The shot glass thing is a valid hack but they don't quite get it right. You heat the shot glass gently then put over the splinter. It creates a vacuum that pulls the splinter out.

The funniest five minute craft I have ever seen was where they collected a bunch of Barbie dolls and screwed hooks in the top of their heads, they then made the Barbies do the splits!, yes, they FORCED those legs and then used them as coat hangers!...I laughed til I cried, can you imagine seeing that in your wardrobe every morning??

@@V.U.4six It is a brand, but it’s also generally become the term for that specific type of knife (a small, thin, precise knife - hence the term exact-o). A box cutter, though, is relatively different. It’s more rectangular, and made for heavier duty tasks like opening boxes (obviously) and cutting through thicker things. Exact-o is pretty much thinner and more precise than a box cutter.

Fun fact: That mouse was powered off the whole time. If you pay attention to the small details, when they turn over the mouse it is not turned on. Once they fricked with the batteries they turned it on. I smell 5 minute crafts being crap…. Again

I mean, those batteries are usually wired in series, so one battery would mean only half the voltage... try running anything on half the voltage it's supposed to.

I lost it with the flip flops. You can spend frickin two dollars and good yoga mats cost a lot of money!! I was so blown away I almost wrote this in all caps lol, but I remember the time I bought myself a yoga mat was the first time I ever spent over 100 dollars in one pop. And that mat is what pushed it over.
The battery thing is pretty sketchy. You're cutting the voltage in half, so if the device turns on at all it's going to act spotty: reduced speed, range, brightness, range, power, etc and it's going to be reduced by a lot more than half. Maybe a select few very low power devices (a computer mouse isn't a terrible candidate) might behave normally with reduced life, but they'd have to have been designed with a pretty huge voltage range in mind.
The reduced voltage might work for some time actually (you don't have the full voltage over the life of your batteries, but - you will not be able to put the battery this way in a double battery shaped mold.
I also believe it should work because most device have you alternate the batteries and put a battery in like that you would connect negative to negative and positive to negative

Wearing flip flops to the bathroom is more of a communal thing to prevent things such as athlete’s foot.
It may seem a bit silly but but using egg whites to fix a punctured football/ soccer ball actually works as when the whites dry it becomes tough and almost like enamel making it surprisingly affective as a sealant
there's gotta be something non-food based though that works at least just as well

I love how the only (non-food related) one of these that is actually good is the one where you literally have to reverse time to before the vase breaks. Or I guess you could say, “better luck next time. You should’ve put sand in it.” P.S. am disappointed that the Pringles can one wasn’t to have easier access to Pringles. 🤪I am also annoyed that chip bags have so much empty space so I usually cut them down especially if they are almost empty. I’m with Kris on this one. The only two we could actually do have to do with chips.
I thought the air was bad at first but now i know that its for protecting the chips and they fill it till the brim but cause some of them break thats why you thing there is alot of air
The air space isn't air at all and isn't there to try to fool the consumer. The bag is pumped full of nitrogen gas, which is inert and inhibits the micro organisms that create food spoilage, so your tostitos don't start to get stale until after you open them, much less start to go bad. The extra space in the the bag is so your chips don't get broken in shipping.

My high school geometry teacher actually had a really great fix for broken flip flops (at least got me home a few times). You put the thing through the bottom of the flip flop and take a paper clip and puncture the plastic part with the paper clip. The paper clip stays flat, but you wind the plastic part through to the middle curve so it doesn’t fall off. You’ll click clack in them, but they’ll stay on your feet.
He called the broken flip flops “a flat tire,” which is still my favorite term for when that happens.
For the flip flops in the shower, I used to do that in communal bathroom situations (i.e. college, summer camp). It's not something I would typically do in my home as an adult though, lol

What the actual heck.. I’m scared. IM ACTUALLY ON THE TOILET IM SCREAMING AND LAUGHING SO HARD
In my old college days, I lived in a dorm with a communal bathroom. Trust me, you ALWAYS wore flip flops to the bathroom, ESPECIALLY the morning after everyone had been drinking. You never knew what you would find in there....
So, we actually use a variation of the Coke bottle pulley system for our bedroom door! It's actually because the cats like to come and go, we can't lock them in or out or they scratch the door all night, but keeping the door at least mostly closed keeps the heat in our room in the winter! We use a heavy ornament instead of soda. Love your videos!
You can install a cat door on your bedroom's door if you wish!

The only time I have ever worn flip flops into a bathroom, was while I was in the Navy. Onboard ship, we have what are called berthings. Basically a tight living quarters for anywhere from 4-30 people (male and female). They share one bathroom, or head as we call them. So that includes the showers. To keep from getting any kind of foot fungal diseases, we are trained from boot camp to always wear some kind of foot wear whilst on ship. Flip flops are easiest to use because they slip right on and off, so showering and washing your feet is a breeze. Not a fun experience though and from that experience, learned a lot about people I didn't want to know. Mainly how gross humans are. But yeah, flip flops in public bathrooms/common areas of the like, totally makes sense, if you do it in your home, You're probably a psychopath (Just a joke). Love your videos, and tiktoks also!
Yup I agree, I used to wear flip flops everywhere in the gym changing rooms, outside the pool and in the showers and sauna too- you never know what kind of foot fungal diseases you could pick up from communal spaces like these and it makes me feel way more cleaner and hygienic that walking barefoot everywhere. Though I would wear them in my own home only during winter or something since I hate walking on the cold tiles after showering but maybe that's just me🤷♀
Air Force had us do the same thing! Found some nasty stuff in the deployment bathrooms sometimes. The first time using my personal bathroom once I got home felt like heaven, took such a long shower followed by a bath. From one former service member to another weather still in or not, thank you for your service!
