I’ve never seen your make up videos not go perfectly. I’m actually really glad you showed the “reality” of new products not working so well. Of course you ended up looking flawless. Enjoy your daughters visit, that’s what is really important!
I was looking to see if anyone else was saying this. I totally agree with your comment, I like the “real” video. I honestly wouldn’t purchase the eyeshadow pallet, nothing special at all. I’ve pretty much have gotten over all the makeup videos but still enjoy Angie.
I totally agree! Angie will give the unvarnished reality of new products and wear time. I used to love DRMTLGY as a more affordable dupe to EltaMD until I went back to it, EltaMD won in the end, it doesn't accentuate pores, sets well, and doesn't rub off as easily as the DRMTLGY. I have a tube of the Universal tinted SPF 46 that I'll use up and then I'll move on.
@@AngieHotandFlashy that music was so relaxing. That was so cute you put it in there I’m a yoga instructor. What is the name of that song so I can add it to my list lol thank you honey have a great Fourth of July weekend!
Oh Angie, you are always so calm and collected and your makeup is always perfect, so I had to smile a little when things didn’t go to plan, as happens to all of us from time to time. But you still managed to pull off a lovely look with no swearing, so that was impressive! 😉😍
Oh my gosh Angie, this video makes me love you even more😂Thank you for being human like the rest of us! And for posting even when things don’t go as planned❤️
Omg!! I have to admit that this is the first video that actually made me laugh out loud! I love how you kept going.. it showed us that these things don’t only happen to us.. but even Angie!! I hope you got all your errands done! Enjoy your daughters visit!
Angie, you really outdo yourself each and every time! Thank you. I'm having a CO2 laser procedure done on Monday and am excited to see the results. BTW, I've been watching you for years and you're a truly beautiful and gracious woman. Thanks again for all you do. Have a blast with your daughter.
Hi Linda , I just had the Co2 laser in October face & the eyes . I never realized I pulled on the skin around my eyes ( oh yea, the skin around my eyes were so tender) I watched Nicole Kidman flicker the fingers around her eyes , so I started doing that . The only problem I had was my dr. Said as soon as the skin flakes off start with sunscreen & I did that ....omg...it blistered my face.....not filled blisters but definitely felt like a bad sunburn . I go this Friday Nov.19 for a follow up check with my derm.
Love how you keep it real, Angie. I have had to “start over” many times in my makeup applications due to products not quite working. I have the Drmtlgy SPF and right now it’s my favorite but my skin is dry to really dry so I don’t have too much of a shine issue. I got the little blush trio too - very pretty colors - Lisa’s lipsticks are on my list…Kindness is calling to me. You look beautiful as always - have a blast with your daughter. Xo
The DRMTLGY SPF is my absolute favorite! I'm surprised you haven't tried it yet. It's so moisturizing for my dry skin and makes me look 10 years younger lol. I can sometimes use it on no makeup , makeup days with the tiniest bit of CT flawless filter, concealer, mascara, and lip gloss. Love your eyeshadow look here too :)
I am so glad you made this video and shared. I think it is great when people have a bad make up or hair day. I know I have many. You pulled it off and made it work. Thank you for sharing.
I know this video was filmed two years ago but I have to say, I loved it! Just all the real life stuff going on was the best! Thank you for all you do.
I’ve had such a crappy day today, so it really brightened my evening when I saw you had released a video. Seeing you fix the problem rather than a do-over was inspiring - thank you x
I haven’t enjoyed a video as much as this one…ever. The shine…dog barking in the background…makeup not setting up right…and the meditation music. You are so authentic and through all the mishaps you made it work in the end. Thank you for being genuine and I hope your weekend with your daughter is as memorable 🥰👍🏼
I have been following you for years. You are always so graceful in all you do. I have used/purchased many of your recommendations. Such a beauty you are! Thank you 😊
My favourite H&F video ever and I’ve been a fan for 5 years + ❤️ You’re amazing Angie and so naturally funny. It was brilliant to see how you rescued everything and kept your calm. Thanks for being yourself. 🤗
I came back to comment again lol. Thank you Angie for all you do. I was just browsing UA-cam out of boredom and it only makes you stand out even more to me. You always show us you actually using the products. Sooo many want to talk or brag on products but just talk about it instead of showing us. You also explain in depth while applying where most others just apply instead of talking through it. I simply appreciate all you do and you are where you are for that reason. Thank you for never breezing through a video.
