@@Haplo-san Levi has shown multiple times that he has a soft spot for Erwin specially. To him Erwin is his Savior, his hope and his leader. I do believe Ackerman theory is true...we have seen that in Kenny with Uri and Levi with Erwin. So it's very understandable for him to try save Erwin.
Idk about you guys, but to see Levi right there, knowing that he thinks about his dead friends, Isabel and Farlan, it broke my heart. Poor Levi, he deserve better
The ending to Bystander makes it my favorite episode of all time. Shadis' story is just so interesting, to see him really take step after step. He starts off very ego driven and full of himself, torn down my failure after failure eventually reaching a bottom point in that confrontation with Carla and baby Eren. He's a bit better after that, but he's living as a bystander. He does as Eren's dad asks, he doesn't get involved. While Carla had said Eren is already special, Shadis came to settle that he was never special. And then he sees Eren with the 3D gear, acknowledges him as special. But then this fckin guy has to deal with the whiplash of hearing Eren say "I was never special" about himself. Shadis offers him the words of his mother, reassuring him. But he also thinks back to that moment when eren proved himself to Shadis. He's really gotta give that one a think.
Bystander is an underrated episode, but it's definitely one of my favorites as well, for the exact reasons you pointed out. Thanks for explaining it so well. Carla's words regarding Eren, always get me misty eyed.

Thank you he has to deal with so much crap Erwin is the only other person he feels a deep connection with and Erwin decides to go instead of staying. He knows there is a good possibility that they won’t be coming back
it is so sad to see Levi is alone watching the trio Eren, Armin and Mikasa, maybe Levi remembered his best friends, Isabel and Furlan, his own trio from the underground, I always hope that Levi will finally find his own happiness someday
The reason everyone loves Levi is cause he knows how to stay calm and collected. He's not heartless, but surviving means you gotta be mean and ruthless and show kindness when needed. He's honestly such a well written character. Isayama really put his soul into making this story cause every character is good and you wanna root for all of them and get sad when they die. Y'all are not ready for what's about to come. Y'all about to get some whiplash.
Levi and his friends wanted to live upper world and see the sky. Eren and his friends wanted to see the outside world and sea. Seeing Levi there while they talk about sea makes me depressed
I think Levi was there drinking by himself outside of the restaurant that all the scouts were dining in. I think he was just sitting by himself in a spot where nobody would disturb him, reminiscing about his old days with his best friends: Isabel and Farlan, his uncle Kenny, and his mother, because he just lost Kenny a few episodes before this. Maybe he just didn't have an apetite for actual food and the meat that the rest of the scouts were eating, so he just took himself a drink and headed out. Then, he noticed Eren, Armin, and Mikasa walk by and sit close to where he was sitting by himself, and rather than leave in order to not invade their privacy, he decides to listen in because they remind him of his younger days with his best friends
Don't know if you guys didn't catch it or just didn't put too much thought into it, but it's a pretty interesting reveal that Shadis was the one that tried to sabotage Eren. He broke his equipment in the beginning so he'd fail his ODM gear test and realize how little he could affect someone truly great.
The next 10 episodes used to have an average of 9.8/9.9 rating on imdb before they got review-bombed. It's widely regarded as one of the best arcs in TV.

We saw with Armin's parents, Erwin's dad, the hunting of the Ackerman family until Kenny met Yuri, and Historia's mom that the Military Police were vigilant and would have seen this "outside amnesiac man" as a potential threat and attempted to kill him from Shadis' detailed report.
I love 3x11 "bystander "and i think it's the most underrated aot episode. I honestly love it so much i consider it a masterpiece and it's probably my favourite episode from season 3 part 1. It has SO MUCH foreshadowing and such a great message and adds so much to the story in general. It's truly a special episode and very unique and you love it even more if you understand what it's trying to convey.
I love that exchange between Levi and Erwin. Ofc Levi was right, but Erwin is just that determined to see the basement he can't give up on going. Also, remember how in Levi's spin off he wanted to kill him? And now Levi just wants Erwin to survive. I love how far they've come.

