      Im saying! Centuries old family heirlooms that have been passed down from generation to generation.
      I have my Great Great Grandfather's WWI Revolver and I would literally haunt my relatives if they sold it.

    • @Steveman27
      @Steveman27 2 роки тому +32

      @@burningcoal5705 Would you haunt them by putting burning coal where they would sit down? Selling irreplaceable things like that, it's like, how on earth did the previous generations have the resources and income and get by to not need to sell them, but the current one does not? It's kind of sad if that's why they're selling them since no one should have to resort to selling things like that just to get by. Also, to further mention your talk of haunting, that reminds me of Rocky 4 where Rocky decided to box Ivan Drago for free, because it made me wonder if he figured that if he made any money off of it, that Apollo Creed might come back to haunt him for it.

      In my opinion I’m not even mad that he sold them. I’m mad that he sold them for wayyy less than their actual value. If your going to sell a family heirloom that’s been passed down make it actually worth it. I’m sure his grandparents wouldn’t be mad at that but they’d be mad at the fact he sold them for 25% of their value

    The fact that Rick stood up and wore that ridiculous wig is proof that he's a "man of his word", which is a concept lacking in many business interactions nowadays. He made a deal, and lost the bet, and so he sidled up and stood in front of the camera with a silly wig, sullying his image. But the fact that he did it....speaks volumes to his sense of pride. Pride is best left on the shelf, and Rick definitely left his pride on the shelf for this episode! Kudos to Rick for being a "punching bag" in this episode yet still going strong!

    I love how people in these comment sections always rag on the seller for selling family heirlooms. Like dude, is it better for the object to sit in a box for eternity and collect dust? Or is it better to sell them to someone who's gonna appreciate them?

    • @bigchris8578
      @bigchris8578 2 роки тому +5

      Maybe display them instead of a box? Hand them down to HIS kids? Perhaps give them to another family member who will appreciate them? So many other options here.

    A friend of mine is a great guitar player. He inherited an expensive watch from his father.... He didn't really care for the watch but he felt obliged to keep it untill his mother convinced him to sell it to buy a beautiful Gretsch White Falcon guitar. He plays that guitar every day !! I think it was a good decision.
