  • This is Ricky Rudd #10 Tide car Ford Thunderbird. He beat Dale Earnhardt in Loudon, NH used the car the following year at Martinsville, Va during practice his throttle got stuck and he slammed into the wall destroying the car. This car sat in the family junkyard for 25 years til it was moved out by his childhood friend and pit crew buddy.

Ricky Rudd is one of the very best to ever strap in a race car.

That is very cool! I didn't know the 1 that was crushed in Martinsville was same car as RPM's first win.

I went to most of the NASCAR races in 1994. I can hardly remember most of them. I do however remember a good bit of partying. @@RustyRatchetGarage

Oh no that car was so significant in making me a NASCAR fan I was there that day in Loudon, New Hampshire, sitting in the bleachers behind the finish line, watching Dale Earnhardt, trying to chase down Ricky Rudd in the final lapse of the race to no avail that was the day I became a NASCAR fan that was the day I became a dale Earnhardt fan and honestly he didn’t win. Many races finally got fed up and became a Jeff Gordon fan because he was winning all the races
