some clever geezer with a Gretsch plays all the proper HARRY SON licks. It blew me away but Jim here with his ADADAS guitar is doing a good job. Thanks Jim.
Like the strumming acoustic sound of this Gibson model J200 something like that. Recently heard a lot of demo on Fender acoustasonic teletecater and I really wanted to tell these guys what the Fender miss is this kind of strumming sound heard from John Lennon J160E long long ago in 1962.
if you augment the fifth by a semitone...that's what it is...Augmented...if you augment the third you create a Sus(4)....flatten the 3rd and fifth and you create an Diminished...
like another excellent instructor says on his utube vids "i don't need to know the names I just need to know how to play them;" and you do Pete in spades!
it's a G+ on my method and I don't play it like you do but all good. G+...as in all B songs there's a always ONE chord that's going to give you a headache...an arm ache...a migraine.
Man you got me thinking about what that chord should be called, would have more than one name but the extra note is a sharp 5th or a minor sixth so it could be one of those maj/minor chords if I am correct, there are just 4 notes in the chord and thankfully not five which is enough for any non jazz specialist to pull out their hair, There is the root, the major third, the fifth in there already so I suppose it would have to be called a minor sixth. and it is not a dominant seventh cos no seventh is present. I would suggest thatbat this stage of the Beatles career the chord was actually suggested by George Martin who did have a good grasp of advanced theory, or maybe John just hit on it in a moment of inspiration. I prefer to call it THE George Martin special chord :)
plsease how it goes in right hand ? i mean up, donw .... i am total begginer and i cannot catch that, but really I loved to learn that song left hand is clear to me but that rytm ach :/ just sb write here DUDUDU or how it goes pls

great song, no matter what chords you use, as long as it sounds good to you. then , there the right chords. right pete?
The D7 sounds better using the C7 shape at the 3rd fret. I think that's how John played it.
Is your cover of this song more recent..........because you are using different chords.Trying to learn this song. Cheers.
