Romhack Review and Playthrough Sonic Legacy by GammaV

(Note this video should of been put up weeks ago but I forgot. Don't worry, I have more cartoons coming. I do wonder what sort of person would watch this. Probably no one.)
This is more of a passion project for us, but spouses gotta have hobbies together and one of ours is playing through Sonic romhacks together where we see how creative people can be and we get new romhacks every year! Muh waifu suggested putting it online because why the hell not. Maybe the Gamma V crew would like some feedback.
Ted - I give this romhack a solid B for ambition. It lacks in level design and enemy placement but sheer volume of stuff and edits show that heart was put in.
Yaki - I also give this a B. Most romhacks don't bother with special stages. This one does. Plus all the levels.

This was my very first full hack of a Sonic game, and I'm used to hacking Super Mario World.

You can see our individual reactions level by level but the general impression we got was that the level design needed some creativity to make it more interesting. The end-result was kinda bland, but it wasn't bad per say except for the frustrating last level of Metropolis which was more cheap than difficult. We've played worse romhacks for sure and there's nothing more lame than lazy ones who just do sprite replacements or cosmetic changes.
