Great tune! Rhythmically complex and slippery. Beautiful journey through the arrangement. And amazing playing from all three. Really hope they come back to New York.
Miyu sometimes reminds me of the great German electric fusion bassist Eberhard Weber. Also a bit of Steve Swallow. Anyone unfamiliar with either should check them out. I assure you it's high praise, and well deserved.
They all do a magnificent job on this one. I especially love the bass. The variety of techniques displayed are impressive! The ending of this song is one of my favorite Asterism moments.

@@jonasw3945 No, she hasn't. Until quite recently, she always smiled and made kooky faces at the audience, or camera. Now she almost looks poker-faced. I miss the old Hal-ca.
@@liamoconnor2429 go look at her in 2015 when they just started or in all their older studio live stuff, she always was like that. Look at a lot of their Hard Rock Café live stuff, that how she always been with some slight exceptions. Don't make it a "miss old Hal-ca thing" when that's how she always been. Back then she was a child, she went through her teenage years and is now a young adult, people obviously change through that phase of their life. You say she "smiled with audience" yeah that's your answer here, "audience" since the pandemic they never had a real one and whenever they had it you can see her smille and talk to them, when you play and have to be restricted and not go near the audience or hype them up for covid nonesense you wouldn't really be as excited or happy would you ? I cringe whenever I see these "miss old Hal-ca" comment, people seeking some fake nostalgia, the band literally hasn't even been for that long lol, they are literally just starting and people somehow want to make it as if they changed or whatever. Just chill out, whenever they would do a USA tour with no nonesense restriction you'll have you "old Hal-ca" lol Musically they are getting better and better, and as people they all seem geniune and nice humble people and that's all that matters for me
@@liamoconnor2429 I've noticed this, too. Maybe it's because she's getting older, but she is definitely changing the way she acts when she plays. She always used to do those great faces, even when there wasn't an audience.
