A very cool piece of history. Can't wait to see that up on the wall. Have a great weekend
Ricky Rudd is one of the very best to ever strap in a race car.
Yeah he was my favorite growing up. Funny now I’m good friends with his best friend.
WOOOOW what a nice find!
Would you or your friend that was on his pit crew be able to help me track down his mountain spring hood from his 97 pepsi 400 crash? I have a pic with it when i was about 10 years at his shop on rolling hills rd in mooresville. My incle bought the tire and wheel its in the pic as well but itd be awesome if you guys could help! Thanks and its awesome to see his cars are still out there! Great video and story sir!
I talked to him about it, he will keep his eye out, Ricky has no idea where it went.
I really appreciate you getting back to me! I would love to get of a mountain apring hood. Thought it was really cool when they added that it was his first real scheme change in the tide ride! Have a good weekend!
@@geremyoneal5728 it’s was cool. We will keep and eye out for you
you aren't by chance taking the car he won Rockingham at in 96 are you? I was that race - big Rudd fan :)
Joe answered that one thanks
Too cool, when are you going to The Rock? @@RustyRatchetGarage
That is very cool! I didn't know the 1 that was crushed in Martinsville was same car as RPM's first win.
I was there.
That had to be a hell of a crash to watch
I went to most of the NASCAR races in 1994. I can hardly remember most of them. I do however remember a good bit of partying. @@RustyRatchetGarage
Oh no that car was so significant in making me a NASCAR fan I was there that day in Loudon, New Hampshire, sitting in the bleachers behind the finish line, watching Dale Earnhardt, trying to chase down Ricky Rudd in the final lapse of the race to no avail that was the day I became a NASCAR fan that was the day I became a dale Earnhardt fan and honestly he didn’t win. Many races finally got fed up and became a Jeff Gordon fan because he was winning all the races
I loved that Tide car. My good friend grew up with Ricky Rudd when Ricky starts he was his pit crew along with Ricky’s father and brother
