You had me cracking up!!! Literally laughing out loud, especially about the splatter punk 😂. Thank you for this !

Your reactions to bad books are hilarious 😂 a lot of UA-camrs won't be honest when a book is bad but your honesty is much appreciated! And funny!

I feel so validated by your review of Hide. Also can we just acknowledge how much it just feels like a lazy remake of Cabin in the Woods with a lot less charm?

I think that deciding if an author is for you or not is an important distinction to be able to make when it comes to disliking books. There are definitely books written by authors that I love which I just did not care about or sometimes didn't even finish because the book itself was bland or the content wasn't what I was looking for at the time I read it.

    Chronic DNFer checking in.
There is one on so many peoples lists and I undeniably, CATEGORICALLY hated it! I was cursing out my ipad as I tried to force myself to finish it. Dont even want to remember the name off the top of my head.

I feel you on atmospheric books where nothing happens. Your description of Walking Practice makes me want to pick it up. I never read Splatter Punk. 200 pages in and you DNF, I gotta know why.

i'm so glad i read the reviews for 'walking practice' first because the fact that isn't listed as "splatterpunk" anywhere is HORRIBLE marketing. i feel bad for the writer because this is translated work and i don't think the author knows his work is being mis-marketed. MARKETING MATTERS!!!

Lee Child & Douglas Preston Pendergast series is who Riley Sager is to you. Loved the first..4 to 5 of the series and then some books didn't hit just as hard w me as the first several. Still enjoyed and had fun, but I had to refocus more often during some books and hardly much for others. But despite this, I love Pendergast and as southern sass. Love D'Agosta and his ..frank sass. Love love this series.

@@whereismylibrarycard pls do. I think they're a great thriller series and at the beginning, it was easy bc I didn't have to wonder what next book to get (bf discovering the book side of social media). I just get the next installment. Unfortunately, now I am all caught, forced to wait until the next book is published. Anyways, have a fantastic weekend!