This was so entertaining Angie! You made me laugh when you started doing eyeshadow and added the meditation music. I was already running late for work listening in my car and suddenly I didn't give a s#$% about being late...relaxing. Love your sense of humor.
I am enjoying the Tower28 tinted *sunscreen* as well. It feels like a sunscreen so it’s moisturizing on its own. I wear it alone, as I would any tinted sunscreen, when I know I won’t be outside most of the day or have someplace special to go. The benefit is that it provides more coverage (blemish) than most other sunscreens. And it doesn’t have any funky sunscreen smells. It is elegant enough to be called a foundation but at most it’s a skin tint type. We can’t expect it to be the same as a standard foundation when it’s an SPF 30. I would call this a hybrid.
Hi Angie, today you look so beautiful! I like those golden eye shadows on you. Together with your blond hair you look like a golden goddess :) That warm look suits you so good. And the lip stick is great as well.
Hi Angie, I’ve been following your channel for almost two years and love your honesty and sincerity! I’m wondering if you could do a video on make-up travel holders you use and/or make-up holder travel tips?
Great looking make up Angie especially since it was so challenging in the middle! I have oily skin so the oil slick thing I totally get it! Thanks also for showing the BK beauty lipsticks. I have them too and I’m really liking them. They are creamy and the tube is really high end. I love that fancy click! LOL!
Great video! I love how you just go with it when things don't turn out exactly right! The makeup turned out very pretty on you. Enjoy your time with your daughter. Also, I'm loving your brushes!!!
Angie, can’t begin to say how often I’ve been in that situation where I have struggled with some products and I ended up washing my face and either started over or gave up. You showed grace and patience and taught me some tips for trying to salvage the situation. Thank you for your humility and keeping things real!
I have been wearing DRMTLGY sunscreen all summer when I saw it was recommended by you and Dr. Dray. It is the only one I can use all around my eyes and eyelids without irritation.
Thank you for sharing a “not so perfect” experience. We all have those days. I love the eye shadow and the lipsticks! I am glad that you took time to enjoy your daughter’s visit. Hopefully this week is going a little better. 😉
I absolutely LOVE the dermatology SPF 46 sunscreen which I wear alone most days. I also love the bronze eyeliner color! I, like you, Angie, tend to love the more subtle earthtone colors best.
Hi Angie. I recently bought all of Drmtlgy sunscreens and they are all super shiny and the tinted ones are too dark for me. I have combo skin. They are ok. They never really dry down. I don’t think I would repurchase them. I don’t mind some shine but these are more than I am comfortable with. ❤️
@@goldieramirez5121 Hi Goldie, I'm thinking DRMTLGY tinted is better for dry skin... I've used it a few times and it's always pretty shiny on my & shortens wear time of makeup 😢

Thank you Angie @HotandFlashy for showing us the DRMTLGY sunscreen! I’ve heard great things about it, my concern is I have oily skin and it may not work for me. I use a primer to help with the shininess when prepping my face. I’m going to look at the eye liner pencil you used in this video. Your eyes are beautiful. Keep bringing us informative videos. ✨🌼
Thank you so much Angie! I am the type to swear and go to the sink to wash it all off. I super appreciate you showing us how to deal with setbacks like shiny sticky skin. Washing it off is no good for me of the sensitive reactive skin. These days I am skipping foundation, just applying my HG SPF from France and fiddling with my eyes and brows. My eyelids are always gummy. I will try my IT Bye Bye Pores on top of the Fenty eye primer. Lately I've been crushing on Mac Paint Pot in Vintage Selection. Though today I'm wearing Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks in Cobblestone and Sugar Frost.
