Thanks James ! One of the first Beatles songs I learned. You are right about learning their progression of songs to advance guitar skills. I learned alot by playing their albums over & over - especially 62 - 66 ,then their 67- 70 greatest hits albums .
I can’t remember what year it was but I bought “The Beatles Complete “ song books when they came out. This was my introduction to more than major/minor cords. My favorite to date is “Something “.
The Beatles Complete song books were by 4 Japanese guys and their interpretation of what was going on the records . a lot of it was not close at all. It was a marketing thing we all bought into. Now Mr. James Carson ( James James) knows whats really going on. The world is a better place with these lessons,
Man, even their early stuff had superb chord changes. When he switches to that Gminor he's in that key for that brief moment. Two of my favorite musical (devices?) they used was the minor 4 chord (like Am in the key of E) and the use of major 2 chords (what size call them lol.) For instance B7 in the key of A. Throw in that augmented G chord and WOW! Too cool....😉
He's right. In fact, it would make sense to learn the Beatles' material in chronological order. You can advance your guitar skills the same way the band did from album to album.
Finally a cat that can show instead of doing stand up comedy and taking 30 mins to show a song. I fucking love you
Beatles. John, Paul, George and Ringo. What luck we had for those four to find each other. Thanks man.
This happening was a Perfect feat from Karma, or whatever we call it, never to be duplicated
Excellent. I can never get enough Beatle lessons. Simplicity at its finest.
Hell of a tune JJ, thanks for the play-through! Always wanted to learn this one

Congrats on 100k subs!

I believe when asked how to learn guitar the fastest way, Joe Walsh said "Learn the Beatles"

Beatles songs have all the chords
Beatles chords are the best.
Guitar George, he knows all the chords
@@stonesdude154 guitar George was George Young from the Easybeats. He was also the older brother to Angus and Malcom young of AC/DC.
@@ledflaplin2001 I did not know that piece of history, thx.
The G aug seems to be John using his banjo shapes
Are those Flutie Flakes down there??
Absolutely.
The g augmented looked a little hairy for me, is your pointer on the high E ?
