what amazes about Hayden, is not only did he write so many string quartets, but they all are of such high quality...a delight to listen too...thanks for the upload...
The consistent inspirational level and high quality of the 68 (sic) string quartets of Joseph Haydn written over a period of nearly half a century make them one of the absolute pinnacles of western classical music. PS: Hayden is a boys’ name you find sometimes across all the English-speaking world; Haydn is the name of a famous composer.
With op; 33, Haydn told that he wanted to write "something new". It is quite exciting to search for progresses between these quartets and - say, those of op. 20. We Will realize that these SQs can indeed be considered as the fathers of classical SQs. They inspired the six SQ of Mozart dedicated to Haydn.❤❤❤
@@pepehaydn7039 You must explain to us why you believe Opus 50 to be *’the* great step forward’. (Like most observers, I would argue Opus 20 or Opus 33, probably the former).

What an almost atonal appoggiatura in Op. 33 No. 1 (00:41:38)

Op 50 is for me the great step forward by Haydn. Mozart never reached it...

Listening to Haydn here rather than having anything to do with Netflix
There are two humanities: the one who listen to Haydn and the second who watchs Netflix.
