Hey John, I have to agree ... if someone watches even some of your videos and cannot figure out how to get their juicer to work, the problem is likely with them.
I've found that I actually like the less sweet green juice. It's nice to have fruit, I like pears the best, but green juice still tastes great if you don't have the fruit either.
That Tribest looks really good, but I will have to wait until I need a new juicer. Thanks for all the informative videos.
I have loved my Slowstar. I love the idea I'm not killing off nutrients because it does not heat up while juicing.

John, another excellent video. They are more like public service announcements. I watched many of your videos before I decided to purchase the Slowstar. It is everything you said it would be and more. It is my 3rd juicer to date. I had purchased a Nutripro juicer before watching your videos. The Nutirpro stopped working after maybe 3-4 uses, maybe it was defective but this Slowstar is excellent. I've followed your instructions and my juicer never gets jammed or overly clogged. I hope they do come out with that stopper that you mentioned as it would make it perfect. Thanks again for all your hard work and time.

John..what perfect timing! My Slowstar just arrived today! I had to put away the Breville for it was too noisy in my small condo unit. Couldn't make juice in the morning without disturbing the neighbors! Cant thank you enough for this video as well as the Slowstar review. This unit is amazing with the greens. Now...what do I do with my Breville? smile

This is one of the reason I returned the Slowstar. For my lifestyle it just takes a lot of time. If I grew my own produce as John does it definitely would be worth the effort. Can't wait to see your upcoming videos on the Kruvings Whole Juicer. Hopefully this will speed things up a bit.
The Kuvings does speed things up a little, but leafy greens and celery must be pre-cut for best results in ANY vertical single auger juicer or it may jam and or/make a pulpier juice.
You have one fortunate dog! Rabbits and guinea pigs love the raw vegan "scraps" as well.

Hello Jon! I bought this Tribest Slowstar from you about a year ago. I would like to know if I can juice Wheatgrass in this particular juicer? Please respond at your earliest . Thank you!!! Sandie
+Sandie Howard It CAN juice wheatgrass. its best to precut the wheatgrass into 1/4" pieces and then alternately feed in carrots when juicing.
Any thoughts about juicing wheat grass in the Slowstar? I have a horisontal style juicer now, but thinking of maybe getting a slowstar. Its either that or the new hurom.
While the slowstar will juice wheatgrass, a horizontal auger will do it BETTER, the problem is wheatgrass tends to clog the right angle turn if you do too much of it, plus it makes some "squeaking" noises when juicing.
John, Blessings,Peace & Light! Which one of your juicers are the best for juicing sprouts,fresh kelp and wheat grasses ?
For juicing sprouts and wheatgrass (never tried juicing fresh kelp) go for the Omega NC800, the horizontal augers are generally better for sprouts/grasses.
