You should be producing adds for Rolex! Brilliant! I had admired the submariner for 35 years, date and no, but never thought I would own one. Summer 2019 my wife and I went into the AD in Carmel on our anniversary just to look and admire. One of these 114060’s appeared and my wife said “it’s time you’ve waited long enough”. Beautiful watch, amazing wife. Both are keepers!
My Pleasure ! PURE TRUTH !! Watching one of your vids. makes me want to book a flight to Milan lol, btw I'm a Rolex owner myself. Half Gold Submariner and a Stainless Sub too
My very first luxury watch and never regretted getting it. I would say the best decision I made, walked in and walked out of Rolex boutique with this beauty on my birthday. Great video by the way, watches x Europe, heritage x heritage, what I love the most. Thumbs up.
Oisin, I recently had a bout with Cancer and I am through the worst of it. I still have radiation to deal with a few months from now. In the time I have been going through the diagnosis the surgery, and after the surgery I have been watching these videos and they are one of the things I have been using to cope with this strange time in my life. They take my mind off of this 20 - 30 minutes at a time. It also made me realize that since I enjoy these videos so much to go see a Rolex AD and talk to them about a Rolex. I went to a local AD, and spoke with them for an hour or so about Tudors and Rolexes. I asked if I could put my name on the list for a Rolex. We decided on the no date Submariner as the Cornerstone and first piece of what will hopefully be a two to three piece collection in time. I wanted the Submariner no date because of the symmetry, the handsomeness and the legacy. I also feel that is what you would have recommended to me if you knew me. Thanks again for making this content and sharing your watches with us. I just want you to know that they have helped in a very hard time and brought some much needed distraction.

Tommy, if I have had anything to do with getting you through those long, hard moments with what you’re dealing with, I am deeply moved. Thanks for sharing this and I sincerely hope you get that watch. Let me know about your progress with that and with your winning fight for good health! - Oisin 😎
Oisín, you have no idea how I love watches, but the way you introduce them and specially ……. The best sound you give for the views …. Speechless… that version of Ave Maria crystallized my soul…….. thank you so much! Muchas gracias desde la República independiente de Toluca, MEXICO. José Ramón Rosales Sánchez.
Don't have the money, and never will, but what a choice of watches and beautifully filmed and the themed music is awesome. Thank you so much for another incredible video Sir, and oh yes the most I could afford in my retirement was a Tudor Black Bay Bronze grey edition LOL but hey it makes me happy 👍 Tam.
B. I like the Explorer 39 mm and I am saving up to it. It will take me aprox 5 years, But man, that day in 5 years when I walk in to the Rolex store👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This video is amazing. I recently got a call from an AD after a 3 year wait and I now own the this watch and love this video. Could this be the only watch you ever need. A tool watch capable of every day wear and yet still sparkles enough to wear as a dress watch out in the evening . The slimmed down lugs definitely give it a more slender profile and it looks slimmer than the previous maxi case. The 70 hour power reserve completes the package. Perfect. Great review. Thanks for your amazing content.
The Timeless Watch Channel Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. Looking forward to watching more of your content in 2020.....cheers my friend!
Back in January 2017, I purchased the 114060 before all this crazy hype. My AD even had a Hulk on display. Do I regret my decision in not getting the Hulk? The accountant in me says yes, absolutely. The sensible side of me says just appreciate the fact that it's extremely versatile and you can wear it in just about any occasion, such as a wedding or job interview or even going to the beach. I must lean towards my sensible side or I'll go bonkers.
This is a serious superlative media production, worthy of a contract on digital TV for sure, "are you listening Quest or BLAZE? Bar very little I cant fault this work its truly superlative at all levels and angles. This is a serious slick act that deserves considerable note. The question is monetizing this network to keep it going until it gains full exposure. Obvious with any question a worthy cause. avpg.
This is the kind of content that makes your channel great. Excellent camera work in all of your vids. It’s obvious you put a lot of time in production and attention to the details.
Wow! Now my favorite video you have done. Bit of history, culture, watches and drinking plus beautifully filmed. really enjoyed it. Recently passed on the Sub while waiting for an Explorer. Wish i didn't. Luckily, i talked my apprehensive dad into buying it. Two weeks later my AD called me with an Explorer. Now my dad, loves his watch, and i are very happy. Another plus, he told me i could "borrow" his Sub when ever I wanted.
Magnifico!!!!! I am heartbroken each time one of your videos ends. So, of course, I watch them a few times. Another gem! Please don't run out of watches, I am hooked...
Another mesmerising video. I know it’s a watch channel but I like the interaction that you and the watch have with the city’s that you visit. For me that’s what’s making your videos the most interesting. Watch’s and culture what’s not to like! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Years.
I have been enjoying your videos for a while now, but this one set a new bar. I came for the watch, but stayed for the tour and the music. Brilliant job here, please keep it up!
TWC. Beautiful video !! My grandfather fought in the 8th Alpine regiment in WW1 in those very mountains. He told us pretty harrowing experiences he endured and the thing that moved him was that the river under the wooden bridge was pink for days with the blood of the fallen.
Don't ever change this format,,, lol.. absolutely brilliant,, thank you so much for all you've done this year, and can't wait for all the content to come in the future ,,, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year,,

