can you be my nightingale? That’s such a dumb statement. I’m guessing every bad choice or mistake you made is still going to be you for the rest of your life? Since you’re a victim of bullying you must be a victim for the rest of your life? Sad and helpless? I’ve been bullied and harassed really bad for a long time when I was in school. Some of those people are still bad people but most of them aren’t and just weren’t dealing with their emotions properly. You sound like you just can’t forgive and push past what happened.
@BrainaLee, she bullied other people? I just can't believe that... If a person is sinning against you forgive them for they too need help. 10 years ago I searched for the REAL Demi Lovato on Facebook. I found her, but I sensed a shadow around the account. I saw her talking to Jersey Shore members. That scared me. Even more, I said I was reincarnated from a general. Then, she said "All hail Hitler." I have told this to her, I believe, but that was several years ago. I forgive her. I want her to spend time with her friends that are healthy and supportive and have her BEST interest at heart. No matter what, I will ALWAYS ALWAYS LOVE HER. Look, forgiving someone isn't a sin. For WHATEVER Demi has done, just find it in your heart to forgive her. Okay? Okay...
I hate when I see people say oh she's rich why is she complaining she can get help MONEY CANNOT BUY HAPPINESS she is the only reason I have been able to attempt to push through my depression and my addiction to self harm. Every story of a child living in fear of an abusive father is tragic. This is a kind of trauma that affects person’s life forever. I so admire Demi’s fight for staying alive, getting better, while giving the world an amazing gift of her music. As a survivor of childhood trauma l find the “Warrior” to be a wonderful fight song for those who need to battle with the aftermath of trauma from the hands of those who should have been giving love, not harm.

I love Demi Lovato! She has a very incredible beautiful and powerful singing voice. Her singing voice literally gives me goosebumps every time I listen to her songs. She's absolutely one of those singers who does not need autotune. She's also a very great actress too. I remember when she was on Barney when she was a kid. I also remember when she was on Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2 as well as As The Bell Rings and Sunny With A Chance. I'm a huge fan of her and I also consider her as a major influence in my life. This video shows Demi’s strong personality, despite everything she went through she has been successful in her life as an actress singer and according to the videos also a good person, I love Demi is a strong and inspirational person and especially because of her songs
Her life isn't "tragic' its "inspirational". Demi is one of the strongest artist in the industry. Working ever since you're a child till now, imagine the pressure on that. Surpassing every challenges in her life made many people realize to be strong and to keep on fighting. Her life isn't easy at all. Thanked God she stayed. I hope her health is now stable for good. Drug addiction, mental health issues effects wealthy famous people the same as everyone else. Sometimes even worse, as they have more resources to keep it going longer, & keep it hidden better.
I like and respect Demi Lovato, but you're talking about her like she's a martyr, like she's a saint who was dealt a raw deal... She's talented, yes, she's struggling in life yes, but her story isn't new. She's still young beautiful and rich, she has access to all the fancy rehab centers and a lot of options in life. She's a human, not a heroic victim of a cruel life.
I never had a drinking or drug problem. But i am a addict and that is something i have to struggle with everyday. And because i have a bad hearing and speaking problems, i have been bullied alot and feel small and have low self-esteem because of that. So i understand some part of it very good and am Lucky with my family. So stay demi, you are a rolemodel for me. And for everybody reading this, stay strong and talk with family and true friends.

i love Demi she is truly a force to be reckoned with.. too bad we all cant see our selves how others do.. but every child is effected by their up bringing and it can be carried on into adulthood especially if the issues are forced to be stifled.. causing that person to result to such behavior. i just wish we were more sensitive to others and how what you say or do has a ripple effect on everything and everyone around you.. most of us have seem to lose some of that humanity
Some people go through wayyy worse and do not have any support or people who love them. Some people never see success like her so the fact that she has come so far and has SO much success she really isn't doing bad. I'm happy for her and she has worked hard but everybody faces tragedy like her.
Just clicked on this video to comment. Change the title, tragic life of Demi sounds like she’s dead or still strung out on drugs. She’s survived and is a true representation of what can happen to young child stars.
