They made it a key part of their marketing to separate Master Chief and John, which I then find ironic to have the end of the show focusing so much on John searching for his armor to become Master Chief again haha. It's not like the fans wanted to see him in his armor the entire show, or that we found it odd they picked an actor who can't act with a helmet on....
since 343 acquired halo they've ruin it because they want to make it there game not bungies. every single game that 343 have made since bungie have been absolutely terrible every single story has been completely different to the other because you can't stick to an idea to save the lives the PVP changed drastically to be more like Call of Duty than it is Halo now. I can't remember her name but the woman working on the show and has been a part of every episode & worked on Halo 4 and halo 5 story two of the worst halo games campaigns bar far. @@Samuel_Loegan