I hate when fans make assumptions of romantic relationships where CLEARLY IS NOT THE CASE. Levi and Erwin love and respect each other as friends or as brothers (at most)

all right guys the thing about the sasquatch ... his titan is called the beast titan if you recall, you cant resemble a human when he turns into a beast.... hope that clears things up
If i recall correctly, in one of the past reactions Mason Quinn came to the conclusion that the basement might not have answers but a family photo of the Jaeger family I do need to look back from what episode he got that conclusion
The convo they had got misconstrued. Mason said Erwin's dad was the beast (who had brown hair) and described him as blonde with a blonde beard and Answer said "no he's brown" also talking about Erwin's dad who just appeared on screen with brown hair (probably ended up thinking it was a flashback to the beast titan.) In the end Mason and Oak said the guy inside beast was blonde with Answer saying "no, it's brown, we just saw it" (still referring to Erwin's dad) lol. He was right about that, but overall was wrong about the beast guy's hair color, but in his defence, Mason was wrong about Erwin's dad being blonde which is where all this got mixed up. They dogged him unfairly tbh.
I just love to see Mason Quinn predicting something and proven completely wrong afterwards. Yeah, Levi is a titan because he's steaming. Wasn't he the one that predicted that Female titan is Levi or Eren's mom !? 😂
I freaking love shadis's episode, i realize that the msg they were going with is that everyone is already special just by existing and being loved by someone, that and the exact opposite , does anyone need to feel special in order to feel loved and achieve great things in life , but on a much less philosophical note , i guess what made team levi was more " special " then shadis is how well they can take a " losse " , not just one but a goddamn series of them , each one of them is obsessed with this job for a reason and they are willing to destroy their bodies , souls and hearts with loss after hit after failure in order to stay in it , that's what truly made them special not how much smarter , cooler , charismatic or stronger they are
them talking during the intro never gets old lmao 🤣🤣, Bystander is like my top 3 favorite episode it's such a nice way to give exposition and fill in the gaps through a Bystander whom we have already known
The cliffhanger of each AOT always keep me on edge. Just the awesomeness!!! Don’t know what to expect. But can’t wait to see y’all reaction after episode 12. Reaching to the new height 📈
i feel like this is important to mention since its not really a spoiler its just some info that seems wasnt picked up on. whenever a titan dies they start to evaporate/produce steam and dissapear. titan blood is the same, you can see some characters get covered then it quickly evaporates. also if you rewatch that mid credits scene you can see hes still holding the injection in his hand before he hits eren out of the way.
This is one of the most Underrated episode of the whole show.... Where Keith drops the most important backstory after saying he's just a bystander The Reveal of who tampered with his ODM gear, most of us didn't even remembered that at this point And so so many hints and foreshadowing for what's the Truth and whats to comw
I think Keith thought he was special and could change something. Until he met Grisha, and then he began to fail in his profession, and he thought that the reason behind his failure was because Grisha cursed him. I think he thought he was special, and then Grisha cursed him and keith became an unspecial person, and thats why he said to Grisha (It was your fault) and (Are you going to curse someone else now?) like he did to keith Keith really loved Carla and Erin remindes him of her and that's why he sabotaged his own equipment. He knew that Carla never wanted Erin to be part of the scouts. This is one of the reasons.
I think the relationship between Carla and Dr. Jaeger was more than love, but simple practicality. Even if Carla had any feelings for Shaddis, being with him was probably never a possibility because he was a Scout. Dr. Jaeger was a lot more stable and wasn't risking his life everyday by going beyond the walls.
Actually I Lurve it when Quinn & Oak talk about the into theme tune, become 1 of my fave things when watching these hehe 😄 & Lurved the poses you did at 7:41 & 27:25

Also, there was a 6 month gap between 3x12 and 3x13. A teaser like that post-credit scene helps create a frenzy of anticipation. Ratings, baby. Ratings.
Incase you missed it Kieth was the one who sabotaged Eren's ODM gear.
Sorry to the rest of the guys, but Oak is absolutely correct, Red Swan is the peak of AoT music.
Yes. When it's all over, Red Swan makes so much more sense
28:01 *split my tea* 😅
Yes....