Oh my goodness! This is my favorite video of yours yet! It’s so reassuring to see a beauty and make up expert have the same issues I have when I try to apply make up! P.S. You are gorgeous! 😊
Hi Angie I have the Dermatology spf 46 and I love it. I have combination skin with oily centre panel so I find the best foundations to use with this sunscreen are ones like EL Double Wear applied with a damp sponge and also L’Oreal Infallible Freshwear foundation. I usually apply a very fine layer of translucent powder over centre to finish and it is perfect. Maybe that Tower one is too greasy with the sunscreen 🥰💜
You made me giggle in this video. I have also felt that I couldn’t get out of my own way (many, many times) and I have reacted in similar ways. And, I LOVE your little dog barking in the background. Real world stuff. No matter! You made it work and your makeup looked gorgeous. Thanks always for you authenticity and humor.
Lol Angie this was so funny but at the end it all worked out beautifully!!!! I love your great attitude. It happens to the best of us but when you think of it it’s just makeup 💄 Have a great weekend with your daughters.
Angie you did such a professional job with the super messy situation of that slippery foundation. I would have been crying. I stick with my tried and true Estée Lauder foundation’s.
I’m so glad you did this video because it is nice to see how you work through issues when all the makeup doesn’t go so smoothly. That eye pallet is so pretty. Also, love your dogs barking because that’s my day everyday. Can’t wait for your brushes to come back in stock, I told my hubby I want them in my Christmas stocking 😀
Wow, those blush swatches are really pretty, but almost look like lipstick! I always love these videos, thanks Angie! Edited to add, the eye shadow is beautiful!
I ordered the DRMTLGY spf. I used over a primer. It dried down nice but later in the day it turned orange in my hair line. So I will be returning and stay with my Elta MD spf.
I’ve been mixing the dermatology tinted moisture riser with Australian gold for about a year now and I love it the one takes care of the moisture rising and other the dryness.
Good idea - love the Australian Gold (and Elta MD), but with the Australian Gold, it could use a little moisture. My take is why not find "the one" so you do not have to keep buying two products.....
I’ve never seen your make up videos not go perfectly. I’m actually really glad you showed the “reality” of new products not working so well. Of course you ended up looking flawless. Enjoy your daughters visit, that’s what is really important!

I just love you Angie!! Hope your week gets better ❤️
This turned out great Angie. Your top is so pretty and I love that lip colour on you 💕
You made me laugh tonight after a hard day. Thank you!
Angie you are awesome. Thank you for everything you do. You always make my day. ❤️❤️
Lol Angie this was so funny but at the end it all worked out beautifully!!!!
I love your great attitude.
It happens to the best of us but when you think of it it’s just makeup 💄
Have a great weekend with your daughters.
Angie you did such a professional job with the super messy situation of that slippery foundation. I would have been crying. I stick with my tried and true Estée Lauder foundation’s.
BTW the lipsticks are gorgeous love Lisa J.
I use the drmtlgy spf tinted and I love it, I use it with the IT cc cream and it’s perfect. I have normal skin type. I live in a humid weather.
I’ll admit that I am not good with liquid or cream blush. You make it look easy. Those colors are lovely 😊
Hi Angie❣️ Your makeup came out great!! Hope you have a nice time with your daughter. 💜❤️💜❤️
The part where you put the meditative music on is SO FUNNY 😂 that’s me every time my makeup gets messed up
Wow, those blush swatches are really pretty, but almost look like lipstick! I always love these videos, thanks Angie! Edited to add, the eye shadow is beautiful!
The Rare Beauty blush is very pigmented! Lasts all day!!
Brilliant! Will try that today!!
Good idea - love the Australian Gold (and Elta MD), but with the Australian Gold, it could use a little moisture. My take is why not find "the one" so you do not have to keep buying two products.....
Wow your perseverance on this video. Always so good though... eyes are the best
I love that lipstick color on you! The formula looks great too. 🥰
It was so refreshing to see your struggles!!! I have those moments more often than not!! You meditation eye shadow tutorial was fabulous!!!!!
Hi Angie- do we always need to give the sunscreen 20 minutes to dry or just that particular one? thanks!!
Yes, I'm wondering the same. I don't wait 20 minutes for my sunscreen to set in.
All sunscreens need 15-20 minutes to set and form a film for optimal protection.
Im obsessed with drmtlgy sunscreen!!
That sunscreen has never left my skin shiny or greasy.