Demi’s life is no where near “heartbreaking”.. yes she has had to deal with a lot of tough struggles in her life and yes the struggles did start unfortunately very early in her life but they shouldn’t define her. She’s also taken those struggles and the emotions of them along with her passion of singing and hard work and created an insanely impressive career for herself. Because of that she has been able to help millions & millions of people who may be going through the same struggles and depression. Demi’s dream of becoming a singer came true and now her passion is her career and she’s damn good at it. Plus in my opinion everytime she’s had to get back up after falling down she just gets better and better and her songs are incredibly meaningful. So yeahhh, yes Demi has had to go through some tough times but they made her who she is today and I would say her life is far from heartbreaking.
Let me preface this by saying I love Demi Lovato, and this video brought me to tears... Now to my comment. First of all, I have no idea why people keep saying she’s a Leo, because she was born on the 28th of August (which, if you didn’t know, would actually make her a Virgo). Secondly, I had no idea about her drug struggles while she worked with Disney... The poor gal has always been tortured, it seems. Finally, I’m glad that she’s getting the help she needs, because she has people who love and need her.
She is a beautiful girl and so talented, to watch her relapse was awful but unfortunately this happens when you have an addiction. Doesn’t matter what you are addicted to it sucks. I lost my dad to alcoholism he had only turned 60 when his body was found, he would binge drink it was hard to watch I knew it would kill him, my brother was just like my dad and I thought we would lose him as well to drink and drugs (my dad never took drugs) but 7 years ago my brother ended up in the hospital having to get a pacemaker fitted and from that day 7 years ago he has been sober, I can honestly say I never thought he would do it, I am so proud of him and the way he turned his life around. Him and his wife renewed their wedding vows 2 years ago and they are one of the happiest couples I know they love each other more than ever I love seeing them as they are so funny together and so in love even after 20 years. I am one very proud big sister. So to all those out there that struggle with any sort of addiction just take one day at a time and if you do relapse don’t beat yourself up about it
I came to this video after watching her 2023 MTV VMAs performance. I found it very entertaining. But after hearing all of this, it seems that Demi Lovato is the psyhical embodiment of A Star Is Born.
I think a lot of celebrities are just human beings, and they are so normal once you look past the fame and money, and a lot of the times, they get judged or ridiculed for being human, and in fact the normal regular people who aren’t famous are the ones who don’t always act human( I would like to point that I’m not talking about everyone, mostly haters and trolls) and we need to take a step back and think, that person you see in music videos or on tv, they bleed like us, they hurt like us, they laugh and they smile like us, and because of the life of being on a stage and on a screen, we should give more reason to consider how they feel, because at the end of the day, we’re all human, doesn’t matter where we come from, what our skin colour is, what language we speak or what our weight is either, it all comes down to just treating everyone like you would want to be treated. And I love Demi, she really is beautiful, and she should live her life the way she wants💜💜💜
i remember her from disney but had no idea she was suffering fro a lot especially from her dad but she's strong she'll pick up her spirits her drive her ambition she's a strong willed leo but will survive anything she did help with bullying for sure
Sonny with a chance was definitely one of the more unique shows on Disney channel. While it was never my absolute favourite, I just still can’t believe it’s not on Disney+ yet! Hurry up already Disney!
It makes sense why she got fat when she quit drugs. Having a food addiction/eating disorder means you also have a dopamine disorder. The large amounts of dopamine she used to get with drugs was replaced with food induced dopamine. Anyone who struggles with food addiction would agree. Any addiction presents with the same symptoms. And in truth, behind these addictions is a raw need for comfort. Food as comfort, drugs as comfort, alcohol as comfort. The comfort one never received from their parents in early childhood. Recovery is all about abstinence from trigger foods/substances and learning how to fill the void with healthy things. Like a healthy diet, moderate exercise to serve the dopamine craving, therapy and support groups. It's incredible how much pain this girl endured to get to this point. Genetics play a big factor, attachment styles just as big, but by far the biggest factor is trauma. I hope she heals. It's the hardest thing she will ever do.
