Depends on the specific situation. I would not recommend the hurom in ANY case. I would recommend the VRT or Slowstar, but it depends on the situation. Each juicer has their own pros and cons. Be sure to watch my other videos where I compare the units so you will know which unit may be best for you.
I have not tried this. The mincing attachment works similar to an old fashioned meat grinder, so it would kind of work, but it doesn't push out the mixture fast enough as a sausage stuffer would.
To make banana ice cream, I don't have any juicers, I cut up the bananas freeze them and throw them in a small food processor and it looks and taste just like ice cream. I'm hoping for a slow juicer for Christmas though.
I can't find any videos or reviews on the Kuvings NS-950… How does it compare with the slowstar??? I'm stuck between these 2 but need to know more about the Kuvings. I want to do a lot of levy greens and some fruits. Thanks and you are the best!
I watched an earlier video of yours using a different juicer where you made coconut flakes. Then you dehydrated the flakes and put them through the juicer again and got coconut oil. Will this machine do that too? I'm trying to decide whether to get his SlowStar or the Omega VRT 400. (will the VRT make the coconut oil?) Thank you for all these informative videos!
I asked this question , but i don't see it posted. I really want to know why you don't recommend the Hurom -whether its the warranty only. The premium hurom has two filters and I think is slightly less number. Would the performance be similar to the Vert 400. Your older comparison was with an older model Hurom (not the 600 or 700 ). thanks for your help.
Thanks JK- This looks like a decent all-around performer- What I'd like to know is whether it has an optional coarse screen for soft produce. Also if there are any other after market options for the SlowStar. I'm fairly sold any road
Thank you , I hope next model comes with cover to protect from dirt, pulp lever, mesurement on the case and juice lever then it will be the best and I will buy it right away . Do not forget to compare it with hurom and kuvings .
Can you please tell the company when they make the next model to make it 32 blades that go downwards in the auger while this auger has 2 blades that go downwards. Can they also make the auger stainless steel? They could also put magnets in the auger to pull in more of the minerals into the juice like the Greenstar Elite does. They can also add in a pressure gauge like what the current Omega juicer and Greenstar Elite have. With those the juicer can be more thorough than the Angel juicer.
Can you make a video on juicing bob's red mill organic unsweetened unsulfured coconut flakes without removing the fiber with this juicer, and with the Omega 8004/8006 or the new NC series with the attachment that doesn't remove the fiber from the juice?
"And these are some hard bananas, let me tell you ladies" lmfao! This is my favorite Kohler line - EVER

yes, frozen berries would work as well. I would add them to the banana ice cream.

I have been telling them this LOUD and CLEAR for years..

Love your videos! How does the slowstar do with nut milk?

Excellent!! keep those slowstar videos coming i just received mine from disountjuicers Thursday.
hi john, if making almond butter, do I need to soak the almonds before putting them through the slowstar mincer?
I wonder to make green icecream if you would have to blend green smoothie then freeze it to run in through the shoot?

would you be able to do this with berries as well? Frozen berries and veggies?

Hi DiscountJuicers.com . Which tool would you advise to get "a store result".
What do you think o the stone grinder? Expensive...Thanks.
correct, it is an OPTIONAL accessory, and not included with the machine.
I mix bananas and frozen strawberries together.
Kuvings also now has a homogenizer (SM200 )attachment they call a "Frozen Desert Maker".

Thanks for the upload.
I'm guilty of weekly juicing lol. But I freeze half. So it'll only be at the oldest 3 days old in the fridge.
G'day John can the SlowStar make Sausage / Salami mince ?
what is homoginize?
How much does that machine cost $?
I like your shirt !
I do not recommend this machine for that task. I only recommend the Omega 800x series or Omega nc800 or nc900 for that particular task.
nice
I bet you could boil potatoes and make homemade mash with this attachment ... lol
... SOLD!!!
at some point.
OMEGA... you listening??? Please come out with this addon for the VRT... you are now starting to fall behind your competitors!
what a shame they aren't interested... thx John
the champion juicer will make a smooth nut butter but i'm not really a fan of the champion juicers.
