I have had the 2.0T accord now for just over 2yrs, and the pairing of the engine to the 10speed, never ceases to amaze. A match made in heaven!!
Absolutely. I’ve had the last two generations of the civic Si and I traded in my 2019 Si for a 2020 Accord Sport and man it is such a refined car. Already have it tuned with phaerable stage 3 and good lord it’s quick even with the shitty tires I got it with. Amazing car.
I thought I would regret getting a automatic because of driving stick for 14 years. But damn the 10 speed auto is sooo slick and smart especially when your in sport mode it almost feels like a manual with how it downshifts.
that accord 2.0t is a monster.
And it’s not even tuned yet, imagine if a kid had this car along with a laptop. He could probably squeeze out another 50 HP.

Yeah, power to weigh ratio. The Accord is 200kg lighter than the Stinger (and others) but with the same power.

The service history is also completely unknown after about 20 000km. For comparison, a friend of mine has a KTM Duke 125 that had the check engine light turn on after just 6 000km and every service done at a shop. Safe to say that they make bulletproof stuff.
They do have a problem there but not like Mopar lmao or Ford.
Just bought a '20 Accord Touring 2.0T 3 days ago. I am so impressed! Have driven nothing but V6 Hondas and Acuras since '02. Was quite uncertain about going back to a 4 cylinder engine. Ultimately in a year or so, I do plan to get back into a Acura, specifically a TLX Type S with the turbo V6.

I have the 2.0L in the Accord sport. I think the move to the I4 Turbo was the right one at the right time. The Camry V6 really lacks low end torque which is the problem with NA power plants. The Accord makes its peak torque at like 1500rpm and the Camry makes it at like 4700rpm

The traction control really hurt that Camry off the line and into 2nd. If you're going to do acceleration tests from a stop, why not turn of the TCSs? Otherwise, cool vid! Than you. I enjoy these.
I suspect it would only result in more wheelspin and not necessarily forward motion
@@captainjack6890 Depends greatly on the surface, but in this case, my familiarity with the platform would say otherwise. Even in a high slip situation, an attentive and skilled driver can modulate the throttle for the best acceleration. TL(it was)DR: I do think it would have made a difference. ;)

I know it's worth 30 large for the 2.0T at minimum.
Based on the cabin noise I will take the Camry. It's fast enough for my needs and based on reliability history once again the Toyota. Lastly I prefer a bigger less stressed engine than a smaller tweaked out engine. Someone told me many years ago that if you want a car that will last 200k miles buy a Honda. If you want a car that will last 300k plus miles buy a Toyota. Having owned both I can tell you that this is true.
If your buying a brand new car what is the point in caring about 200k and 300k.
Most people will sell the car long before that.
Besides why buy into the Toyota market when they are boring. Buy the Honda to keep the market interesting don't kill out all the competition. Toyota's lack all form of character.
I'd buy the funner car that will get me 200k over the boring car that will get me 300k. As you do realise how many hours of your life it takes to reach that much km. At least make it worth the time.
@@ChristopherWhite-yg4hh everyone has different priorities. I drive a lot and keep my cars well over 300k. If you don't drive as much and sell often then yeah I agree go with the short term deal. For my needs that wouldn't work.
@@ManCaveStudio I drive allot hence why I'd buy a car that I enjoy being in. And to reach 200k would take years to reach which is allot of Driving hence I might as well enjoy that time. And it's plenty of time to have saved up for a new car after selling if I do ever sell.
And I don't know what they do in your country but where I live it's smart to lease a car. So you pay for fuel when you buy it then they give you a card. You use the card to pay for fuel hence it's beneficial to drive allot. They also pay for any repairs or worn out tires. After a few years you can buy the car outright for very very cheap.

I have a question. Why the Altima instead of the Maxima? The Maxima, Camry, and the Accord have always been in the same category. The Altima was always smaller and Less powerful. In same class as the Corolla and the Civic. Is the Altima now considered to be in the category of the Camry and the Accord? If so then what category is the Maxima in now and when did this change? Just curious. I own a 2021 Accord EX-L Hybrid and i love it. It does have the 2.0 along with the electric. I saw where someone said something about the Altima and one gear. Is that the same as the ECVT in my Accord? Just read replys on the one gear comment. So it is a CVT.
You’re actually wrong about the Altima being smaller. The Altima has always been in the Midsize Sedan segment, alongside the accord. Always been a direct competitor. The Maxima is in the Full Size Sedan segment, which has mostly been vacated by a lot of brands. It’s competitors are the Toyota Avalon, and pretty much only that. Other full size sedans are the Chrysler 300/Dodger Charger, but those are different since they’re rear drive. Ford had the Taurus. That too was a competitor.
Nissan has run CVT transmissions since the mid to late 2000s. They’re switching out of them in some of their models. Honda runs a CVT paired with the 1.5t. Hope that answers your questions.
@Self Made Auto um no you are wrong

