Hi Steve, ive got a similar Boss like that but mine has two holes and each has a Slotted Spring Pin that actives the indicator return mechanism. Cheers from Germany Jan

When I first got my mk3 mini years ago( which I still have) . First time I bought bits was from the Harrogate branch of mini spares, the chap that served me was very uninterested, said he was bored of minis, very unhelpful and as a result has have lost a few grand of sales by me. Mini sport for me.

You need to put rear shock absorbers with a max of 360mm in detente otherwise you will find that the cones/ hi lo will come lose. Unfortunately the Spax lowered are still too long.

We're not going to run it that low, as we don't plan to tub the rear arches.

Excellent.....
Having been there and done it..... please don't hold back on telling us, and minispares what doesn't fit....
Daft things like the clevis pin for handbrake cables, the holes in the cable were the wrong size ... rear bias valve leaked as soon as it had fluid in it.... poor quality, the big copper washer had a scratch right across it......

I have new heritage subframes and was going to scuff the E-coat and paint them. Do you guys feel the E-coat is not adhered well enough?

Ours wasn't coated all that well, with a few gaps, plus we planned to blast and paint the original rear frame, so it was convenient to do them both at the same time.

Do you know the piston bore size of that brake master cylinder?

0.7" according to the Mini Spares specs.
