    I'm black, but grew up in a mostly white and asian area and until I was in middle school, the only other black kids I knew were upper middle class suburban yuppies.
    I can tell you that I would've assumed those guys were at fault too based on my own experience with inner city blacks. As much as lefties like to rag on stereotypes, you have to admit that they exist for a very good reason. Because enough people can independently corroborate them to give them staying power.
    The trend of blacks getting belligerent and claiming victimhood post-hoc is something that I myself have seen time and time again, both over the media and in my own personal life. Me being black didn't save me from being used to that end. Inner city blacks resent suburban/middle to upper middle class blacks for not being hood (politically black). And this perfectly fits the MO.
    In my opinion, especially given how egregious the black victimhood narrative has been taken, none of these claims of """ innocent""" blacks falling victim to """ white supremacy""" should be believed without stronf evidence (and coincidentally, none have such evidence barring a few isolated incidents). But if you want to make the general public legitimately start to hate black people, this is how you do it. Spread BS claims of victimhood while completely ignoring, obfuscating, or excusing the victims of other races who fall prey to the black community's outright refusal to address it's massive thug problem. And this is on the black community to fix. They let it fester and they take countless government dollars ostensibly for the purpose of mitigating this issue.
    And before some moron calls mr a racist or a coon, Uncle Tom, or whatever else, I do not give a solitary fuck about your empty accusation. You want this shit to stop? You want to actually cut down racism? Stop enabling amd excusing black criminality. Even most black people are aware that it's a problem, but """ black pride""" and """ racial solidarity""" is the unspoken rule we use to shame each other out of publicly acknowledging it. I refuse to take pride in or share solidarity with a community that has so utterly failed itself, it's members, and the American public at large. Pride is the last thing black people as a class need. We need humility. We need integrity. We need respect, both for ourselves and others. And absolutely nobody in the mainstream seems to want to promote these values in the black community, well nobody except a small class of black intellectuals like Thomas Sowell.
    Any conversation about race in the US that doesn't involve blacks as a whole getting theor shit together is completely off the mark. Any proposed solution that doesn't include instilling the discipline to prevent this cultural bile from reforming will be a waste of timr and money.

    • @latte3314
      @latte3314 Рік тому +11

      Yeah, but people outside of the race lens can't contribute to fixing the problem from that axis. All the average liberal can do is push a pro-individualistic idea of thought to address the issue, and both the left and the right are currently outright rejecting or beginning to reject the individualist lens, or worse, accepting the individualist lens only when it benefits the optics of their political movement.

    • @SkylineFTW97
      @SkylineFTW97 Рік тому +57

      @@latte3314 It doesn't matter how outsiders see it became most blacks see it from a race lens. This is why blacks and only blacks can fix this, because it's an intra-racial dispute that needs to be had. Any outsiders suggesting it will be immediately written off. Hell, even other blacks will be. I'm far from the first black guy to break rank and say this publicly. The likes of Thomas So well and Walter Williams brought the idea to modern audiences, and men like Booker T. Washington expressed such sentiments before them. All have been largely shunned for their trouble.

    • @GeneralProfessor
      @GeneralProfessor Рік тому +29

      @@SkylineFTW97 A well meaning person at some point has to accept that one cannot help those who refuse to be helped. Especially when the reason for their refusal is pride because an overabundance of pride arguably makes them undeserving of help to begin with. Personally I think that one should attempt to help anyone they can, but when the attempts keep failing due to unreceptiveness they go from being good to being naive, until they eventually become either pointless stubbornness or plain stupidity.

    • @SkylineFTW97
      @SkylineFTW97 Рік тому +33

      @@GeneralProfessor This is my view of the black community at large. There will be a small few like myself who simply abandon the broader community due to it's dysfunction, but those people will likely seek out truth on their own anyway. That being said, I have planted ideas in a few people's heads that I think will set them on a better path.
      And you're 100% correct on pride. It's one of the 7 deadly sins for a reason. And black pride is one of the best examples as to why.

