I’d love to see more bounty missions, maybe an option as to how you play the game i.e. a lawman or an outlaw. Maybe you could play as a Pinkerton or as an old roughed up “feller” who is leaving the west and encounters the problems it arises. I think it would be good to see the actual tail end of the Wild West, give us a game that is spread over three years between the times of both games that came before, references to the gang will of course be there because of their notoriety.
Its gonna be about mac callander. They gave him enough room that he played a part in the gang but also kept him mysterious enough so rockstar can do their own thing with him when the time comes. The one you gonna get redemption now for is macs brother, the dead guy in the beginning of the game. I doubt they gonna kill off the main character again for the third time. And mac would've been involved in the blackwater heist so we will also finally get to see it.

Red Dead have often based a lot of the story on real events and characters on real people. I agree in a Native American story based on the Rufus Buck gang. A young gang with a mix of native and African Americans. They were also involved in some dark crimes like rape where the women died of their injuries. Having the protagonist see or even be aware of other members of his gang doing things like that could be the turning point in the redemption arc.

It's a stretch but maybe you can have a game set between 1914 and 1918/1919 and make it so that Jack eventually gets caught and his punishment for his outlawing is forced service, gets sent over to Europe in 1917 where he dies. Experience the the true death of the wild west.

Red dead revolver remade as an open world but with multiple playable character like gta v. Also expand the story with quest in rdr1 maps... by the way twin rocks is in new austin and maybe also red harlow's house
Honestly I want something that is kinda of new but still in the redemption universe I want rockstar to create good spinoffs exploring the stories of natives landon Ricketts and new characters in a rdr expanded universe and maybe even have these expanded universe characters run into a younger arthur or dutch or hosea but only briefly just enough to give us a taste of what they were like and using the red dead redemption name as just a name not a description to explore the rich lore of this universe
i wanna play as Dutch back before he found John and Arthur. the game would lead right up to the beginning of RDR2 and we would get to see what happened at Blackwater

Yeah I think you could be right, we also never get to see Mac die. Even though agent Milton claimed to kill him that could be bullshit.

RDR3 we play as Sadie on her trek southward to glory. A concurrent story in some way with RDR1 with the Other last survivor of the Gang.

RDR 2 but especially the first was all about the END of the Old American West however so it'd make sense!
