i love how you added dave grohl and he is always forgotten as a guitarist:)
Just what I was gonna say
I’m not a big Foo fighters fan, but Everlong is one of the greatest songs ever, I also love Hey Johnny Park and Dear Rosemary, incredible songs and incredible band
Not only that, but people forget that he's Satan!
The first thing I thought too
As a guitarists yes, but not as an artists.
that picture of John Lennon will never get old
Unlike John Lennon
@@nathanstein589 hilarious
@@nathanstein589
***like*** John Lennon
That's EXACTLY what I was thinking!
What song is that by John Lennon
Something about all settings aren’t the same because all amps are different or something but I’m too lazy to explain
Bruh I don't know what you are talking about
@@grammerpolicedeputy6913 the different amp and cab make the tone different. The settings are suprisingly little to do with the tone
@@grammerpolicedeputy6913 The amp setting are totally unique in terms of how they sound from amp to amp. like bass at 5, mids at 5, and treble at 7 will sound completely different to a different amp with the exact same settings. The video is kinda useless because the sound he's getting from his amp using the artist's settings sounds nothing like the artists playing through their gear
@@grammerpolicedeputy6913 amplifiers use different preamps, can be tube or solid state, analog or digital, have different wattage, and speakers with different sizes. All those thing affect tone different. A British amp like a Marshall or Vox isn't going to sound like an American amp like a Fender. A Marshall has more mids by default. A Fender sounds more clean and brught by default. The EQ knobs work different
@@grammerpolicedeputy6913 The punctuation police would like to have a word with you.
me watching this fully aware i don't know the first thing about guitar:
you know w your ears!
You should get into guitars. It is way easier than it looks
Hey, i started watching guitartube before i started playing, maybe this is your calling.
he put tim, then played scott's part, nice.
I thought more people were gonna point this out lol
Dude I love these amp settings shorts you've been making please do more
Underrated guitar UA-camr.
I like your vids so much I even rewatch them….apparently. Great job man.
I love how you played Harrison’s part for Lennons tone and then Scott’s part for Tim’s tone. Also the fact you switch guitars and pretend as if the amp settings had the largest effect on tone.
Amp settings are HUGE to tone, but you’re still right about switching guitars. And that doesn’t even mention the fact that buddy made it 10x more useless by playing different licks/riffs in different styles on each setting, further ruining the ability to accurately compare.
My man the guitars had fuck all effect. He used two single coil guitars. The amp had the biggest effect on the tone.
@@vexedpixels you're telling me you can get a strat or jaguar to sound like a bridge pickup on a tele? Also, I got no clue where he even got these settings from, especially considering these guys all played different amps whose tone stacks behave differently. Like, on a vox like the Beatles used, turning up the eq actually CUTS the frequency. So setting something on, say, 7 is actually like setting it on 3 on a fender orsl marshall
i have an idea, you should post a sarcastic comment on a kids video who you know is more talented than you at his age than you ever will be just to assert the fact that you know stuff about gear. get a better hobby
“Tim Henson”
*plays Scott Lepage’s riff*
Unless Tim wrote that part but I’m pretty sure Scott plays it in the studio version.
Nah that is a scott part
scotty part yea
Dave from nirvana did every instrument in the first foofighters album in just one day which also makes him a multi instrumentalist!
I have never seen don't let you down played like that, that was awesome
im glad tim was on here- saucy riff was on spot
That everlong tone was perfect
Full cover of everlong please🙌
Aa a huge beatle fan, it still took me a bit to figure out what you were playing. It was "Don't Let Me Down" from the "Let It Be" album
This guy is going far
Finaly i found a video where you arent talking about hendrix or kurt
Different pickups from different years, different gauge strings, different amp and cab configurations from different brands with different speakers in them. There are so many variables it baffles me that videos this vague garner this many views. The treble, mid and bass knobs can be set the same but the differences listed above (I'm probably missing a few) make it all moot
Hope more people see your post. Its insane how much bullshit this dude spills out with this shit
I had to scroll quite a bit to finally see someone point this out. This trend of "famous amp settings" is so detrimental to beginners who are learning about how gear works and the people who make these videos should be ashamed.
Love the reverse headstock when you did the Henson one!
I loved the Beatles sound the most
God Bless, Much Love
That strat body with tele setup was the coolest thing I've seen in a loong time! Did you build that yourself or is it a Squier Paranormal?
