I just got the same thing few days ago. We might have to buy some anti cease. If your in winter location. Didn't even come with like instructions for how much to torque it down. Might have to look it up on Amazon.
The plates for my RC200T haven't arrive yet from the DMV. But I want one of these before they do. Because I know I will throw the 2nd plate in the trunk. But then worry about it when ever I see a 🐷 in traffic. FUCK FRONT PLATES!!! LONG LIVE THE RESISTANCE!!!
Move to southern US states like NC, TN, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, LA and no one will bother you not having a front license plate.

I have a kit that looks exactly like this installed in my car I got for about 30 ish bucks on eBay but took forever to come. It's dumb to spend anything more than 50 for a plate holder. The only problem with that kit is, if someone hits your license plate, it will get bent because the back plate is too small for the license plate. Putting a plastic frame on your plate will make it less prone to bending.
I can’t find one for my 2023 Acura Integra. Is that universal or is it only for a specific car model?

does the plate relocator tilt or swivel left and right? i really want one that does so that the plate is less likely to touch the bumper but they get pricey when i tried looking for one with that function

You ever get heat for having it on the left hand side though?? We drive on the right hand side and therefore an opposing cop would possibly need to scan your plate.

It's unusual for me to see a car without license plate in front as in whole of Europe all cars need to have front and back plate. This is why also car manufacturers mount plate holders by default.
I'm surprised at how easy that was. Have you seen the video on the retracting system? Pops up when you drive, stows away for meets and stuff.

If I don't mind how it looks, is there anything wrong (mechanically speaking) with zip tying it to the bottom left corner of my FR-S grill, for example will I cause the car to overheat?

I doubt it'll overheat, it will reduxe airflow if your bot bouncing off tge limiter all day i think youll be fine
I zip tied mine to the front grill and it hasn't caused any issues with over heating or anything of the sort and you know what... its FREE :)
What about cold Midwest winters....will the zip ties crack/break? If so, you may risk losing your front plate.
@@etinney1 I live in NY and have zip ties on my front plate.No problems.But check frequently for security and change every 6 months just to be safe.Especially after an extremely cold winter and unusually hot summer.Cant hurt.

Maybe try it on the last side hole on the relocation plate so your license plate will be blocking the nice grill it a thought.

@@etinney1 shout outs to the Minis in Illinois. Moved from Illinois but used the same kit for my r56 when I still lived there. It's perfectly legal. Asked multiple officers.
I got the exact same relocator, and after a couple hundred miles, the screw holding the frame was getting loose. I was thinking to add some grease to the it. Do you have that sort of problem?

Yeah I just bout the the same product but for 20.00 from Amazon as well. I got pulled over this Sunday for going a bit over the speed limit but since it's my first time they cut me a break but gave me a fix it ticket for not having a front plate as well but I think it looks nice
I mean if you have to put a front plate on by law this is probably the best way to do it? no holes in the bumper that weren't there from the factory

$40 bucks?! Holy shit! You got ripped off, homie. Since 2016 they could be found for around $11 bucks which is what I paid for mine last year. When I went shopping for one Amazon had them for $29 bucks on the high end and $15 on the low end. I got mine on eBay for $11 bucks with free shipping. I kept mine on and driving without one is just asking for trouble.
