i met ryan gullen while i was working on an old building beside our theatre. i shook his hand and told him i loved their music, he put me on the guest list!! fuckin love this band
Proud to be Canadian
Me 2
+Hans Lidón They look like a bunch of hicks from Alabama.
+Under Water They're actually a bunch of hicks from Saskatchewan.
I'm a "hick" from North Alabama. Don't be jealous.
+jonvoightscar14 there is 1 million people in the entire province of Saskatchewan...many hick places..check out a show called 'corner gas" about sims it up :)
Being a classic rock nut I have great respect for these guys bringing back that classic rock sound.
Funny enough, i first heard this on the radio and thought it was a 70s song I missed from back in the day. These guys are good! Now only if music like this would be at the top of the pops again...
Lol I immediately thought, "wow these guys sound just like a 70s group" when I first heard them.
***** Honestly, I thought they were the Guess Who or Steve Miller. A lot of influence from them.
Josh Nixon Yeah I can see that.
That's what I tell errbody. guys look! fuckn harmony! remember harmony!?!? lol
These guys are great..so refreshing in their retro-sound and all are awesome musicians....the bass player is just amazing....he really rocks this hard
People in the comment sections here are so respectful, this band has a great fanbase!
It should be criminal that these videos get less than a million views.
Loved this band since I first heard them when "I Don't Know" was first a hit.
It's the level of quality I hear in these guys' music that speaks to me the most; the songwriting, the musicianship, the whole presentation. There's a difference between good and excellent, and these fellows understand the difference. One of the best bands to emerge in years.
I cant believe this video only has 7000 views??? Somethings wrong with the world today.
+Steve Crotty It's on spotify, that should do some damage.
No doubt, ever since I heard "I don't know" I have been hooked. Who would've known these sask boys could legit bring back classic rock! Much love from Alberta going their way!!!
they havent sold themselves out yet. the music industry is a fake ass popularity contest. these guys are real.
Theyre just not mainstream. Congratulations, we're all hipsters now
These guys are amazing...They should be much bigger.... THIS TIMELESS MUSIC unlike most the 2week specials that keep flying bye to be forgotten...SHEEPDOGS WILL BE HUGE....MARK MY WORDS.....
*No paper was harmed in the making of this video*
Love the new track guys, keep it up!!
+Philip Alexander good one Phil!
Saw these guys last night in Ottawa. Fantastic show, people went nuts during this song.
This is what I want. A band that makes music. Give me more of bands like this one here.
These guys are sincere in their music because they have taste. Taste means variety of influences and loving what you do. You do it for you and then if you're any good people will like it too. I'm tired of having bands that all sound identically bad shoveled down my throat because posers love it and have no taste. Sick to death of it. Just give me real music and don't spew your politics at me and I'm happy.
the pianist wins best moustache of 2015
This song and band needs more love...!
Woohoo ..i get to see them in Köln in Feb...well lookin forward to it...as real rock and roll is hard to find.
I only recently discovered the Sheep Dogs but they're f**&ing great. Like a blend of my favorite 70s bands.
Forget labels. It's music. I want variety and these guys get it. So many kids today don't understand music needs to sound like you have many influences, not just one or two. Singing needs to sound good, not like farm animals pooping.
love the half guitar spin really bringing it back... ZZ TOP
I'll never forget listening to the radio every morning driving to school and hearing this song. Amazing.
I can only state the obvious: The Sheepdogs rock!
Sounds like a 2000s band even a 70s band; LOVE THE SHEEP DOGS!
you're really keeping the rock rolling!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the greatest thing to ever happen, ever
Great sound, I love this band.
Sheepdogs are one of the best bands doing it today! I love your take on the old style while still keeping it your own! Future Nostalgia is a banger of an album. Don’t trust me? Check it out for yourself!!
Hilarious music video and AWESOME song!!!
the best live concert I've seen they came to Winnipeg last night, it was just wow
AWSOME MUSIC THIS BAND NEEDS RECONIZE
Love it! Can't wait to get the album, hopefully at a show.