I really learn a lot watching your travelogues. What a charming town that is, and then you learn the tragedy of their corner of the WWI story. Poignant. Also I have noticed all the conviviality in your work and it just makes the situation today all the more stark. Hope you are continuing to be ok man.
Already watched this video once or twice, already own the watch, but yet here I am watching this video... because it's that good! I first watched this video back in December 2019 after putting myself on the "list" for a 114060. Only took about 5.5 months to get it... Outstanding watch. I came for information on Italy and stayed for the watches. You capture the essence of Italy. I grieve for the pain the Italian people must be feeling. Stay well, my friend.
The Sub ‘no date’ contrade including myself raise a glass! It is the perfect 1 watch collection piece. Simple, pure, a devastating Thoroughbred. Forget James Cameron led Rolex ads...you should be hired to do their ads!... beautiful and touching (that’s just the cocktails). Wonderful work.
If you continue making videos of this calibre, Rolex and the Italian cities you visit will be obliged to pay YOU for the free publicity ! Simply phenomenal videos !
I started watching your channel for the watches, i now find them a incovence as i just love the scenery, history and music. Talking of music I've now started listening to Mrnorth as well🤣
Once again a fantastic video encompassing everything I love ; travel and watches . The scenery is stunning . Looking forward to seeing loads more of this type of content in 2020 👍
Again another explosion of creativity and pure passion and love of travel, wine , history and.....not to forget watches. Great stuff. really great stuff and you are just able to find that music that glues everything together. The moment you have reviewed your hole watch collection just keep making videos without them. That would also be huge and it is very motivational to experience. Thanks Mr Soren / Copenhagen

Oisin, I’ve watched this several times usually casting it to my tv. In these times of lockdown I find it like taking a journey, a 25 minute weekend away from the hum drum. Thank you, eagerly awaiting your next masterpiece ☘️
Just an awesome video..your best so far I reckon. Love the way you put some emotional engagement and atmosphere into the videos rather than just a "technical review with an opinion" like pretty much every other watch channel on here. Your on another level.

Wonderful ... Your efforts (and selfless alcohol intake ) on our behalf are much appreciated :) Beautiful images fella... You have skills and a lovely watch there.
I am moved to say. This latest one has simply blown me away my good man. You know I got into your channel for the watches to begin with, that was the hook, and whilst I love kettles, what you have done here transcends the mere horological, this reaches to the heights of art, culture, beauty, sensuality, history and the rhapsody of the human comedy and human tragedy and the metaphysical splendor and majesty of human life. It's absolutely wonderful, beautiful and profoundly moving. I don't mean to hyperbolize, but I think you have the best channel on the whole of UA-cam. Plus, you come over as such a lovely person; warm, and funny, self-deprecating, down to Earth and with an inmate intelligence and a keen sense of what makes life worth living, the ineffable. Alloyed with being a gifted, engaging and compelling raconteur and companion. With an eye for beauty and the aesthetic and a palpable joie de vivre. And best of all you seem to do it for the sheer hell of it! You know, I grew up idolizing people like Alan Whicker and Kenneth Clark and It's no exaggeration to say that as a presenter I think you've got what it takes, and the raw chops to mix it with that pantheon. I also have the sense that there is far more hinterland than you let on. I think you're gonna' be a star my friend. Keep it up, forza and Viva Italia!

