F Huber the theories are sound and if he had realistic materials to work with they’d work right. The two man saw but was inspired by railroad engines and saw mills, huge saw mills in the past used similar machines to saw wood
From Rube Goldberg ideas come the new technologies we have now. We simply need to filter them thru the brains of geniuses and rocket scientists. No idea is stupid, just unrefined. Open minds have gotten us to every advance we have ever made.
Any method you can make work is more efficient than any you can't afford. Unless you can avoid doing it until you can afford something reliable and efficient.
I'm in the minority but i don't like the Ranger Gord cartoons . They are one of the longest segments per 23 minute show in the history the Red Green Show . I think they could have done other things to fill in time
This video was stopped at 1:38 as soon as I saw Wayne Robson's name flash on the screen, the dislike icon was bumped from 26 to 27 & I began keying this. Robson was acceptable as a bit part player restaurant owner in the movie "Affliction" but unacceptable in a sit com such as this. The laugh machine has to go into overtime because some people are not funny no matter how hard they try. Robson appeared 12 seasons on the show, that's 12 seasons too many. The good news is he died April 2011 at age 64. The bad news is; nature hates a vacuum.
Jesse Magnan Quite a few countries do, but the trade off is they have higher tax rates for the free/cheaper citizen benefits like healthcare or schooling.
Only if that was your entire amount...but a lot retire with a pension where that’s what they receive per year until death: a percentage of their former pay.$25000 is ok to retire on if you already own your house, have decent retirement benefits, and are debt free
Rothchilds in the sewer business.!Priceless!Took be 25 plus years to get it.Your uncle my hero RED GREENNNNNNNNN♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Ranger Gord's cartoon are amazing and one of the best skits in the show IMO
Tashihero Sato
As long as it falls into one of the Rare, Good Niches, there'.
The best thing about Ranger Gord's animated bit is the look on Red's face after the film's over. A fully loaded mind suddenly gone blank.
yup...love those cartoons
The amazing thing is... some of his inventions could work with minor refinements.

The garbage canadarm is actually how garbage collection trucks work now. Wonder if he gets royalties for that?
i so like Graham Greene in that role
'It blew all our weenies out into the lake' LOL 🤣 Love Edgar Montrose 😅
14:27 Oh, Lord! It's Ranger Gord!
i don't know but i would love to see a red green special on mythbusters
The Gamer's Shade sadly the duct tape specials were as close as they got
@@bostonrailfan2427 they did have clips from Red Green in them
As someone that works on telephone poles, I can say that Gord is 100% correct in where they come from
Love Red Green and Gang
My fave line. If it ain't broke, you're not trying
This lives in my head rent free and just vibes all day. 😂
Love this show
Take it from Mike: Ignorance really is bliss.
😆 Almost same joke that cost him his pants in the opening of a later ep I just watched.
I own every season from 91-97. Time for me to get up to this season!
1997 is when the show moved to its permanent home, the CBC.
I have 91 to 05 and a bonus Christmas DVD. Online cheap, I watched them all many, many times
Keep your stick on the ice.
A funny PBS shoutout! Hopefully WGBH appreciated their show getting a positive mention in a joke by neighboring NHPTV’s Saturday night stalwart
yup we've still got antenna too
The funny part is where Red covers himself when Edgar sets his explosives off with the device.
What even is Possum Lake Water at this point?
It is the primordial soup of life. All comes from it, all returns to it.
A biohazardous infectious material
Andrew Hornbeck Watch episode 177. Lol!
It’s a biohazard that’s non-potable but is safe to swim in or fall into...
I think a better question is "what isn't it?"
i wonder how many of his ideas actually work? it doesn't need to be efficient just work
Any method you can make work is more efficient than any you can't afford. Unless you can avoid doing it until you can afford something reliable and efficient.
The majority did work on some level, just made a mess or destroyed things as they worked
that would be AWESOME
Ranger Gord's cartoon is patently FALSE; everyone knows when you plant a cell phone, you get a CELL TOWER!
Wrong. You plant Smart phones to get cell towers.
The last time I planted a cell phone I got plantar warts
@@phillipevans6448 Brilliant!
17:33. Mike's Teen Talk.
I'd love to work in the prop shop for this show.
Room temperature IQ!!!

Has Mike ever managed to steel that big wrench that he tries to carry off...mike teen talk
Mike has been dead since 2011. He’s not stealing anything.
Some of these handy man corners dont seem like useless things honestly or dumb
smellymeadow hel that’s the whole point: making useless stuff just because

What happened when the fat lady backed into Flash’s propeller? A disasster.
What kind of liquid comes out of a telephone pole, Gord? Nitro glycerin.
NITRO GLYCERIN!?
Harold are you really that embarrassed that Red Green is your uncle?
No, but we’re embarrassed by your ridiculous comments.
Yes, because outside of Possum Lake he’s obnoxious, rude, loud, and annoying
I would love to have Red as my Uncle.
@@leonbundagejr.1312 he basically is everybody’s crazy Canadian Uncle 😂
How come you are letting u tube put adds in your show it dose knot help the show the red and green show is good but we don't need to see the adds
How else will Google pay the bills to host these videos?
@@michaelterrell And how else will Red buy duct tape?
@@KJTV67 When did he ever buy anything? 😁😁😁😁😁

I've been watchin this show for as long as it's been on...my TV had knobs and I had to cross the room to change the channel... I got lucky 🦩❤🦩
Since when could anyone afford to retire off $25k?! You’d be bankrupt after only a few months with the healthcare costs today.
Doesn't Canada have government funded healthcare?
Jesse Magnan Quite a few countries do, but the trade off is they have higher tax rates for the free/cheaper citizen benefits like healthcare or schooling.

Not if you live in Possum Lake apparently.