👀 yeah...
He has been saying it for a few episodes by now
24:50 "The one guy Dr. Jaeger can't beat, his own BROTHER"
LMAOSOOAOSOSOOOO
Dude I forgot they teased that roof scuffle here. Some of the most intense and some of the most epic moments in this show coming in a few episodes. I can't wait
You should've kept the creepy montage I remember watching it alone at night and thinking my internet is glitching and getting a jumpscared
Get ready, the second half of season 3 is for many fans the peak of the show, i personally think season 4 is even better but from now on you are going to witness greatness. Some of the next episodes are part of the highest rated episodes in television.
The next 10 episodes / The return of Shiganshina arc is the best television I've ever witnessed in my life 🙏can't wait for next week 🙌
Next few episodes are the best in whole series. They are not ready!
@@se7endie586 yes
they are on season 4 and absolutely loved season 3 part 2
@@seancarroll5803 yes everyone's gonna be crazy because the whole truth of the show is in this arc with the best action and emotions. Obviously they're gonna love it. So I assume you're a patreon watcher?
34:36 Hey, we finally got all four of you to salute at the same time!! ✊♥
I'm so beyond excited to see y'alls reaction to the last few episodes of this season. They're my favorite.
That salute y'all did was flawless. Now imagine waiting a year for the next episode.
Levi: “Being there, is that important? More than your legs?”
Erwin: “Yes.”
Levi: “More than humanity’s victory?”
Erwin: “Yes.”
Levi: “. . . more than me?”
Erwin: “. . . yes . . .”
>⌓
"What in the world do you think is down there?"
"Family picture."
Ironically enough, you're not exactly wrong.
Just wanna say re: the mid ending scene if Levi was a titan, he’d have the markings around his eyes as well👀
This entire Levi and Erwin's scene is just Levi saying "Erwin, what about US?"
I read the “what about us?” Like the high school Musical song and now I’m imagining Levi singing
Phiss off
Guys trust me when I say: You have to watch Ep16, Ep17 and Ep18 in one video. You wont regret it.
No one and I mean NO ONE can be a better leader than Erwin.
Agree. I really wish for an alternate universe where he leads Paradis until the end.
@@Langley_Ackerman19 an alternate universe where Floch is the attack titan
One of you predicted something, that is crazy😂 wait until that ep
Well, somewhat 😁😁😁
time?
@@nanika6387 28:02
@@nanika6387 nope
my jaw literally dropped LMAO😂
The Answer got fact checked real time 😅.
It's funny how they had different arguments and they were both wrong. Erwin's dad had dark brown hair and he was killed for trying to investigate outside walls just like historia's mom and others
@@ghostlee6434 sometimes it’s frustrating when they get it wrong but at the same time this is what makes it a fun watch as well. They do a bunch of shows so it’s understandable that their memories get jammed up like that every now and then.
all right guys the thing about the sasquatch ... his titan is called the beast titan if you recall, you cant resemble a human when he turns into a beast.... hope that clears things up
15:13 why would he think a family photo is in the basement? 😂 of all the things to be there. why does it have to be a photo.
Right💀💀💀, doesn't even make sense tbh
His father wouldn't be that dumb. No way all this time and a family photo was it. Couldn't be.
*saying this in the most sarcastic way possible*
Well atleast he guessed right😂
If i recall correctly, in one of the past reactions Mason Quinn came to the conclusion that the basement might not have answers but a family photo of the Jaeger family
I do need to look back from what episode he got that conclusion
They're already in s4 on patreon.
The next part bout to be PEAK FICTION 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Note: all titan blood steams
Keith Shadis and Bystander are both so underrated and so damn good
The convo they had got misconstrued. Mason said Erwin's dad was the beast (who had brown hair) and described him as blonde with a blonde beard and Answer said "no he's brown" also talking about Erwin's dad who just appeared on screen with brown hair (probably ended up thinking it was a flashback to the beast titan.)
In the end Mason and Oak said the guy inside beast was blonde with Answer saying "no, it's brown, we just saw it" (still referring to Erwin's dad) lol.
