Random thought: I love this song and I was just wondering, is the guy standing on the plywood about to metaphorically burn himself as some kind of immolation (to become a star)? He keeps talking about how “a star burns best” and “How hard can it be…?” He also says “Big screen turns me on, I'm gonna be your western star” which could be him saying he wants to look like heroes period Bowie and be movie-star famous. Ha! I have too much time on my hands…. 🤣 This should have been called Frank Black Francis Bacon’s Occidental Star!