      That story is crazy. The guy Christian Cooper, who's a big man, threatened to hurt her and/or her dog, so of course she got upset. Only a psycho tempts a stranger's dog to come to him with a treat, without the owner's permission, especially after telling her he was going to do something she wasn't going to like; she could have thought he was trying to poison the dog, or was planning to hit it with the bike helmet he was carrying, or kick or otherwise hurt it. All of those things have happened; some people have a psychotic hatred of even the nicest and most harmless dogs. Here in Vancouver a few years ago there was some nutcase (a woman) going around randomly kicking people's small dogs. Cooper had had similar run-ins with other dog owners there in the past; he hates dogs because he thinks they scare the birds away (like people don't!) Loser's got his own birdwatching TV show now.

Maybe the fifth teen - the one she got into the altercation with - had gone to take a p*ss; who knows. If she used an app it would have told her before she got there that all five of those e-bikes were docked and thus available to rent. So she took the only one that wasn't being sat on, then he got back and confronted her. I doubt she'd had any conversation with any of them before that and the teen and his sister are lying about it, not realizing (because I don't think either of them are very bright) that ultimately it just makes the teens look like rude inconsiderate jerks for refusing to "let" a pregnant woman have one of "their" e-bikes.

The career obviously attracts sociopaths instead of compassionate people who'll deal with the crap (again, sometimes literally) because the feeling of helping people, because it gives them the ability to leave a long shift and try to rob a group of young men while being alone because of "nurse cred" or something. Again, like the Bud Light/Mulvaney story, being "late to the party" inherently leaves holes in the coverage. For instance, the sources of this video Tariq Nasheed and John Iadarola/Emma Vigeland are two that survived the *defamation protection purge* :
      Nasheed was able to keep his tweet up because he worded it in a way which shields him from defaming her. On the other hand, Omnipresent Attorney Ben Crump, the civil rights attorney that was involved in many of the national race incident stories, _did_ have a tweet with defamatory language that he was likely advised to delete (something easy to overlook when late to the party).
      Meanwhile, the Iadarola/Vigeland video is the only to survive the purge (maybe because Vigeland is no longer with TYT) while the other TYT videos on the subject have since been retracted. Most notably Rashad Richie's. His language appeared to be the most defamatory and was likely advised to take down his original video and issue an "apology" video. None of that was even mentioned in your video (again, something easy to miss when late to the party and the tracks are already covered).
      The story here is not the incident itself, rather it _is_ the meta-story. The story is about how many outlets jumped to conclusions, many appearing to defame the woman quite harshly. Her lawyer, Justin Marino, said he and his client will be coming after the media for defamation and wish no ill will on the youths. The story here is how race-brained the media is and how it destroys our discourse. The incident itself is hardly important.

    About 90 years ago another country also excused any mistreatment of people of a certain race as "repayment" and "reeducation" for all their ancestors crimes.
    They also had copious propaganda alleging conspiracy and genetic inferiority, mostly as popular "scientific" books.

    I saw a few takes about this video and it just seems dumb. The video objectively shows a woman being harassed (physically and verbally) by other people that are trying to steal the bike that she's currently in the process of riding. Looks pretty straightforward to me. People nowadays have this weird tendency to film themselves being shitty to others, I don't get it.
    And then the extra info shows that not only is she the correct one in this situation, the guys were interfering with Citi Bike's business, so that company needs to just ban all these guys at minimum.
    ....also Vaush thinks women can't be cops, based?

    In the most recent video from the sister, she actually says "if Sarah had been polite and just asked nicely instead of yelling for help, her brother would have let her have the bike."
    That's the proof that she did not ask them multiple times to ride the bike and they weren't within rea hours of the bike when Sarah scanned it and got on.
    The sister is lying because she can't be held responsible. She wasn't there, so she can't be a witness or questioned directly.

      That totally contradicts what she said in the first video, in which she said Sarah did ask them politely if she could "have" one of the bikes they were hoarding (never mind that they weren't their bikes to give). Further confirms for me that these siblings are not the brightest bulbs.

    I did assume the woman was innocent; there's enough signs to make me 99% confident in that conclusion.
    For example, it's a rent-a-bike scheme, and she was literally sitting on the bike.
    Unless you're looking to start trouble and drama, why would you check out a bike someone else is sitting on?
