Pete - if you haven’t got a pair of Darlac leaf grabbers then you need to get some - the 🐶🥜‘s 👍
Hi mate I use draper grabbers which are almost the same but have slightly bigger ends so can pick up more at a time and slightly more sturdy than the darlac grabbers well worth the investment 🙌🏼

@ , that’s been happening to a lot of channels lately. Just let the viewers know so they can re-subscribe. We got wonderful news today, the 2 masses on my husband adrenal glands have shrunk so much that the doctor said by the last chemo visit, he should be in complete remission. Also a lot of the cancerous lymph nodes are gone. All we got left is the one on his thyroid gland and we’re having an ultrasound on that soon. Big hugs to my favorite newlyweds. ❤️❤️

I’m filming for the other channel tomorrow we’re going to Scotland for a few nights mini honeymoon

@@dizzyspliff Hi mate the ladders were my mates he couldn’t fit them in his van and wanted to swap with my little giant ladders
I’ve always liked the little giant ladders but they are heavy the tripods are light and perfect for the jobs I’m doing
The vans great you really can’t do as much without it
We’re slowly getting back on track mate might take a few months properly but come spring we should flying again 🙌🏼

id recommend a top handle chainsaw if you dont have one yet,i invested in one,makes life much easier,if trees need to be pruned, doing hedge reduction or removing some bigger shrubs,light weight easy to handle,im using it 90% of time,brilliant thing to have

@@THETATTOOGARDENER83 bought it from my local garden machinery store, its Stihl MS194T with 12" bar, have 2 husky chainsaws,i think they a bit jealous of the little Stihl chainsaw lol,they dont get used often anymore

So if those hedges you cut had a load more waste coming off them I assume you’d charge more for them?

Some customers have bins or happy to sort the waste themselves which really helps

cutting laurel bugs me so much. big leaves. never looks tidy. got the husq 520 hedge trimmer yesterday. waiting for the right job to come. had the chance to use it today on a ivy hedge that wanted reducing in height but there was plenty chunky growth and didnt wanna abuse its virginity pop! haha

How much do you usually charge roughly for a pruning job of this size where there’s a lot of things just needing shaped up ?
We charged £100 and took a ton bag of waste away the job was about an hour

Hi mate I really like them I’ve got two types the tripod are awesome you’ll be able to fit the 8ft ladders inside anything bigger and you’ll need roof bars
I also use little giant ladders which are brilliant
