On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Trying a little bit of a different concept in this video, hope you guys enjoyed thank you for watching....what do you think would be the international fallout from an incident like this? let me know in the comment section. Thanks for watching, Much Love.
Day 91 asking for F35C vs F/A-18 Super Hornet
Man...srl this missile you deserve it...and i am ask to myself what will be your explain to the usa hight command for this...clusterfuck?
Push him with the Raptor and see if you can turn the tables and shoot both aircraft down.
Same scenario but do it in an f22 raptor.
What were the ROEs? Why didn’t you try to go offensive after the first missile?
1 flare - 1st warning
2 flares - 2nd warning
3 flares - 3rd warning
Radar lock - last warning
2nd radar lock - Congratulations; you have started WW3
😂
A great achievement to unlock. Can't deny that
Yep, GS started it. Mercuh! F yeah!
😂
Dcs must mast have this achivement
I guess Flares are: 1 Flare - 1st warning, 2 flares - second warning, 3 flares - last warning
Ah yes that actually makes a lot of sense lol wish u were there when this was all going down lol.
So Russian also know three strikes rule.
Same as with police officers, Step One : Ask for them to comply. Step Two : Tell them to comply. Step Three : Make them comply. If the force pyramid is in your favor and not theirs, you will most likely end up taking the "pavement temperature challenge." Like anyone that goes up against Growling Sidewinder! 😎
@@debbiestimac5175 STEP ONE: "come out with your hands behind your back inside of your pockets and walk back to front with your head on the floor"
STEP TWO: [shoots dog] "comply or we will shoot your most loved ones first in order of most cruel to least cruel ethically"
STEP THREE: paid leave
Read comments here as video was starting up…
I just go to the “oh is he trying to communicate?”
And the foreshadowing is thicc 😅
80-100 years from now.
Kid : Grandpa, How WW3 started?
Grandpa : Well... Some idiot in F-15 tried harassing a Russian's transport.
To be fair information war would mean that nobody outside of the very few people intheknow would truly have access to what had happened there.
If would turn into a 'he said she said' scenario like it always fucking does.
@@peekaboo1575 he was live-streaming the endeavor😂
@J H maybe we will have first contact with Valcans?
Russia’s S-400 and other SAM systems wouldn’t allow a single bomber Into Russia, so yeah, good luck with that.
@Null NATO nor russia will exist
"That seems like a friendly flanker" Well that aged like milk
😅
🤣🤣🤣
Like sushi in Death Valley.
lmfao
Please start a series out of this! It would be cool if a flight of USAF aircraft went out to intercept and retaliate against the flanker or something
Would definitely be different and interesting, would be interested to see where it goes
it would be super cool.
That would be awesome if GS started an organic 'campaign' of sorts. This starts the crisis. The USAF scrambles 2-4 more F15s, Russian and/or Syria scamble reinforcements for the lone SU. Maybe even have a couple of players hop in as Israeli aircraft shadowing the action. Let it play out naturally based on what the players do. For example if the Russian players misidentify and fire on the Israelis shit hits the fan even more. Could thrown in some strike missions as retaliation, etc. Doesn't have to be crazy long expanding into WW3, but have small scenarios like this. Another involving the Senkakus with Chinese and Japanese aircraft, India v Pakistan, Iran v Saudi etc. This has a lot of potential if GS is interested and can get a dozen or so players together. Hell he could even invite fans that are of 'questionable' skill to fly Syrian and North Korean aircraft for example to pad the aircraft numbers lol
I liked the idea, Im not a fan of series but i would totally spend 10 min watching this daily!
Not until he does a "2 morons" do a para-rescue of the pilot
That Flanker pilot had the patience of an angel and gave plenty of warning signs to f... off. Seeing GS not complying gave him no other choice than shooting him down.
In peace time it would never be justified lmao. Even the radar lock could be too much
@@nasseralkhelaifi1853that's true but real life footage of this very common encounters are very interesting to watch. There's this footage of an F-16 checking out a Russian transport plane. Su-27 Flaker pushed it off like the it did here but the F-16 keep following the formation from a little distance like it was trolling the Russians.
