    11:1 compression that’s why these make good jam . I always wanted to do an all oem k series all motor build , just all the best parts of all the engines in one .

    Healthy engine. Probably make a good 5-8hp with the proper intake and a larger exhaust over the 240whp

      Invidia N1 exhaust is way better...just way louder then the q300

      I’m also considering the supercharger route for my 9th gen coupe. I waver on it though because I love how dead reliable the car has been

      @@hankhillsurethra I think I'm leaning more towards the N/A route really. Going to try and save up for a Lotus Emira to have as my performance machine. :)

    I wonder though if its worth it money-wise to swap a conventional z3 head instead of getting something like a 4piston built R40 head. Even from that Ariel Atom video, the 4piston DIC k24z seem to truly change the characteristic of the k24z motor. The torque seemed more flat and can't wait to see a proper FBO Cammed 9th gen SI

    That rear wing flap looks freaking SICK, back of the car is where it’s at lol the front looks 🫤
    Needs a better intake and header, those alone probably free up 10hp - Although I’m a fan of the Q300 with a K20/24 swap you definitely need a 3” exhaust, there’s another 5-8hp.
    Fuel upgrades for even more… Solid power though - nice tune bro

    These motors has 11:1 compression ratio vs k24a2 which is 10:1 so the higher compression with a good flow head and cams gives it that power, wonder how will it do with 07 tsx cams

    I have a k24a2 and with full bolt ons abd a hondata flash pro im make 275hp but soon going to supercharge it

    That needs biger tb and ported manifold and header is prob mangled up. Missing good 10hp there.

    I am currently building this motor set up and I found the pistons hit the the head. I wonder if the builder ran a thicker head gasket or clearanced the pistons?

      The k24a2 is easier to Frankenstein with the k20z3 head, right?

      @@scottgardner5918 yes, the go to Frankenstein but the k24z is different from the k24a’s and alot has to be changed.

    I would've just supercharged it, even if the part itself is more expensive, you're going to get better reliability out of still using the stock motor configuration, along with a low boost pulley on something like a kraftwerks kit and still make 320-ish hp

      @@klarkqent its bad for the engine and inefficient, you should only put superchargers on bigger engines if you want them to last long at all

      @@kennedywrightt really? The one I'm talking about held together on pump gas 93 with daily driving duties during the spring summer and fall for 2yrs with some pretty regular tracc days. Never blew up, never melted a valve. Only came apart for a larger supercharger

      Yeah I'm not sure why this one didn't have the big VTEC hit that you usually see. Could it have been the VTEC tuning? He said he ran 40 degrees on VTEC, not sure if that's low or high.

    Nice numbers but damn I put down 219/173 fbo/ w rbc stock z7 I don’t see all the hassle for a head swap for 20 hp

      It's definitely worth it, once u get the k20 head, u can get camshafts for it. That would put u over 250-260whp with 200+torq if u went e85 on that would be almost 300whp and 240+torq all motor..

      I feel like people misconstrue the word sleeper. To make that power on an unpopular k24 platform is impressive. This 9th gen is damn near stock and I’m sure this will definitely fool some cars within its own class. I’m sure he wants a fun and reliable daily. I’m happy with my 211whp on my dc5. Not everyone is trying to be the fastest and there will always be someone faster. To each their own I guess but I honestly cringe at that comment assuming you are a “car enthusiast.” You contradict your bio man. Smh

      coming from a Golf owner, who would have thought? The most dumpster fire of car breed there is - the gti. HE must just be mad that he got gapped few too many times by these 240hp civics even though he cant lose because his car is TURBO CHARGED like how could he have lost to a N/A VTEC engine?
