@ side note, not sure if you’ve even mentioned this, but if you dig Nautical fantasy, I’d highly recommend omens R.J. Barker’s Tide Child trilogy. Absolutely brilliant.
Very surprised that Stephen Donaldson's Thomas Covenant series (three trilogies) wasn't in your top ten! I've read lots of fantasy books, Covenant is the only set that comes close to Tolkien in depth of world building, back history, different races that inhabit The Land, and the intensity of the Quest. And so much more!
Loved the first 2 chronicles, I was heartbroken for the Land as if it had been a character. I loved his Sci-Fi Into The Gap series and Mordents Need. He is Steven Eriksons' favourite author. Have you tried the Malazan series, you will absolutely love it or detest it, the Author does not hold your hand in any way you are just thrown in. Happy reading.
Love the intro 🐈⬛🗡 Your description for Dandelion is really hyping me up for trying the series in the second part of the year! And ah, Ninth Rain, too bad I did not love the conclusion, that first book and the premise of the Elven/Vampire people was so well done. I'm interested in trying Jen Williams' next series, just to see what other original concepts of worldbuilding she comes up with.
If I may suggest, do something wild next time, Top 10 Nautical fantasy, I cant even name 3 let alone 10 but I have to feed my tbr list, and I just want to read some magical pirate story.
About The bound and the broken series, the second is much better than the first. More action, more characters, more plots, I can't wait to know what you think about 😅
Awesome list! but I really wish I wasn’t able to see the list of books on the desk during the video. I like the surprise aspect of these types of videos
Wow I remember finishing the Poppy War series and simply sitting there in denial xD I was so shocked because I didn't see it coming and hadn't read a book with an ending like that before, but I've really started to appreciate it over time!
I will complete this year - The Dandelion Dynasty, The Last War Series, Lycanus Trilogy, The Green Bone Saga, The Bloodsworm Saga, The First Blade .... I had finished Rusted Wasteland Series and 50% Children of Memory ❤❤❤❤
I did love The Poppy War and The Way of Kings and of course TLotR. I enjoyed The Wheel of Time, but haven't finished the series either. And almost everything else is on my TBR list :D On a side note, if Juno Temple ever needs a stunt double, I think you have another career option :D
A Surprise top 5 Epic fantasy pick: Watership Down. If you have not read it, it is an absolute must. The surprise is not that it is a top 5 pick (it is commonly included in lists of the top 100 books ever written), but that it it an Epic Fantasy. The main characters are rabbits. Not anthropomorphic rabbits, just regular rabbits. It does not take place in some fantasy world, but here on earth. That being said, this is still checks off all of the requirements of being an Epic Fantasy story.
always intersted to see what peoples takes are, im new to fantasy and so i still need to find someones recommendations who tastes fit mine. I mean even the same author can be hard, I loved Faithful and The fallen but cant stand shadow of the gods
Thank you for your selection, we’re on the same page and you have provided me with new authors. Have you ever read the ‘The Ancient Future Trilogy’ by Traci Harding, who is a fellow Australian? Another trilogy ‘The Celestial Triad’ follows and is just as good. Love and light from Oz.
I've only read the first one so far in R.S. Ford's series Age of Uprising, Engines of Empire It was really good pitting magic fueled engines against people that are magic users
I thought it was very easy to read and quite addictive but in terms of the plot I believed The Aurelian Cycle managed the political/dragons part way better!
This is really rude. I think the titles are often similar, but when you watch the videos, she has a lot of different books and what she speaks about the books always gives me new insight.
Fantastic list. I always enjoy your videos, and often find series or authors I’d missed out on. Keep up the good work ☺️
Thank you so much! It really helps me to know it!
@ side note, not sure if you’ve even mentioned this, but if you dig Nautical fantasy, I’d highly recommend omens R.J. Barker’s Tide Child trilogy. Absolutely brilliant.
I swear this channel has done every top 10 *insert* fantasy in existence
Hahah wait for it!
and I’m very glad for it!
Seems like a lot of overlap too. Some lists are like one or two books different from the previous years haha

Your color coded bookshelves are so pleasing to look at good lord
Jajajaja gracias! It took me a solid minute to memorize the correct place of each book but it is done ✅
Thanks for the recommendations. I absolutely love your channel and the way you present the material. 😍
Thank you so much! It really brightens my day to know it!
Love the intro 🐈⬛🗡

Hahaha I’ll pass along the feedback to the star of the show 🐈!! Same with wanting to read more about Williams!!

