The Bill (Snyder Family Stadium) holds 53,000, not 50K. And like Arrowhead Stadium in KC, The Bill is one of the loudest places to play in the country for visiting teams. Pete Carroll made this comment back in the '90's when his USC team played at K-State. And that was when the stadium was seating less than 50K! The all sides of the stadium have been added to since them, boxing in more of the sound now than then. EMAW

BYU doesn't build anything it can't pay for upfront. With no access to P5 money, BYU has made fantastic progress at upgrading its facilities. A few years of P5 money and you'll see a stadium that is second to none.

listen to your comments again; you referred to BPS as the "University of Oklahoma". As far as your list, I would put Kansas State higher; look at the video I did of KSU in January. The non-club and suite side of the stadium got a face lift, and the new Indoor Practice Facility is right next to the football stadium. I would have put KSU at #4. You are right about UCF, I just did a video of that stadium and included pictures of what it's going to look like in the future. They have expansion already in the works. I wouldn't raise BYU on your list, but I have been to their stadium. It's worth the trip just to go and get a "cougartail". It's a long john donut thats 2x the size with cream filling. BYU's atmosphere is pretty good. Oh, and your picture of Houston's stadium is old. If you have seen their new Indoor Practice Facility, it looks amazing. Houston spent their money on things that their players will use on a daily basis.

As someone who Lives in Oklahoma and goes to the games and has a sister who goes to school there I’m a little hurt it as the university of Oklahoma. We are the Cowboys of Oklahoma State. But Just a simple mistake. But I love the # 1 you should go @AF Stadiums. My dream is to be a sports announcer at some point so I’m working for that. But Boone Pickens Stadium is wonderful. Yes it’s practically in the middle of nowhere but that’s Stillwater Oklahoma and parts of Oklahoma in general but it’s a great stadium.
Boone Pickens Stadium is not University of Oklahoma, but it is a nice stadium. Also, TCU has Hypnotoad, which makes for a lot of fun at the Carter, should be way higher on this list.

Chiming in regarding the atmosphere at certain places. Honestly, TCU should be way lower on the list as until very recently, you’d have visiting teams with larger crowds than the Frogs (cough Tech cough). And speaking of Tech, even in its current configuration, when the team has a pulse, it is by far one of the hardest, most hostile environments for visiting teams anywhere (Ask any Longhorn or Aggie about playing there during the Leach era). With the team we have now and the stadium improvements I’d definitely have it 1 or 1a (can’t argue with BPS as #1).
Gonna need an update next year after The Jones is finished plus the 4 new teams entering the Big 12. Also, made the trip to Provo in October vs Texas Tech, had a great time and that mountain backdrop is awesome.
Night game, both teams ranked, Big XII football… oSu is easily the best stadium in the Big XII. Young fan base (predominantly alumni) inside a bowl that is stupid loud. Best game I attended: 1. 2013 oSu hosts Baylor and DESTROYS them. It was 30° and still set an attendance record (65,000) TCU was a great host last season and the fans were amazing hosts. The student section was unique being down the sideline. Baylor was meh but the facilities are nice.

Memorial Stadium in Austin is the epitome of state designed & built facility, like the rest of their campus. When you walk on UT Austin's campus, it is no different than UT Arlington, or UNT for that matter. It is all state built cookie cutter facilities. Tech may be the only state university with any personality in the architecture. I have yet to actually attend a game in McClain stadium in Waco, maybe this year, but I drive by a lot and it is pretty cool looking.

Bigger doesn't mean loudest. For example, Arrowhead isn't the largest NFL stadium, but it is the loudest.