@@nasseralkhelaifi1853it is justified when he kept on harassing them and doing manoeuvres in front of them despite several warnings. I tell you what upon the third flare if that F-15 didn’t move then some FOX 2s would have been sent his way
So this was one of those "unofficial" F-15 losses we never hear about.
😂😂😂
I love the concept of having a sensitive mission like this where you have an objective but don’t want to set off WW3. I’d love to see this from the defender’s POV. Where you try to chase off a NATO or Russian aggressor from some kind of transport plane. Maybe the enemy is already at your friendly plane and is harassing it and you have to intercept then chase the fighter off. Keep up the great content as usual
Great idea
Love to see that
Like that
@@SuperIv7 that was bvr iirc
Really liking these videos with more complex situations than the standard BVR or merge, they really help break up the repetitiveness of modern combat
Congratulations. Piloted the first f15 shot down in aerial combat. Also provided the cause for ww3.... all for a transport plane full of 20 year old Russian MRE's.
i think you mean 60 year old rusted AKs
@@szymonchlebicki4606 100 year old Mosins from a Siberian cave
Czarist muzzle loaders, and a pair of panties worn by Anastasia.
These aren't just any Russian MRE's these have salted pork and vodka.
@@joeclaridy and... potato🥔.
That poor flanker has the patience of a saint XD
I would have gunned the hell out of the eagle a long time ago
Good thing im not there
For real. That nose grazing by GS on the transport plane is a total no-no. The transport pilot must have gotten angry and must have told the Flanker to shoot the F-15 down.
I think the thing that really got you shot down what the seconds you spend trying to figure out "are we still playing or are we fighting."
Oh yes, the second most famous last words. The first are" "let me show you how it's done"
I remember a mission, either in LOMAC or the original Flaming Cliffs, where you flew an Israeli F-15C intercepting some transport carrying a POI and had to force it to land. There was some random chance that it would either comply or not and if not you'd have to shoot it down and deal with any interceptors sent after you. One of my favorite missions to replay as a newbie 'cause it had everything, following waypoints, formation flying, combat (if things went south) and AWACS intercepts.
Wish we had that in DCS nowadays
It would be awesome if this was the first chapter in a story timeline of escalation between GS nation and the enemy
I agree
Or the second.
I loved that! It reminded me of trying to communicate with sea creatures underwater. You see them, they see you...and then they fire missiles after a while as well.
Were you messing with the submarines?
When you pulled in front there, that's considered an "unsafe intercept tactic" called headbutting... Look up "Russian fighter headbutts B52" to see what it looks like from the intercepted aircrafts view... Scary stuff. Great video GS!
Seems like the first missile was also a warning if it was launched too close to go active.
Yep. That's what I thought!
That's what I thought too
It was tracking, just inside the min-range. Once somebody launches a missile with a live warhead, we're not friends anymore. 😂
@@TurboHappyCar I'd wager GS pulling that "headbutt" on the transport was the end of being friends lol ignored all the warnings and forced the Flanker's hand
I mean, he kept firing after the first missile, so i don't think it was a last warning.
Man I’ve really been liking the BVR and these scenario type videos. Great stuff!
Honestly kudos to the Sukhoi for holding off shooting you as long as he did. Do love the re-enactment of the B-52 intercept turn you pulled on the IL-78
Dammit GS...I was hoping when you pulled up along side the IL that you would 'barrel roll' over it...THAT would have been COOL...
I appreciate the lesson in starting global conflicts. I will definitely use this in the future
Please continue this "Story"!!
I was sitting in the edge of my chair the whole time!
Crossing the nose of that transpor = attacking the transport. That was beyond just getting him away from his destination xD
I've always wondered how a plane actually gets"forced to land". I guess its gonna be a call the bluff situation like this. Loved this.
You were being like that annoying bee hanging around the picnic table when you are trying to eat.... eventually it gets swatted.
Growling Sidewinder finally ruins the F15’s record for no losses. Kudos
Love these new "what if" scenarios! Please do more 👌🏼
Normally videos don’t excite me too much, but creating a pucker factor like this has to be a little more fun for you too! You two went into a scissor and a he fired at you I was like OH SHIT and was on the edge of my seat hoping you’d splash both.