Hahaha I am preparing weird books for April but I need to read first 🤓
About The bound and the broken series, the second is much better than the first. More action, more characters, more plots, I can't wait to know what you think about 😅
Ahh thank you! I can’t wait to keep reading! Hopefully soon 👀
Awesome list! but I really wish I wasn’t able to see the list of books on the desk during the video. I like the surprise aspect of these types of videos
I’m the opposite lol. I want to know what I’m getting myself into 😂
Great list. Always love seeing the Wheel of Time in peoples to 10
So happy to see The Founders Trilogy getting some attention. I devoured Shorefall when I read it, every OMFG moment almost giving me a heart attack 😅
You have such a lovely vibe and i'm so happy that i came across your channel;
Great videos🎀💝

I agree with several of your points!
Have you tried Jay Kristoff? Specifically the Nevernight series ❤
I have only read Empire of the Vampire from him!! Do you think I’ll enjoy Nevernight?
I also cannot help constantly loading up honorable mentions… there’s just too many dang good ones out there
I did love The Poppy War and The Way of Kings and of course TLotR. I enjoyed The Wheel of Time, but haven't finished the series either. And almost everything else is on my TBR list :D On a side note, if Juno Temple ever needs a stunt double, I think you have another career option :D
lord of the rings / tolkien is the fantasy father, everyone got inspired by him somehow, my favorite books❤❤
I think Ryan Cahill's going to be come an absolute giant. He just gets better and better the more he writes.
Thank you … some of my personal favourites in that list

Me encanta el top ❤ si en el futuro te animas a hacer uno de ciencia ficción te voy a adorar todavía más 😊

muy buenis libros, tengo 8 años y aprendo ingles viendote, eres muy graciosa!
I've only read the first one so far in R.S. Ford's series Age of Uprising, Engines of Empire It was really good pitting magic fueled engines against people that are magic users
Oh! I read it as well! It was very engaging!
What are your thoughts on Forth Wing by Rebecca Yarros?
I thought it was very easy to read and quite addictive but in terms of the plot I believed The Aurelian Cycle managed the political/dragons part way better!
Thank you!
Ahh you’re welcome! Hope you enjoy it!
Nobody is mentioning The Belgeriad ?!
have u read six of crows duology?
I have! Really enjoyed it! Did you?
@@FunFantasyBooks yes i did and i like it. but i see no one talking about it
Justice of the Kings is a reasonably good novel but unfortunately the subsequent volumes are very weak. I struggled to finish this trilogy.
Oh no! So sorry to hear that! I really enjoyed it! Will you try the new release of the author?
@@FunFantasyBooks I may give him another chance but it seems to me that nothing else by Richard Swann has been published in Poland.
What no Malazan Book of the Fallen in your top 10 fantasy books but it wasn't in your most overrated either...that has to be a first.
❤
I like your channel, but does it get tiring posting the same video over and over?
Ikr
I wanted to say this but didn't want to be rude. She does the same vid all the time, the 10 something fantasy of all time.
Hey! I do change the themes- I’ve covered modern, classic and grim dark so far! I believe this helps readers find books in different subgeneres!
No complaints here. Interested in Black Sun myself. Never heard of it.@@FunFantasyBooks
This is really rude. I think the titles are often similar, but when you watch the videos, she has a lot of different books and what she speaks about the books always gives me new insight.
The Way of King is trash. I don't get the hype
Ahhh reading is subjective! Personally I really loved it!
Hahahhahahah😂😂😂
