The problem with these power stations is run time. To run a fridge or anything for that matter for like 8 hours you need 8 12ah batteries. I have a commercial floor fan I wanted to run through the night. I put 4 12ah batteries and 4 9ah batteries on one power station and I joined the newest power station with the built in batter and I used the parallel kit. It ran the fan on high for like 9 hours before it alarmed that the batteries were almost dead. I couldn't believe it

I purchased 2 of the backpack powersupply and 8 of the 6 ah batteries second hand. So now I can run 8 batteries all at the same time on one 40v powerstation 1700watt hours got everything by being patient & found it all for less than half price.

@ometofu I'll only use gas if I absolutely have to and in a hurricane blowing 90 mph that's not possible

@ometofu I love these power supplies but their major down fall is run time. If you plan using the 18v for 8 hours straight then you need to run something small or have a ton of batteries

Would be nice to get one of these ,to bad I live in Australia and Ryobi Australia. Sux because there range of tools are lame compared to the rest of the world......maybe you guys at Ryobi USA can have a word to Ryobi Australia and tell them to catch up with you guys as they are losing out on money not stocking the complete range of ryobi tools.

This was a misleading video. Don’t get me wrong I love Ryobi. All of my tools are Ryobi. But for prolonged use they don’t do great. As others said a day or less pending what you plug in. Using it to power your freezer for an hour a day over multiple days I think would be best use for the power station.