Breaking news! A Russian Sukoi 27 shot down an American F-15. According to the Russian ministry of Defense, the American jet was threatening the safety of the transport aircraft. The White House, on the other hand, says the F-15 had no intention to shoot down the Russian transport. Could this be the start to the 3rd world war?
My dad has a picture taken from an EP-3E of a Russian MiG-23 within about 100m off the wing around '74.
it looked like the flanker and the eagle were both escorting the transport because the flanker didnt try to push the eagle off or anything, well until gs got aggressive
Most casual “he just fired a missile at me” you’ve ever heard
I feel like this would make a great scenario in a larger campaign. You know, a series of escalating mission that start out as flying patrols, doing intercepts like this, doing the transport escort yourself, and eventually it goes hot.
thanks for the steps gs! ill make sure to follow so i can make my own international incident
Would love a series of that kind of senarios they seem very interesting
I love these situational videos. The dogfights are usually great but this stuff is amazing
You can't just leave me with a ending for a story that just started XD
Please continue this as a series. That was pretty awesome to watch. I like the idea of not WW3 but some retaliation!!!
I think that the Flanker gave you plenty of warning - you got so close to the transport that you could have easily had an air to air collision with it. Even after getting on your six and locking you, which was an " You have guns and missiles pointed at your head asshole - time to leave, or else!", you kept coming back. I think that the Russian fighter pilot in this Flanker was pretty restrained, disciplined and patient with you - in the words of someone earlier in the thread " showed the patience of a saint"! . A flight like this the Ilyushin transport might have only had supplies, but to warrant a fighter escort, was more likely carrying diplomatic passengers. In which case, messing with a transport with Sergey Lavarov, the Russian cabinet minister for foreign affairs on board, could easily trigger a military response. Your demise in this simulation, was the fittingly darwinian result of a learning impediment being weeded out of the herd....! 🤣🤣🤣
Yep, the Flanker was very patient, gave 3 warnings with flares, pushed GS away when he got close, gave him the radar warning to get the hell out and only engaged when he came back and pushed in front of the transport (which is an unsafe intercept, more than just harassing them and reaching into becoming a threat). GS ignored him enough that he basically HAD to treat him as a threat that had to be removed and went for it.
Best case her is a lot of very unhappy calls from Russia to NATO, a lot of apologizing from NATO and the whole thing kept quiet since GS was clearly the agressor and forced the Flanker's hand. Worst case is probably not worth imagining lol
I have no idea why but watching 2 airplanes with the ability to start another world war be assholes to one another is the funniest shit I've ever seen.
I just love the name of this video “How To Cause An International Incident” but please do more like this awesome content!
This is me formally requesting that next time you eject, you call it riding the Yeet Seat.
That's a fun change of pace. Like to see more of these.
There goes the F-15's perfect kill-loss ratio XD
Jokes aside im glad to be able to watch DCS content, i got a big backlog ahead of me 😁🤙
Please do more of these types of videos with tricky scenarios. So fun to watch.
Vouch
It was almost like the first few he let loose weren't locked. This was very interesting. please do more covering this scenario.
The mistake here was assuming that the Flanker pilot is sane and unwilling to start a war.
Gs: laughing at flanker for flaring
Flanker: and i took that personally
GS, when a fighter starts popping flares at you, you know a line has been drawn. When you are locked, you will be grounded. lol Great video! Next time, take out the escort and then play with the mouse. lol
''let me just push him around a bit, haha look he's locking on what a funny guy, WOAH HE JUST SHOT A MISSILE WHATS THIS DUDES PROBLEM''
That format is so freaking cool. Keep it up please!
4:52 angry flanker noises
In round 2.
LOCK UP THE TRANSPORT AND IF GE FIRES ON YOU. FIRE A MISSILE AT THE TRANSPORT.
BETTER YET, LEAD HIS MISSILE ONTO THE TRANSPORT!!
Indeed
The way the flanker tried to warn you off was similar to how my wife warns me off when I'm pissing her off. Equally as effective.
And with the same consequences if the warning is ignored. ;-)
9th attempt ;] Dassault Rafale against F-14b Tomcat Fox-2 fight (:
something REALLY important must have been on that plane
The F-15 has always been my favorite, even before I knew what it could do I thought it was the coolest looking plane around.
