I'm only a few thousand battles into wot, over about 2 years. I find random battles to be aids, and would love to try clan stuff but don't even know how lol. Any advice? I highly doubt I have impressive stats, or a ton of tanks to use (tier X especially), but again random battles seem hopeless most of the time as there's no strategy (the main thing I like warfare for). Any advice on getting into it, or a potential carry one day? Been enjoying your videos, btw and looking forward to these.
Honestly the best way to find a clan you fit with is to try to legionnaire. That way you can find a group you fit with. In garage, top of screen, go to the right of the battle button (will say random battle), and select strongholds. They only happen late afternoon, but you can find a team with open spots and see if you find a group you fit in with. Then you can go from there! Glad you’re enjoying the videos, best of luck!
@@Indoorwinner Accidentally stumbled across this after watching the recent installment in the series, and man how the times have changed lol. In a clan, skirms have actually helped me enjoy the game for once (the battlepass sure didnt), it's so nice to play with strategy after playing 6k random battles LOL. I've learned a ton from my pretty 'just decent' clan, my last 1000 battles is looking great and my win8/WTR are up 20% or more and climbing. I still hate the game.... but that'll probably never change lol especially now that I got Aslains/XVM this weekend and can see how insanely unbalanced games with 7k Win8 cheiftain games are when the highest player on MY team is like 2500 Win8... oof and don't get me started on personal reserves tanking matchmaking 🤣 As always, thanks for the content! I believe my clan will let me call some battles if I get better with these videos, tier 6 is much more reflex calling though since every tank goes 50kmh - I'm pretty good at calling when I'm dead (but aren't we all....)

As one of the higher stat players (as far as I’m aware), I can tell you that it’s all about your personal impact on each battle that determines the chance to win. But yes, chieftains suck :)