When you scroll thru youtube shorts ans find a ahort someone just uploaded 😎😎😎
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
I love all of these guitarists
Part 4 please + Noel Gallagher amp setting
That saucy riff tho🔥🔥
All of them were pretty nice.
You should do Marty Friedman!
Where's Brian May? That iconic scream is instantly recognizable.
That picture you showed of Jimmy with the double neck, I was at that concert. It was Jimmy, Eric, and Jeff Beck with a whole bunch of other rockers. 1983 MSG Ronnie Lane benefit for MD
Finally a video where he doesn't bring up Jimmy Hendrix
Can you do a part 4 pls
Somehow him doing this makes all of them sound like Hendrix and/or Frusciante
Your a natural kid 🤟🏼🤟🏼
Dude what was that song you played for john lennon. I love the sound of it
Cool dude
Like bass treb and mid settings even matter… it’s about guitar/pickups/amp/pedals’ types and settings.
Just me or does bro look straight out of subway surfuers
Can you do buckethead in your next tone settings?🙏❤
You should do Stu Mackenzie's from King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard next!
On the Next video about the settings can you put my favourite guitarist? Brian May
I use an orange amp with a bass cab, I use a tele and my amp settings are
Treble: 10
Bass: 6
Mid: 2
Make of Josh Klinghoffer please
plays a Scottie Lepage solo for tims settings
Bro FRRRR guy prolly learned it from Scotties short upload too. That guy got a really shitty deal man cause he's been writing all the hits since the start
Johnny Greenwood deserves a spot fo sure
Nice Videos. Cool and informativ 😀 can you do Steve Lukather in a nother Video? Would be very nice
can you make jerry cantrell from alice in chains?
next do D. Boon -
Bass - 0
Mids - 0
Treble - 10
OOOH, DO JIM ROOT NEXT PLS
Do the Smashing Pumpkins!
what the hell happened to that telecaster
you should put kirk hammett in one of these
Your a great axe man wow
Calling Dave Grohl a Drummer is the same as calling McCartney a bassist🤣
i mean he did a great job in Nirvana
Can you please do Kith Richard's
What was the song for John Lennon pls
what is that double cut tele thing? i really like it
Whats the 2nd guitar brand?????
Tele strat isn’t real it can’t hurt you. THIS VIDEO:
What kinda guitar is that strat/tele hybrid he's playing in the Jimmy Page section?
That StratTele made me double take xD
You should do ace frehley or Paul Stanley☺️
I actually really like the sound of the Grohl one.
If I'm not mistaken, you also need a shit ton of compression for Tim Henson's sound
Doesn’t henson play Ibanez tho?
Like isn’t most of his stuff humbucker or acoustic instead of single coil?
Do Brian May!
Except for the Curly Hair of a Good Sheep you are Levi as Lévi-Strauss
Since you did Tim Henson now you HAVE to do Ichika Nito
Can you play the same song but eith the diffrent setting so we can realy hear the diffrences
do albini :)
You’ve got to put Kurt cobain in one of these
May you try Brian May’s settings?
Can you do billie joe Armstrong from green day pls
Gotta do Billie joe Armstrong from greenday
Without the right amp the settings don't matter. Turn the bass up on a fender and it bottoms out. On a marshall its fine. A fender doest break up like an ac 30 or a Marshall....not sure what the point is ...
Nice
94 speed early November seems a bit much
John didnt play the riff on Don't Let Me Down... maybe try doing All My Loving, with its constant triplets?? or I'm Happy Just To Dance With You?? Don't Let Me Down just isnt as impressive
Me : bass 4, mid 7+, treble 4.5
The real question is whether you can even play the guitar without that signature grin on your face
john Lennon photo pose lookin goofy LMAO
I just realized MY AMP DOESNT HAVE A MID KNOB IT ONLY HAS BASS TREBLE AND VOLUME
Gotta get them down strokes in my boy
which was the Beatles song?
Are you running the exact same setup except for amp settings ?
what is the first song ?
you should do johnny marr next
Steve lukather pls
Try adam jones amp settings
Patiently waiting for Rory Gallagher
Day 1 of asking for Brian may’s amp settings
Do angus young
Not even taking into account the guitar or amp they used
All of does sounds come from the Deluxe Reverb?
What about Randy Rhoads Tony Iommi and Zakk Wylde
sick jag
How bout some 80s rock?????
What about Daimbek Darrel?