I want Vida Blue on the next album. ;)
Saw them in Philly with Rival Sons...they are a GREAT live band, and yes, great musicians. Met them afterwards at the meet and greet. Look up their story on how they got on the cover of Rolling Stone. Talk about down and out.
Fantastic
I love the part where Ewan steps in and kicks the cup out of the dudes hand hahaha
This song is f**&ing awesome. Love it. Good video too.
for the past 5 months all on the radio i hear downtown
Amazing video, the pissed off boss is the best!! Great song!
Awesome Nanaimo gig last night boys. Everyone I met there came out from Port Alberni :)
Best new band.
The Guess Who sound, love the Sheepdogs!
Great album guys, hope to see you on tour again!
I like how their new guitarist Rusty Matyas is shown in the video (following the departure of Leot Hanson) as well as keyboardist Shamus Currie.
Saw these guys in norwich (england) at the waterfront while waiting for the main act to come on and they were brilliant ! cant wait for you guys to revisit!
Great tune, love the video
+Jimi Campbell Great taste, Jimi
yah man,, Im the office boss
Love these Guy's!! 🎸👌🏻🤘🏻🖤❣🖤❣
Thats a sweet acoustic 12 sting he has, wish i can afford cool guitars like that.
They came and played in my class once
Awsome.
My sweet baby
Looks like Dwight survived the zombie apocalypse and joined a band as the keyboardist. Great tune!
Rival sons concert brought me here, you rocked VIENNA guys, glad that i saw you there ;)
solid song guys
Hmm.. I'm 🤔 Mountain's "Mississippi Queen" when I hear this one! 😉
Muito top essa música parece q saiu direto dos anos 70s
Nice Hey Hey What Can I Do cover! Gotta love Zeppelin
Saw you guys at the Rooster festival on Friday! Fucking awesome set, best of the weekend.
My 40 year old son told me old style rock and roll is dead..... Oh yeah?
That sounds a lot like what would have happened if the Beatles never broke up and continued to roll through the 70s. Very very very good. Like the new hairdo guys \m/ d-_-b \m/
The Beatles couldn't have sounded this good if they played for a hundred years! Most over rated pop group in history. They never rocked!
Love this vid!
How much would it cost to get Phil Kessel and the boys to come to my work and kick all the shit off our desks?
Steve McQueen wen
nice
I did not see the bassists face once in this video lol
I saw them live and even then I couldn't see his face - lol. Great band, great sound!
Great singer! Sounds like a cross between Greg Allman and Ron Sexsmith.
I hear a little Allman Brothers come through in their guitar.
Is this song about when Jake Tapper was living downtown and his fiance was living in his house?
All I can do is calculated guessing.
Great song.
Lol hey Ryan was that you that kicked that stall door open to reveal that man on the toilet?
Oh god...all this time I thought this song was sung by some underground 60s band...
Watch closely... at 3:00, his strap is not connected! haha
+Daniel Vucko Good observation , Dan!
Nice 12 string.
Thats my uncle.
+Masonsartshack Me too!
Did they replace any members in the band or am i loosing it?
+Anthony .Varone Leot left, new guy is Rusty.
+Anthony .Varone Nope, you're losing it. Sorry Anthony
+CeeRoyJenkins Leot came back
maybe somebody got a haircut
Why does this sound almost identical to "downtown" by Danny and whitten and crazy horse? Very similar main riff anyways.
And people say "rock is dead"
What are you guys up to these days?
crazy how much this sounds like tom petty you dont know how it feels. maybe thats why they sound like an old band..
Is Rusty still in the band?
Its me or the singer looks like a country phil kessel
Where's Petula Clark?
Sounds awfully close to Zeppelin's "Hey Hey What Can I Do?"
Really lol don't hear that at all
one of the ONLY respectable sounds today! CHECK OUT Waxandherbalt aswell- classics are rare- REMEMBER 2 share
sounds like the who
sounds like led Zeppelin
no no no, listen to "I'm Gonna Be Myself"
Hey Hey What Can i Doooo
led Zeppelin anybody?
should have kept the old look.... it was much better..... but then i have no love for todays hipster look
This is a good song but I can't over the generic sound of this chorus sorry
ew a haircut
awful song
