards the fuel pump inlet port. The fuel pump outlet port goes to the carburetor inlet V shaped fitting and jumpers over to the other carb. See video 6 min 50 sec to get a good view. This is the only supply to the carb. If yours is different then it may have the California emissions stuff I see when I look in the service manual. I hope this helps!!! Good luck and thanks for watching and commenting.

Couldn't agree more!
As a brand new bike owner if this video doesn’t help me it’s going to a fucking shop
At 4:16 you have the air line 3 way in your hand. Two go to carbs. Where does the 3rd main line go to?😊
