Brilliant review , and like yourself had no idea how good this band is 😮 even though I’ve been a rock metal fan for 40 plus years ! Stunning performance 😊surely metal can’t get any better than this ???? ❤🎉❤❤❤
My introduction to Judas Priest was Screaming for Vengeance. It didn't take long to realize that these guys had been rocking for years before that. Love me some Priest from day one to now.
My favorite metalband and they will forever be!! This song is so dark, progressive and agressive. Halford his voice on this one sounds like he came from the depths of hell. And all of a sudden in the passage where he sings about her changing and she doesn't see him anymore he sounds like an angel. Goosebumps! I can hear this song a trillion times, it will always have that haunting effect on me.
Nice reaction, as a life long Priest fanatic, the great thing about Priest is every album is different. I would listen Beyond the Realms of Death, Sentinel Live from 1986 Fuel for Life tour to start. This concert was in California. Screaming for Vengeance is the album that made them big here in the US. So much to listen to! Enjjoy!
Thanks Paul , I did say I should have a playlist with 28 Priest songs , I was caught up in the moment ! But maybe not ! So thank you for album advice , you can be sure to see more 😎

@@tristanrl1940 in most cases you are correct but there are certain bands and songs that are very toned down for the album and the right live performance is way better than the studio version. I feel far too many people get used to the studio version that they miss the energy and presence of a live show. I see many of the young reactors not understanding how the bands could perform live as well as they do, but at the time that's how most bands performed, live and they had to put out their best performances on the stage.
@@collinnicholasns thanks for yours - horses for courses. The tone of the guitars are not so great and the extended solo dragged on a bit. I like Mr. Halford’s vocal performance live - perhaps I am speaking out to turn, but the first time listener might prefer to hear the studio recording so as to get a better grasp on content - kindly note: I’m over 50 years of age and have attended several hundred shows ✌️
I feel that the song is from the view of a man watching the woman he loves descent into alcoholism. The first part is him telling her off, the softer section is him remembering the good times, and finally at the end his inner frustration with taking her back again emphasized by the repeated "no" saying he won't do it and the final scream of frustration because he knows he will.
Song was actually written about his boyfriend who liked to cheat/fool around. Rob Halford is gay and hadn't come out yet, so the words were changed to fit a heterosexual view point.

Do consider trying Dreamer Deceiver by JP - Lovely to see another review by you, Alan matey - keep well
@@tristanrl1940 thank you my friend , I’m learning , so all advice is good .. and you are right , studio is better on many occasions ,, but I guess I’m always drawn to live , it gives me more to observe and listen too ..
I like Mr. Halford’s vocal performance live - perhaps I am speaking out to turn, but the first time listener might prefer to hear the studio recording so as to get a better grasp on content - kindly note: I’m over 50 years of age and have attended several hundred shows ✌️
Describe Heavy Metal to someone that doesn't know Heavy Metal. Judas MF'n Priest's Victim of Changes. Fight me.
😮😂😂🙈👍👍👍👍👍😎
I feel that the song is from the view of a man watching the woman he loves descent into alcoholism. The first part is him telling her off, the softer section is him remembering the good times, and finally at the end his inner frustration with taking her back again emphasized by the repeated "no" saying he won't do it and the final scream of frustration because he knows he will.
That’s a perspective I can visualise 👍 thank you Colin , it’s always good to get input and perspectives 😎👍
Song was actually written about his boyfriend who liked to cheat/fool around. Rob Halford is gay and hadn't come out yet, so the words were changed to fit a heterosexual view point.
Please check out j.p. live 86, the sentinel..
Robert , that will be a pleasure , I’ve had a lot of Jp recommend that track so , who am I to argue 😊👍🍺
California baby...
JP probably has more great hits than any of the most talented bands. Seriously.
I really don’t know thier catalogue , but I do know they sold a serious number of albums .. I will learn as I go .. and I get so much info from comments 😊😊👍
@@alan-reacts65 I hear ya freind. Personally their 70s,80s and 90s were their best era for me. When they came out with the painkiller album, Infesus pain, I was done with them. 👍
They're not even at their best here, coming off a long tour and it's well over 100° on that stage.