I never commented before. But what a victory she would be if she found the Lord and did some powerful gospel. Especially considering the strong lyrics she is known for.
OMG, I just remembered how cute she was when she was little. Remember she had that adorable little gap in her teeth, I loved that & almost wish she left it alone. Of course she is gorgeous either way.
I think Demi is awesome! I don't judge her at all for her addiction/mental health issues, it happens to the very best of us, & is alarmingly common & touches nearly everyone, if not personally, thru friends/family who have struggled with these issues. I admire her honesty, (even about her dishonesty in the past) which is brave, especially when you are in the public eye, as it could potentially ruin a person's career. I am glad she is doing well, she is so beautiful & talented & in my opinion, has not gotten the critical acclaim she deserves. I always wish her the best, even when she irritates me, by publicly & negatively inserting herself into other people's business. Not going into details, cause I really like her, & don't want to sound like I'm ragging on her. Just sometimes sounds like she lacks empathy towards people who are going thru their own turmoil. I know from personal experience, battling mental health issues & drug addiction, negative focus on others, just breeds more negativity, & ultimately is a waste of time & energy.

So y'all haters*attention seekers* :dont judge a person!!
Drug addiction, mental health issues effects wealthy famous people the same as everyone else. Sometimes even worse, as they have more resources to keep it going longer, & keep it hidden better.
Demi is so much talented than other Disney stars who tried in music business. I hope that she be all right both mentally and physically.
I couldn't click fast enough!!!!!!, but I'm here for her!!!!!
very very amazing list I like it a lot great job mis mojo one of my very favorite list ever she is a amazing woman and a amazing singer too
I Loved Demi since I was 5 years old I’m 17 now This has been a long journey and I will forever love & support her no matter what
I like and respect Demi Lovato, but you're talking about her like she's a martyr, like she's a saint who was dealt a raw deal... She's talented, yes, she's struggling in life yes, but her story isn't new. She's still young beautiful and rich, she has access to all the fancy rehab centers and a lot of options in life. She's a human, not a heroic victim of a cruel life.
hello
I never had a drinking or drug problem. But i am a addict and that is something i have to struggle with everyday. And because i have a bad hearing and speaking problems, i have been bullied alot and feel small and have low self-esteem because of that. So i understand some part of it very good and am Lucky with my family. So stay demi, you are a rolemodel for me. And for everybody reading this, stay strong and talk with family and true friends.
I've always loved Demi. She's so honest with her fans, incredibly talented and she is just a role model.
My first music of Demi Levato I listened to is Heart Attack.
her life when she was bullied was even harder that it's really sad. I really hope she's really okay.
I'm so glad that she is still with us.
I hope she stays sober permanteley. I can't imagine losing another big celebrity through an addiction.
Sean Horace omg if she died I honestly don’t know what I’d do🥺
Loads of love and respect for this beautiful person🤗🤗🤗Her songs are amazing just like her👌👌👌
I might as well just watch simply complicated.
It's so sad because she's an amazing artist :( I hope she overcomes her issues for good
I’m having a heavy heart right now for her
sonny with a chance is the literal best show ever
everyone just watch her documentary simply complicated on youtube!! it's so good
Demi Been through so much . She made mistakes in the past . She’s not perfect. She’s Just a human being . This year is her comeback. I always been a fan of her ever since Disney . Her music is amazing, she’s wrote about her life . That’s what I like about. Stay strong Demi . We are here for you
i love Demi she is truly a force to be reckoned with.. too bad we all cant see our selves how others do.. but every child is effected by their up bringing and it can be carried on into adulthood especially if the issues are forced to be stifled.. causing that person to result to such behavior. i just wish we were more sensitive to others and how what you say or do has a ripple effect on everything and everyone around you.. most of us have seem to lose some of that humanity
I love and can relate to her so much ❤️
Some people go through wayyy worse and do not have any support or people who love them.
I love her so much shes a huge inspiration for me. I have battled with substance abuse (mine was alcohol).❤
Don Parker her birthday is August 20th, not the 28th. And I hope you don’t take this comment in a rude or snippy way.
