I know you guys at Ryobi read the comments.
    Here's a couple suggestions.
Give these things a nickname everyone knows and understands everyone knows what a "Sawsall" is.
If possible do an update to the 18V and 40V power supply's that can make pass through charging possible.
Solar charging is a great feature but if it's not pass through it knocks it down to meh. Since for now that's not an option, I think everyone who is buying these types of devices would be interested in a solar charger that's able to charge 4-6 Ryobi batteries in sequence or at all at once.
And 60W isn't covering it. You're going to need to shoot for something that is able to harness as much solar into as many of your batteries as fast as possible. Do that and you'll squash jackory and renogy.

The power stations showcased in this video are incredible! Being able to hot swap batteries in the 18V and 40V power stations without causing downtime is a much appreciated feature. :) Also, Alex says hi! :)

Good products. However, ECO flow and Anker are selling the same price as your generator AND they came WITH battery. You are selling tool-only for the same price. Hopefully you will discount it soon.

I bought the 18V generator as soon as I could. A couple months later they had it on sale for $50 more with 4 6ah batteries. There are sales but you have to watch it daily. I already have a ton of batteries and tools in this platform. I know that they do what they claim and beyond.

So many of these power solutions would be absolutely perfect for the off-grid camper, RVer or Boondocker. We already have a bunch of really useful Ryobi tools using the One+ system - some of these are a better solution for us than the portable power stations or "solar generators" that lots of campers are considering for so many reasons.

That 18v Station is the dream for me. I have a bunch of One+ batteries and a few solar panels. It is just out of reach...

Yeah, I'm not sure when Ryobi decided they were a "premium" brand but I'm looking forward to them waking up and pricing their stuff appropriately.

60w watt solar input is a joke. I can't believe they made that so weak. Even the worst ecoflow deltas have 300w input. Ryobi needs to call me when the release a 4000 peak 3000 continuous with at least 1000 wats solar input. They also need to make 6 battery slots on each side. Sell the 12ah batteries for half off when you buy them with the unit. 12x12 = 144 amp hours! Now that would be nice unit for 5th wheels and small cabins.

Can the solar panel charge the batteries on any of the power stations?

  • @rcharrisoniv
    @rcharrisoniv 6 місяців тому

Can't wait to get one just waiting on Ryobi to allow pass through charging. All of my applications will require me to use the power as I am charging the batteries via solar.

      @KillerRaptorr Місяць тому

Neither of their battery swipe version allow pass through sadly. The only one that does is the self built in battery version. Which is kinda stupid but yeah.
With the 4 40volt version you could combined that with 4 of the 3cell 40volt power packs. And fit them onto the power station for even more time (Not proven but a good rough guess.) to increase it to like 5kw of power.

Could you please make a USB power source that allows you to charge back up through USB as well, basically a power bank that uses 18v one plus battery's.

I would like to see an adapter transformer for jump starting the car. That option should be on the tire inflation tool. Just a thought....

The solar panel prices are in no way competitive or realistic. I do like the internal battery version, but its should have been LFP chemistry as well as have a 240v option for parallel mode.

      Yeah very disappointing,
I use a $80 renogy panel, a $16 renogy charge controller connected to a $4 twin 12v sockets I plug a ryobi 12v car charger and that charges batteries one at a time. If I find a second car charger at the thrift store I'll see if I can charge 2 at a time

Just had to go 6 days without electricity in florida bc of Helene. Could not charge my ryobi 1800w inverter bc your power station has no solar charge option but u sell a 60w panel. Took me 12 hrs to charge 4 40v batteries in my truck individually. Since there's no simultaneous charge option for the batteries. You guys really dropped the ball with this product.

You should mention that certain inverters come with pure sign, wave and others don’t like your battery inverter. People won’t realize that they just blew up one of their sensitive appliances if it’s not pure sinewave.

3:40 and 4:20, neither utilize, they use. Utilize is not a fancy way of saying use. When something is utilized, it is being used for other than its design and intend use. Think of a chair, it's use is to be sat upon; however, we can utilize it as a step stool. Using utilize does not make one sound smarter nor more educated, it comes across as pompous and self-ingratiating.

RYOBI does not honor their warranty. Do not buy RYOBI if you are in HAWAII. You will be forced to ship to the mainland for service. I was quoted almost $200 shipping cost from UPS & USPS for my weed wacker that is still under warranty for the SLOWEST possible shipping. This means you are without the tool for weeks/months in addition to the cost, assuming they will even honor your claim.

      Maybe That's In Hawaii, I don't know.
But here in KC. Mo. They have always Honored their warranty with me.
When my batteries died before warranty goes out, they sent me a new one.
What I don't like is when a problem comes up, I gotta find their repair shop which is 50 miles from KC. & I have to pay for shipping.
So I have to push Home Depot to take it back.
They do need an updated system for repairs, but I do see it as they do Honor their warranty.
I've always believed GOD introduced me to RYOBI.
I have been disappointed a couple of times returning with the warranty & sending equipment off, but with everything on one battery I've managed to Forgive RYOBI.
Whenever I buy a product, I test it over & over again Before the store warranty 30-90 days is up.
Whenever we buy something, we're taking a chance for breakdown, no company is perfect, no product is guaranteed for life like Rigid claims but they are one company that does not stand up to their warranty. I have several tools that are unfixable by Rigid after sending it off 2 times. But I don't have this problem with RYOBI.
Let GOD Lead & Guide you, HE's Good at that, HE's been doing that for yrs.

The new ryobi tools are made of thin plastic, and when it cracks and falls apart, they refuse to honor the warranty. My 5 years old one is still in great shape. Too bad they have gone down hill, and try to blame customers for poorly build products.
