I remember seeing that exact divine rivals 1 star and being so confused by the “they have elevators but use typewriters” comment. … lifts were created in the early 1900s. Yes. There was a long time where elevators and typewriters existed concurrently without computers. And the whole “they’re at war like it’s WW1”. Wasn’t that a whole point made in the book? Like there are valid criticisms but those weren’t them.
100 percent agree - this is my main annoyance with Feyre (acotar) well - that and her constant moody whining - anyway - she is this mortal 19-year-old who knows nothing about Faries and now all of a sudden, she thinks she knows more than 500-year-old fairies who have been in this life for centuries - yea right!!!! and oh yes - just finished Divine Rivals - very good!
The Once Upon A Broken Heart series was so whimsical😭❤
And magical and everything right with the genres 😍
My jaw drops every time people tell me they skip ahead in books.
Yes I felt the same with her!

Yes! Thank you! I started to piece all that together while editing and it was really annoying me so I’m SO glad that you see it too 😅
