I love the strength of your conviction that if someone isn't for your husband and your marriage, they aren't for you! Thank you for that timely reminder that people (+ for me it's more family than friends) that don't respect your man + your marriage need to be kept at arms length through firm boundaries. ❤
Great message Katelyn, I recently ended a 10 year friendship with a non- Christian friend. It was very painful but I feel convinced that I made the correct decision
That couldn't be easy! I'm so sorry you had to do that, Caroline. I do know from experience that it's what needs to be done in some circumstances but never easy.
Here is a like for what a "Cake with Kate" video is. It's just a name for my lay back videos. ua-cam.com/video/HTTcPEkfqIU/v-deo.htmlsi=Ehw0zn-Ksy_DJIyi
Do you ever score and blanch your potatoes to aid in peeling? I find using a potato peeler so incredibly time-consuming and irritating. My wife somehow doesn't mind it when she cooks and her patience never ceases to amaze me, but I always want to optimize every little process I can so I use the blanching method. Sometimes I can remove the potato peel in one single sweep as one complete whole -- like an optimally-peeled boiled egg shell that comes apart in one piece -- and become all proud of myself! 💃🙌🙌 It's one of my little joys in life when things work out so well. I think many of my guy friends would have been quite toxic to my marriage in previous years had I let them influence my thoughts, as I was the first in my friend group among those of our age to get married. They all expressed the stereotypical bachelor concerns: "Bro, what are you doing? You're going to spend the rest of your life with one woman? You're crazy! Think about what you're proposing!" In particular, my closest friend who I selected as my best man was particularly against our marriage, yet he begrudgingly attended and gave his support. I just ignored them for the most part. Yet most of them also finally married over the years except that one best friend. He just seems wired like a lifelong bachelor type and never-ending party animal. He's generally too much of a handful for me these days, but now lives in Hiroshima (I live in Kyushu), and we limit our time spent with each other to visits a couple times a year. That's about all the energy I have for his wild lifestyle.

Thank you so much for sharing!! And no I haven't tried to do my potatoes that way, I actually enjoy the process of peeling them surprisingly 😊
