I don't always listen to new music, but when I do it sounds like old music. I say this with love and respect. One of the best Canadian bands of the new millennium.
I'm inclined to agree. My acquaintance at my local Metro, a longtime cashier there, turned me onto the Sheepdogs years ago. And I haven't looked back since ....
I agree with you. I like some of the modern music, but it seems that the new music I like the most reminds me in some way of some band or style that I grew up listening to.
I recall getting Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon, Black Sabbath - Paranoid and Deep Purple Machine Head records plus an Electrohome record player with detachable speakers (no shit) for the Christmas of 74...when music was plentiful, and it seemed all really good...then time went by, I thought the can't make music anymore, it went south and stayed there. Then along came Blackberry Smoke and the Sheepdogs, and I was saved.
@@user-fg6bq1vt9i you sir have hit the nail on the head.
The guitar in this song sounds like Duane Allman and Dickey Betts in their heyday with the Allman Brothers and the harmony has shades of the Eagles. Colour me impressed.
Furious Sherman Go check out Blackberry Smoke !
And the Allman Betts Band..... there great as there the sons of the ABB .....
@@darrylcole5575 Check out "Southern Dreamin'"... they go full on Allman Brothers on that little gem...
You boys make Saskatchewan proud! Proud of where I am from and loving The Sheepdogs. Great tunes for out in the fields.
Me and my girl saw them at the Capital Theatre in North Bay Ontario Outta Sight Tour...the opening act was really good too. We saw them near Orillia too, forgot the places name. I wish I could see and hear all their shows...love my Sheepdogs.
Saskatchewan fan here. Proud of u all. Incredible band 👍
Classic rock radio encompassed in to one song.
Underrated song, needs way more attention then it has.
Saw these guys last night in Detroit with The Rival Sons ... they were FANTASTIC! I never heard of these guys before this, but they won the crowd over in pretty quick fashion. For a bunch of northern boys from Canada, they have their southern rock chops down for sure! ... hell they had their chops down no matter where they hale from. Absolutely worth checking out!
Awesome song!! Totally reminds me of Saskatoon!! Well, parents moved us there in 1983 but hey! My kids and grandkids live there now. Keep on Rockin' !
Tune in radio brought me here. I hear ABB as well as Greatful Dead, even a little Paul M and Wings. Ok and some Jackson Brown. Damn good band!!!!
Blues Brothers/Roadhouse/Anchorman lol YESSSSS BOYS.
The Rival Sons brought me hear. Pleasantly surprised..
Saw them in Boston 3 days ago.
*Here*
Forgiven because Sheepdogs & Rival Sons are awesome.
METAL IS OVERRATED they are not even close to screamo dude
Big Props to Maryhill and Paul Weber the home of The Commercial, the last country bar like it of its kind.
Awesome incredible fabulous band. A fan here from Saskatchewan. 👍❤
Like it! Didn't expect a 70s-80s feel song to hit me so nice
Be proud
Such warm music
Excellent as usual. I love the Blues Brothers-esque setting, they probably have both kinds of music in that bar: country and western! Also, if this rock and roll thing doesn't work out, I think Ewan has a potential career as a Viking on the History Channel!
I know let's win email over with "gimme some lovin"
just found this band and I love it!! great sound!! I'm already a new fan! :D
Jimmy Bowskill is an amazing addition to your Band. So talented. Check out his solo stuff to folks.
Had the pleasure of meeting him last night. So incredibly gifted.
Saw them with Rival Sons in Carrboro NC and loved their show! Very reminiscent of the ABB, love their harmonies, guitar work, and well basically everything.
saw them last night open for Rival Sons, damn good band and the guitar player just wails on that thing!!
@Parker Woodward saw them open for RS in Carrboro NC, loved it!
Love this song! Canadian Allman Brothers!
Evil Chuck yep

Ahhhhhhhhh this is the greatest thing I've heard in my entire life. SHEEPDOGS ARE ROCK JESII (that's multiple jesuses). I can't even wrap my head around how perfect this song is.
"Well, That Escalated Quickly, Shamus Killed A Guy"
I think this could be the song that makes me the happiest
Changing Colours is their finest work to date.. is my favorite album of 2018 so far. This is such a great album opener, awesome video too.

The Sheepdogs with Paul Weber at The Commercial Tavern in Waterloo Region!! How cool is that?? I love these guys, and the place, too!
Saw you for the first time last summer after being a fan since I was a wee 17 year old in 2011. You played this song and I was psyched to hear the rest of the album. Honestly fell in love with the music even more. It hits me deep. Keep rockin'

I’m primarily a metal head but this song absolutely rules. It’s like a southern rock thin lizzy

Very good band.
Spring has sprung in the summer
The Lead singer looks like a Sea God (His guitar is like a Trident) nothing but great music coming out of them.

Played death metal for 24 years. Decided to try my hand last few years on bass in totally new music. Joined a band a month ago and they do two covers, Nobody and Bad Lieutenant. Awesome songs. So fuckin simple and so, so catchy. Great band.

Just heard this on the radio. Nice Rambling Man tribute sound dual gits.
Those duelling guitars are sweet as honey
Whoa!! Just noticed there's a synthesizer in the Bridge!!
Great song! I heard it on Chom’s radio and was immediately hooked.
These guys keep getting better and better ever since their first popular song
Best song they have come out by far
Great Band
Thank you TuneIN, this kind of music is why I haven't given up on radios 🇧🇷🇨🇦
This old school rock band should be blowing up the internet. Wtf
Love this band! Saw them in Halifax in September, and they rocked the joint. I'd wanted to see them live for years, and brother, they were well worth waiting for.
This video is hilarious, too -- I've witnessed gigs like this, including the damn chickenwire. When you walk into a bar to set up your gear and see chickenwire, you know you're in for a rough gig...
great album
From one of the best Canadian albums ever made.
Glad to see this band ain't afraid of guitar solos!
this song gives me one of them Large Times
I'm from Brazil! I love you guys
