So basically this game is a variation of the origin story of Kal's team from the Black Library canon? Yelena, the destitute scion of House Catallus, fugitive in the Underhive with a bounty on her head and a "complicated history" with Kal, is pretty obviously an alternate, more "evil" version of Yolanda...maybe she's one of Yolanda's sisters, the Catallus are a complicated bunch (like every Noble House on Necromunda, I'd say), given that Kal does mention Yolanda in some ambient dialogue at the bar Jado the Dome Hunter is a stand-in for Scabbs, the half-ratskin tracker that's a long-time partner for Kal (and given his hunched, slightly malformed and generally unhealthy complexion, Jado could be a half ratskin as well) And as for Kal putting a bounty on you after you finished the job with him.....yeah that's a very much Kal Jericho thing to do. Nothing some bribing and a bit of shooting can't solve. Such is the life in the Underhive