Keith Shadis is a character that I relate a lot to. Bro was like " I'm not special, I'm just a side character, an Npc".
Keiths episode is one of my favourite frm the show
The opening as a whole is my personal favorite... Yes, I'm a sentimental person...
Levi: Erwin, stay here.
Erwin: No !
Levi: I SAID STAY HERE, I LOVE YOU !!
Erwin: IF YOU LOVE ME LET ME GOOOOOOOOOOO
i love watching you guys but hate waiting for another sunday, the content is so good
I freaking love shadis's episode, i realize that the msg they were going with is that everyone is already special just by existing and being loved by someone, that and the exact opposite , does anyone need to feel special in order to feel loved and achieve great things in life , but on a much less philosophical note , i guess what made team levi was more " special " then shadis is how well they can take a " losse " , not just one but a goddamn series of them , each one of them is obsessed with this job for a reason and they are willing to destroy their bodies , souls and hearts with loss after hit after failure in order to stay in it , that's what truly made them special not how much smarter , cooler , charismatic or stronger they are
oak hitting the scout salute mans built like he could use a single bat and take the nape off a titan
7:44 you guys are so funny lol this is why you are becoming my favorite reaction channel, its clear you guys care for this series so much
them talking during the intro never gets old lmao 🤣🤣, Bystander is like my top 3 favorite episode it's such a nice way to give exposition and fill in the gaps through a Bystander whom we have already known
Erwin's dad is dead, he was the teacher killed by the MPs.
The next Arc is insane. You guys are in for a ride.
they are on season 4
The cliffhanger of each AOT always keep me on edge. Just the awesomeness!!! Don’t know what to expect. But can’t wait to see y’all reaction after episode 12. Reaching to the new height 📈
Bystander is one of my favorite episode, because I can relate to that. I hope you can remember Keith, because he is a goat.
Levi also kicked Eren and Jean hard during their dinner fight, because he was angry that he couldn't convince Erwin to stay
Bertoto and Reiner looking ready in that scene 😮💨 peak is upon us 🙌🏾
About time for one of the greatest arcs in AoT, one roller coaster ride all the way through season end!
i feel like this is important to mention since its not really a spoiler its just some info that seems wasnt picked up on. whenever a titan dies they start to evaporate/produce steam and dissapear. titan blood is the same, you can see some characters get covered then it quickly evaporates. also if you rewatch that mid credits scene you can see hes still holding the injection in his hand before he hits eren out of the way.
This is one of the most Underrated episode of the whole show....
Where Keith drops the most important backstory after saying he's just a bystander
The Reveal of who tampered with his ODM gear, most of us didn't even remembered that at this point
And so so many hints and foreshadowing for what's the Truth and whats to comw
I think Keith thought he was special and could change something. Until he met Grisha, and then he began to fail in his profession, and he thought that the reason behind his failure was because Grisha cursed him. I think he thought he was special, and then Grisha cursed him and keith became an unspecial person, and thats why he said to Grisha (It was your fault) and (Are you going to curse someone else now?) like he did to keith
Keith really loved Carla and Erin remindes him of her and that's why he sabotaged his own equipment. He knew that Carla never wanted Erin to be part of the scouts. This is one of the reasons.
4:11 historia: "even the kids from the underground are smiling"
mason: "well they're in the sun"
LMAOOOO
I love the end credits IT IS CRAZYYYYY
I think the relationship between Carla and Dr. Jaeger was more than love, but simple practicality. Even if Carla had any feelings for Shaddis, being with him was probably never a possibility because he was a Scout. Dr. Jaeger was a lot more stable and wasn't risking his life everyday by going beyond the walls.
38:24 Oak playing a very risky game there.
Actually I Lurve it when Quinn & Oak talk about the into theme tune, become 1 of my fave things when watching these hehe 😄 & Lurved the poses you did at 7:41 & 27:25
Nooo! we have to wait another week! Love these guys reactions
I subscribed to your channel
Levi tried to convince Erwin. Because Erwin is like the only close friend Levi has now.
The next few weeks are going to be straight BANGERS boys! WE ARE HERE! 🙌
