The Bible has the instructions for success. For wives, let me summarize them for you. 1. Ephesians 5:22-24 - Submit to your husband the same way you would submit to Jesus if He were living in the house with you.... in EVERYTHING. 2. Ephesians 5:33b - Reverence your husband. Show him the utmost respect mingled with fear. 3. 1 Peter 3:1-2 - Use your actions (submission, goodness and reverence) , NOT YOUR WORDS, to effect change in your husband.

Thank you so much. I requested this topic and your advice is so helpful. My favourite points were to keep your answers short and simple, not to overexplain (I did this a lot with my family with respect to my marriage and it not only came across as a lack of confidence and conviction in our decisions but also gave them a way in to undermine me and my husband), to say 'ok' (I love this ❤ and will definately start using this technique) and knowing that it's not my responsibility to change people's hearts and minds (only God can do this for sure). My example is family asking me why I don't know the ins and outs of all our finances (my husband takes care of this for us) - they were in disbelief that I wouldn't want or need to know. I've learnt to say - "I trust my husband to take care of our family" Thank you again got taking the time to respond to my suggestion - I really appreciate it.