This was super fun to watch! I love the guys idea about making this a recurring thing/ series
The fact that you dodged any of those missiles let alone 3 is ridiculous flying.
When you annoy your siblings to much that they start beating you 😂
you should definitely make this kind of videos again. it was really nice to watch
Old proverb, Chinese I think: If you grab a tiger by the tail, you should have a plan to deal with it's teeth.
I would love to see more videos like this one. That was really funny to watch.
There should be international flare signal for IT'S A PRANK IT'S A PRANK IT'S JUST A PRANK BRO CHILL BRO! You're on camera, look
lol I guess in reality nobody would be that persistent hahah thumbs up
My first thought was to fly through the trajectory of the transport at very close range and make it fly into jetwash (its a refference)
Like what meteors did to V1 rockets?
Loved it. Episode idea: take out the escort and force the transport to land or its just a transport and you fire some shots at it to let it know you are not kidding and then it needs to land.
a training accident happend when a f15 flew into a weather balloon...... the aircraft was lost and the pilot ejected safely...
lold
I like the scenario and goofing around videos haha. And there is something naturally fun about watching someone try to irritate their opponent.
0:32 - "My name is Growling Sidewinder, and this is Jackass!"
Us and Russians pilots are doing this to each other for years ....The sexual tension between these two is unbelievable :) :)
This is a great video idea. Would love to see more
Deadliest game of “I’m not touching you!”
This video was foreshadowing.
When doing a little trolling leads to the first ever confirmed air-to-air loss of an F-15.
This video was super fucking interesting. I always loved those stories of people intercepting people and causing a near crisis
GS seems to be enjoying “a little INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT “ 😂
When the mission is "get near the cargo transport and act like a younger sibling until someone snaps"
01:42 - "Give me a flare, Vasily. One flare only, please."
The crew in the USS Carl Vinson lost the radar signal of the F-15. The news that a flanker has shot down a John’s F-15 quickly reaches his brother Peter, that coincidentally is also a pilot.
After listening to the news, Peter promise that he will revenge his brother and destroy the Ivan, the Flanker pilot.
Okay now is your turn Growling Sidewinder, what will happen to Peter? Will he get his revenge? 😂😂😂
i like the F15, but the flanker is a so nice looking airplane ^^
Aye, it's a looker alright.
I feel like I'm watching a bird defend its wife from another bird harassing it
this is why you always have a wingman
Well that was an interesting one. What would have been hilarious is if you had an F 22 trailing you both and lock him up the second he locked you. lol
You should totally do a giant close range dogfight with a lot of people and only fight when you're like 10 miles away
He counted to 3 with those flares
C'mon bro, you ruined the F-15s perfect K/D.
All jokes aside, great vid!
I personally love these kind of videos! I like playing scenarios like this so keep these up if you can!
Day 5 of asking for Split throttle F-14b vs. VIFFing Harrier
Low key was waiting for GS to just say screw it and shoot down the transport and then engage the Flanker.
No need for ejection. You’ve lost only ONE wing! ;D
All along, along
There were incidents and accidents, there were hints and allegations
If you'll be my bodyguard, I can be your long lost pal...
Also that Battlefield Theme XD
Great video. Wonder the outcome if you had a wing. The Flanker would have had to change tactics.
A series with different scenarios would make for great content.
I love it when you fly the F15!! If I was in a flanker and an F15 pulled up next to me, I'd be shitting my pants! I think the only thing scarier for the flanker would be if an F22 pulled up beside it. You should do that again in an F22, just because.
Deffo not flanker is the king of dogfight and eagle isnt beating it
Rules Of Engagement are your guide here. Typically if they shoot at you, you can shoot back. From the intercept of Russian warplanes of NATO aircraft. The Russians seem to be extremely agressive, to the point that mid air collisions are possible. IMO the Russian aircraft messed up, unless he got permission to shoot, and even then that was a huge escalation.
you only missed one wing! in an f-15.....you clearly could have made it back to base XD
Really like this video! I agree with others that it would be great to see more of this type of engagement!
Your channel is truly amazing 🔥🔥🔥
@@Bolter024 haha your gonna say deez nuts I know it 😂😆
He just started WWIII ! ... I may have helped...but giving them the credit.
