Have you ever wondered why someone would leave a perfectly high paying job, to switch to something that pays significantly lower? Do you ever think about why some folks give huge amounts to charity, while leaving only a smaller portion of their income for themselves? Or do, you wonder why all of a sudden, a close friend starts becoming all religious? Or, do you question why your colleague with a degree in engineering, starts waiting in restaurants?
In this video, we will cover the answers to these questions and many more, by studying the theory of motivation behind human behaviour.

Us in 3rd world countries find it hard to understand all the other tiers of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs because we are still trying to meet the basic minimum levels.

@@xavind As more and more African nations and communities go beyond those basic needs, the Western world will see Africa become a serious player in world politics. Fifty years will do it. What goes up must come down and vice versus.

What's wrong is thinking u have to fulfill all those needs in order from the bottom.
You can crave and therefore look for a specific need and when achieved all OTHERS comes to be satisfied.

Physical needs are necessary, but yes, I agree you can pass the other and don't believe there is a specific order to get to them.

So let me guess if the shtf the basic needs if compromised all will crumble down because the premise is that the basic needs are the foundation of the pyramid of heirarchy of needs?

the probability is high that Maslow's hierarchy is based on the common character traits of men only as he himself is a man and coincidentally, but instinctively suitable to the topic, only men are chosen as a visualized example.
oh, I'm so tired of men explaining male society to us while completely unscientifically leaving out half of the population ... Uhh, boring