My bad, I guess she is a Leo. My mistake, I misheard that.
DEMI QUEEN! WE'RE ALWAYS HERE FOR YOU, CUTIE 💛
She means the world to me❤️
Somebody grab the tissues!😢😭
Selena Gomez has had the same situation as well.
MsMogo For the next video. I think you should talk about the tragic life of Selena Gomez as well.
Daniel Gomez not true. She isn’t bipolar. Selena has lupus
@@veronicapiccinini1981 Basically I think she had medical problems or nervous breakdowns.
I heard about all of that from reelz
She doesn’t have drug addiction lol
Sorry but she has😔😔
My girl 😢❤️
i was at her concert on march 16, 2018 and it was her 6 years of sobriety and we all sang happy birthday to her
How about changing the title? You made it sound like she just passed away.
i hope she stays strong, she deserves genuine happiness
So to all those out there that struggle with any sort of addiction just take one day at a time and if you do relapse don’t beat yourself up about it
She is a warrior a great woman ❤. I admire her
You know, I may have not seen the "Sober" video but from the preview alone, I already know how disturbing it really is. It scared me half to death
Her life is amazing she is amazing
I came to this video after watching her 2023 MTV VMAs performance. I found it very entertaining. But after hearing all of this, it seems that Demi Lovato is the psyhical embodiment of A Star Is Born.
I feel so bad for Demi Lovato 😢🌺❤️
I love you Demi, no matter what!
She’s my world I love her so much ❤️
I think a lot of celebrities are just human beings, and they are so normal once you look past the fame and money, and a lot of the times, they get judged or ridiculed for being human, and in fact the normal regular people who aren’t famous are the ones who don’t always act human( I would like to point that I’m not talking about everyone, mostly haters and trolls) and we need to take a step back and think, that person you see in music videos or on tv, they bleed like us, they hurt like us, they laugh and they smile like us, and because of the life of being on a stage and on a screen, we should give more reason to consider how they feel, because at the end of the day, we’re all human, doesn’t matter where we come from, what our skin colour is, what language we speak or what our weight is either, it all comes down to just treating everyone like you would want to be treated. And I love Demi, she really is beautiful, and she should live her life the way she wants💜💜💜
An amazing woman and rolemodel for young girls and woman... Love het. Lovatalic 💜
i remember her from disney but had no idea she was suffering fro a lot especially from her dad but she's strong she'll pick up her spirits her drive her ambition she's a strong willed leo but will survive anything she did help with bullying for sure
Sonny with a chance was definitely one of the more unique shows on Disney channel. While it was never my absolute favourite, I just still can’t believe it’s not on Disney+ yet! Hurry up already Disney!
I feel the same way I want it on Disney plus so badly!!
Arin Baur awesome!
I love Demi. Thank you crew for your dedication.
Let's stay connected, all fans I hope you're having a fabulous day!
I never commented before. But what a victory she would be if she found the Lord and did some powerful gospel. Especially considering the strong lyrics she is known for.
I hope she finds the peace & happiness she is seeking . I just heard about the trauma she suffered when she was 15🕊️🤍
She’s been through a lot
I cried when she did the national anthem... (also I'm from Kansas City)
OMG, I just remembered how cute she was when she was little. Remember she had that adorable little gap in her teeth, I loved that & almost wish she left it alone. Of course she is gorgeous either way.
I really liked her during sonny with a chance era... now I just feel that vibe with her anymore
So inspiring & beautiful inside & out 💞
Thank God.❤
Her voice really matured. I haven't heard her for many years.
We still love you Demi! 💖💖💖💖💖
Poor Demi... I feel so bad for her 💔💔😭🙏
Im the same age as demi with basically going through similar traumas myself, parents split up dad left, although with me it was abusive stepfathers
I'm praying for demi she is truly the best thing that ever lived I totally relate to what she has been through in her life
Sure her life has been sad for her and she's been suffering from mental illnesses but it's not as serious as the title exaggerates