@@mikehigby7897 how so? They still offer multiple different k series engines in their line up. Now they just offer some turbo'd as well. What's different might I ask?
Why didn't you test the stinger gt2 for with 365hp ?
not in the same class power and price wise. that car is meant to take on bmw m340i
Never mess with a Honda 😉
It’s interesting to watch the Nissan run right to redline and hold there while the cvt does it’s thing. It’s like watching my snowmobile accelerate.
I remember reading about this “new” transmission type back in the early 90’s. And this is my first time seeing an actual pedal to the metal type of acceleration. And I agree with, very weird to see it.
Imagine if it was a turbocharged engine. You could lock the cvt in on peak power or torque depending on the need.
Moment of silence for those who bought a stinger thinking they fast (besides those who mod them)
Stinger comes with a 4 cylinder and a v6 option. In the video it’s the 4 cylinder, but the v6 model is decently fast, it smokes the v8 chargers in drag races.
@@imtalksik7016 oh shi you're right
And this video is very misleading because even the 2.0T has a 0-60mph time of 5.9 seconds, I use to have one & actually just traded it in Wednesday.
@@JustinPennito Did you go to the faster Stinger ?
@@imtalksik7016 this comment is dumb as yourself. Any car can literally gap a Charger/Challenger no matter if it's V6 or V8.
What type of Altima Gearbox ?😯
The Kia stinger GT does 0-60 in 4.5sec why buy the four cylinder when the 6 has better tech, performance, and looks better
Because that stinger far exceeds the cost of the other cars in the comparison
I think you forgot that money is a factor for some people
just go for a rs7 or a panamera while you're at it, it has everything better than both of these 🤣
@@metalogic1580 that’s ignorant to compare a car worth $100k to these cars that are $30k or less
@@metalogic1580 and the RS7 and Porsche have way worse reliability, worse technology, worse cost of maintenance, and the only thing the car has over these is simply performance
I love my 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T.
Honda is the GOAT
Camry is good enough to be used as a cab. That's all. No wonder theirs sales are high
Nissan actually has a button on the gear when you push it accelerates really good. Most of this kind of videos they don’t push it.i can tell they didn’t push it because when it’s pushed there is a light showing on the screen
Sport mode
It's only for 2.5L and that's to cancel overdrive gear range. It's not available on 3.5L models. But this was driven on D and not Ds.
How does the rpm needle stay in one spot in the Altima ?
Cvt transmission
junk pos cvt
Shitbox CVT
Based on this video Stinger drives the smoothest.
For sure! And the 3.3L dual Turbo can do 0-100km in 3 seconds

It is and it has laminated glass standard . You aren’t going to feel as safe driving at these speeds in those other 3 cars.
I got a Honda Accord sport 1.5 and love it!
DOHC I-VTEC y’all...surprised how lousy the Stinger did tho 👎🏾🚮🤷🏾♂️
The 2.0t stinger is alright in terms of performance..too heavy for only 255 hp. The VERY cool thing about them that the other don't get is RWD/AWD options...
I'm pretty sure that for 2022 Kia will upgrade the power on the Stinger...it will get the 2.5t making 300 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque keeping RWD/AWD...
The Accord 2.0t is the quickest still BUT take a look at the temperatures:
86F for the Altima 6.4s
80F for the Camry 6.7s
51F for the Accord 6.0s
71F for the Stinger 6.7s
Temps affect performance...the Accord has a temp advantage of 30F.

The twin turbo v6 is no joke...
Im just waiting for end of year for the base stinger to get the 2.5t engine... that will definitely make faster...and, like I said, with RWD/ AWD unlike the others...
@@M4B21S88 yes but not that much!
Mind you the Kia Stinger being compared here is the *BASE* model while it's competitors are their top trim. The Stinger base model has 255 HP. The Stinger top trim has 365 HP.
How do I know this? Because when I test drove the Kia Stinger, the salesman tried to sell me. He failed. I got a Honda.
Honda is always the best!
Why was the Honda the only car that was used in manual mode ?
In my experience my 2.0 accord seems to be faster than 6 flat. Altitude could play a role though
What is your experience ?
It’s way faster than 6 seconds.
It’s around 5.5 seconds
@@carreelcrazy maybe on average but i've seen 5.0, 5.3 (my personal best) and 5.4
Miss the V6 accord!
The accord is the fastest as expected
the stinger was the base model 2.0Turbo. the accord was top trim 3.5v6 na......... the stinger top trim comes with a 3.3 twin turbo which is almost twice as fast/powerfull as the 2.0T..........
in other words Kia stinger won hands down no competition.
@@michaelxcx the accord was the 2.0T mate
@@marklion315 doesn't matter. the 3.3 twin turbo in the Kia stinger which was not tested here makes nearly double the power compared to the other cars tested.
Kia stinger is almost twice as fast with the 3.3 twin turbo then the base 2.0T. Kia wins hands down again.
How about the Altima with VC-TURBO 2.0L ?
that accord has more, the best ive seen was 5.20 on the 2.0 Turbo.