The Timeless Watch Channel Thanks man. And likewise, my little baby boy is in Cape Town. He's only two and I haven't seen him for almost five months. Terrible problems with his mother. But I am hoping to get down there early in the NY. Via delivering some vintage watches as it happens, anything so as I can kiss & cuddle him. I meant what I said though. You have charisma & taste in spades. Merry Xmas man. 🎅🏿

8:24 - if you like that, and you are in London, you may wish to sample Restaurante Gustoso, in Wilton Street, near Victoria (scooter in window too). Also, ''Scootercaffe'' in Lower Marsh (road) near Waterloo station. I would have posted links but I don't think UA-cam permits it. Thanks a lot - great channel!
Great video,my 114060 is due in March for my birthday but for now I’ll just have to make do with the cocktails 🍹😉 have a great Christmas & I look forward to the next 1. 👏🏻👏🏻
Your best video... been watching (all, yet no, puns intended) since the beginning. This, brother, is where and what you should move forward on... mix the watches with "Life" (as you've done here in this video) because after all that is where a watch resides in the real world ~ amongst Life. Beautiful job on this one. ❤️🙏🏼❤️ Intended or not, you have potentially stumbled across what may just set your channel apart... well done. PS→ the final part of the video (the Sub shot around town, river, etc) ~ Rolex themselves could only hope to have had a 32.3% compelling, let alone beautifully profound, advertisment as what you've done here. 👊🏼✊🏾👊🏼👍👍
Fantastic video. Really love the simplicity and style of the Rolex Submariner. Lovely tour of Bassano del Grappa, I have been a few times to visit my Aunt and I could see her house in the last seconds of the film. Great memories of Italy.
I'm rewatching all your videos that I used to watch with my wife Samantha before she passed. I've noticed that I put a like at the time on every single one that I remember her commenting positively on.. she used to love your camera work for the scenery and music. She also mentioned your accent (and something about the size of your hands. Not sure what she meant by that?) On her last night she'd asked me to please take care of her children. But she was also watching some of your videos. Before bed, She told me if I ever get a chance to get a Rolex to get one and consider it from her and she wished she could get one for me but she didn't feel she had the time. Maybe someday...about three hours later she sat up in bed told me to help her stand said she had to go to the washroom. She put her arms around me. Looked in my eyes told me she loved me and then she just dropped. I managed to get her heart beating and breathing, when the ambulance came they told me I had done everything I possibly could. A bit later I got the phone call she was gone, they wouldn't let me go with her. It's been almost a year now. I was telling her daughter that if we ever get our finances in order and fill her mother's wish with that Rolex like she said to remind me that time is precious. Sorry for rambling. Like with most stories this one started with a few drinks..
Oisin your channel is utterly brilliant mate. 'Sometimes I wonder if it's even a watch channel at all, I don't know'. This and your absolutely beautiful Verona piece are probably my favourites. You inspired me to get a 114060 pal. BELLISSIMO.
Just watched this one again it’s still great 👍🏻 but wow who would of thought what was just around the corner with lockdown & stuff crazy! stay safe & let’s look forward to getting back to enjoying life again 🥃🍹🍻👌

This was one of the first vids I have seen on your channel. I Love this video, the music and editing. It was like a «travel blog» with a deep love for the city. I forgot about the watch, and in the end I remembered again why i pushed the thumbnail, because of my favorite watch. Thanx a lot. I miss Italy. This was great work.
Love all of your videos ... i‘m a fan of Italy in general and also of the north. And the best thing is... i got the call from my austrian AD , that my 114060 is ready for me🤩. I think i get a drink at home while unboxing it at home. Greetings from Austrian 🇦🇹!

Congrats Dominic! I am due for a visit to Austria soon!
It’s a beauty and a keeper. Nice review. Just can’t get used to the symmetrical dial but I can see the atttaction of a set and forget configuration. Date complications and the asymmetry they present have long been a divisive addition to a dial and will long continue to be. We all have things we like and dislike about watch designs. I don’t like incomplete numerals eaten by sub dials or brand logos permanently hiding behind a static chrono second hand unless it’s running which is exceptionally rare. But then again I seem oddly drawn to the Breitling Navitimer which is bizarre as I used to really dislike them. Strange how our tastes can slowly evolve over time. Best wishes for the new decade and cheers for the time and passion you put into your content. 🍷🎄
Your videos are a true pleasure to watch. Growing up in Veneto you make me feel so homesick! Bassano is one of my favourite towns, you should also try Asolo, Treviso, Marostica.
I fear you’d drink me under the table. I like the Chardonnay Grappas. They’re much smoother. My grandfather was trained as un Alpino. But was sent to North Africa and took part in the Ethiopian campaign/slaughter. Great video, thank you!👍🏼
Only just found your channel and have to say it's becoming one of my favourites. The watch content is great and everything else that come with it, especially in videos like this, is incredible. Ready to binge watch them all 😁

