I installed one of these two year ago on my 2013 S4... Could have saved a lot of time if I knew about that trick to get the fuses out of the way!! BTW... If you don't want to fiddle with the vent slats, P3Cars sells this unit already pre-installed in the vent for like $200 more. Can't wait to see what your stock 0-60 time is!! I got my P3 to read 3.5 sec. after upgrading to a tune and dual supercharger pulleys!

A really useful gauge for the S4 would be an oil temperature gauge. I am left guessing how hot the engine is running. It was on some of my prior Audi models.
Just code a lape Timer ... so u have your Oiltemp. for free. U can do it with VCDS
Smart idea to check it works before install! I used some Tesa tape to hold the wire down on the inside of the vent. Electrical tape would also probably do the job.

Why not use the analogue option for the boost reading? OBD boost reading is inaccurate (only requested boost, not actual).
How accurate is the boost reading??
Do I have to code a new alcantara steering wheel if it comes from poland? Could you guys do a video on it? I kno my friends BMW has an airbag light now and he doesnt know how to code it.

Maybe that's because this is a video showing how to INSTALL the boost gage, then he immediately mentions that they'll be making another video going over the setup and operation of the boost gage.
These videos may not be jump cut to hell with over the top personalities and tons of useless dialog, but they are clearly laid out, well lit with great camera angles, professionally skripted and edited, and very thoroughly explained.
Sure, I guess he could've started the car and shown flashing numbers, but how would that have given you any more information than you already had!?!
You already saw him power it before installing, random numbers showing up wouldn't have informed you any more about installing it, and he literally said that they would be covering the gage in another video!
These guys put out some of the best auto install videos I've ever come across and should be getting tons of credit for the effort they put into showing people how to install stuff they don't even necessarily sell. They are literally showing their customers how to do work that they could be getting paid to do! All while spending a lot of time they could be earning, putting together these great videos.

You make great videos, but I'm really disappointed in this one. It would have been really nice to see the gauge and the vent fins put back together before you go back to the car. Also... at least turn it on after you installed it!!! I know you did another video, but that's a pretty bad tease dude.

Never ever do such a things, soooo dangerous, people installing carplays, screens, wireless charges, screens. It may cause chassis proplem and end your battery, after 2 year, you may have to spent thousands dollars to restore electric systems.
