Good job. Our concrete patio is at a slight angle. Any suggestions as to how to make the umbrella stand level? Aslo love your backyard.

Thanks I appreciate it! I'm not sure how steep the angle is but if it is slight you will be fine doing what I did especially if you use lots of concrete that makes it heavy and keeps a low center gravity.

You can save money by just using plastic pipe that your umbrella fits into instead of buying the umbrella anchor. Looks great.

Would I be able to use self bonding cement for this? My planter is very small so the big bags just wouldn’t make sense for me. I also never want to take it out of the small planter I’m using so would I be okay to not use a pipe at the bottom? Just mix the cement, pour it in and then put the umbrella in and use tape to make sure it’s held in place until it cures?

Yes that would work but would be a permeant setup.

If u use this method up north make sure u cover that pot up in the winter.water freeze and thaw will crack a plastic or ceramic pot
