  • Healthy Ragi dosa and idli recipe :- Ragi, also known as finger millet, is a nutritious grain used in dosa and idli recipes, offering health benefits like weight management and diabetes control due to its high fiber content. A healthy ragi dosa or idli recipe typically involves a blend of ragi, urad dal, rice flakes(poha) idli rice, fenugreek seeds, and salt. These ingredients are soaked, ground into a smooth batter, fermented, and then used to make dosas or idlis. The fermentation process enhances the nutritional value and digestibility of these dishes.
    Ingredients:
    1 cup ragi(finger millet/nachni)
    1/2 idli rice or dosa rice or raw rice
    1/2 cup urad dal (black gram lentils)
    1 tsp methi seeds(fenugreek seeds)
    Poha thick/rice flakes - 1/4 cup
    Salt - 1tsp or to taste
    Water - 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup
    Oil for cooking

      Ragi has his own bitterness, you can add less methi seeds. Also Add ghee on dosa before serving
