In this video, we show how to remove the stock vent and replace it with a P3 integrated multi-gauge. We cover the process for both the standalone LCD unit and the complete replacement OEM vent, which comes with the P3 gauge pre-installed.

Can it display km/h instead of mph? And does it fit on an S5 (B9)? The interior is very similar, so I'm guessing it does. Very interesting product!

So for $400 I lose a vent AND all you’re doing is using obd II info to report on the gauge by plugging into the port. So.....why exactly is the $400-600?
Nandor The vent looks functionnal. There are still two slots for air to go through, one on top of the gauge and one under it, if my eyes see it clearly.
The $600 piece includes a vent so you don’t destroy your OEM one.
By looking into this installation I just can see how it gonna rattle as soon as exposed to some temperatures
I'd rather have a vent replacement that comes with an extra fan to boost air for those hotter/colder days in Toronto.
I have the installation on the b8 a4 a5 etc in case needed

Does this piece of equipment fir on the 2013 B8 S4? Or do you get this for a B8? What's the difference between this side of the dashboard on a B8 and a B9 anyway?

Did you use the analog boost sensor?
So you could buy a bluetooth obd dongle a 200 usd nice smartphone with android and do thesame without any modification and have the phone placed anywhere in the car , not to mention you would have multiple data fields displaying... NOT TO MENTION YOU COULD USE IT IN ANY CAR! This gizmo would only be a viable alternative if it costs 50 bucks or less - whoever thought you would pay 400 usd for this didnt make any market research ...
May I ask does this occupy our car's OBD plug all the time to have the info on that small screen? Or we just have another wire or somehow to connect our car's OBD plug??? If I am using 5053 to do something do I need to plug off the P3?
prosche4072008 I installed one on my TTRS and I just keep it plugged into the obd port but it can be hardwired if need be

The wheels are Rohana RFX7. Here's a link: goo.gl/tVD1db Ours are 20"x10" ET33 with 255-30-20 Sumitumo HTR Z III. It's an aggressive setup and we recommend rolling fenders. They are offered in multiple sizes if you want a different fitment.
ECS Tuning thank you for the details. If I wanted to be less aggressive so I could avoid rolling fenders would I do 20"x9" with 33mm offset like it's sold from your website? Would the 20" rub or should I go with a 19" rim to avoid rubbing. Whatever I do I wanna get rid of these stock rims lol
We haven't put the 20x9" ET33 on our B9 to test, but we were rubbing due to width. A 9" wide wheel should be better than the 10" as far as rubbing is concerned. Also keep in mind our car is very low on H&R Coilovers.

Yes all gauge models include the ability to switch between BAR and PSI.

It's cool but nearly $700 for the version with the vent? No thanks. For that price it should have bluetooth instead of wires to the OBD and better graphics on the display.

This seems like a waste of money considering the virtual cockpit shows you boost etc...lul
Not all B9 chassis cars have the virtual cockpit. Additionally, P3 Gauges include features not found in the virtual cockpit.
A4 does not show boost, perhaps S4 does.

@@oliverwhittington4887 yes you have boost on a b9 s4. It is on the lap timer screen on the non-virtual cockpit p/p+.