Such kind words, my friend. Can't really respond other than to say a very humble thank you. Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!
@@scherzandokarasu6353 Good luck with your baby boy. I actually know how that shit can be, my friend. And especially hard over the holidays.
The Timeless Watch Channel His Mother was diagnosed with stage-4 cancer 18 months ago. And the hormonal therapies sent her round the fucking twist. She became intolerable. Nightmare. None of which helps our little guy Lucia. But yeah I imagine you've seen a lot of what life can throw at you. Thanks for the moral support. Father Xmas is bringing him some lovely gear. He's obsessed with being a Fireman! : )
Love the videos and the watch collection. No date sub is one of my favourites.
You have the best job in the world..! Wonderful video. Amazing city and this bar… Just bought a 9.9/10 114060. Best Sub value for money in 2023.
Fantastic video. Loved the background operatic music and variety of the filming. That cocktail bar was amazing!
That place is great! You should go!!
Wow! This is the 2nd time I’ve watched this video. Might have to watch it again, that scenery, the music, the cocktail bar and watch. Just fantastic 👍
Thanks Kevin. If you like this one, you might also like the ones in Padova, Siena and Venice. Check them out. Thanks for watching!
Intended or not, you have potentially stumbled across what may just set your channel apart... well done.
PS→ the final part of the video (the Sub shot around town, river, etc) ~ Rolex themselves could only hope to have had a 32.3% compelling, let alone beautifully profound, advertisment as what you've done here. 👊🏼✊🏾👊🏼👍👍
Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!
I've been looking at the GMT for awhile, but this Sub without Date is absolutely Brillant!
Fantastic video.
Really love the simplicity and style of the Rolex Submariner.
Lovely tour of Bassano del Grappa,
I have been a few times to visit my Aunt and I could see her house in the last seconds of the film.
Great memories of Italy.
Best video yet! My roommate from college is from Padua, we’ll be visiting him soon. I’ll hit you up when we’re in the area!
awesome!
I have this model and i became considering to sell it for no special reason but after this video i will definitely keep it 👌thx
BELLISSIMO.
Thanks man. Enjoy your 114060 if you do get it!
Love the look of that cocktail bar, this city is added to the list to go to with the wife. Love it. Thanks for another great video.
Just watched this one again it’s still great 👍🏻 but wow who would of thought what was just around the corner with lockdown & stuff crazy! stay safe & let’s look forward to getting back to enjoying life again 🥃🍹🍻👌
Thank you for this video and for this channel! Just love the fact that you put together the art and the cities that i love and where i live with watches! Never imagined to find a channel like this🥂🍷
That make two of us!!! Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!
Great video as ever and your choice of music is great. I loved the jazz reflecting your ever decreasing level of consciousness in that amazing cocktail laboratory 😆 great watch, great location, great chat, keep up the natural content my friend, it works 👏🏼😎
Thanks so much!
Love how you integrate the beautiful surroundings contrasting the old town with the modern technology, also love the musical score. great job mate!
My favourite watch on my new favourite watch channel. Thank you
Thanks for watching. Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!
This is my favourite video on this channel. I'd be just as enthralled if you hadn't even mentioned the watch! Pure escapism
Great video. Thank you for bringing us along for a tour of Bassano! Great job. 👍
Cheers!!
Love your video when you walk around and shows us around at where you live. I enjoyed it.
This video is absolutely amazing. Well done.
the Epster The Navitimer looks nice but the busy dial makes my eyes sore.
Blown away by your reviewing style.
Cheers. man!!! Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!
@ thanks! Merry Christmas to you and yours too!
Thank you for inviting us in your world...superb video once again.
Your videos are a true pleasure to watch. Growing up in Veneto you make me feel so homesick! Bassano is one of my favourite towns, you should also try Asolo, Treviso, Marostica.
Asolo!!
Back to what you do best, great videos. Cheers David
I fear you’d drink me under the table. I like the Chardonnay Grappas. They’re much smoother. My grandfather was trained as un Alpino. But was sent to North Africa and took part in the Ethiopian campaign/slaughter. Great video, thank you!👍🏼
What an incredible representation of a watch that was use for that purpose; for battle.
Beautiful music, staging, photography and content.... as always. Your videos are always a welcome respite. Merry Christmas!
Only just found your channel and have to say it's becoming one of my favourites. The watch content is great and everything else that come with it, especially in videos like this, is incredible. Ready to binge watch them all 😁
Thanks James! And Welcome!
I really loved this video. It brought a tear to my eye, seeing life before COVID, where everyone was so carefree and enjoying life as they should. The music selections were wonderful and the bar scene is hilarious. Cheers to you, and may life return to normal soon!
Best video I’ve watched !!! Nice virtual tour
Apologies for sounding so bloody sycophantic - but you really do produce the very best watch videos in all of UA-cam land.......
