Got a Jaguar at launch, Raiden was the first used game I picked up. Probably the most played of my collection. Definitely cemented shmups as my favorite genre of games. Imagitec’s Raiden (also on the Atari ST) has a lot of differences compared to the arcade game, was the only console version to have multiplayer (before The Raiden Project on PlayStation) and is arguably the most faithful port that Seibu Kaihatsu didn’t do themselves
I remember being tempted both by the Jag and CD32 but it was kinda obvious even back then that neither Atari or C= were going to make a comeback against Sony, Sega or Nintendo.
Never seen it before but looks great! And the music was really cool.
