How awesome to have bite so close to put in! And a late bite to boot. Fished for WSB a lot in SoCal and fishing always seems best in low light. Let’s hope these fish return in years to come when they’ll be huge!
Bro what are you doing lol. Landing them by the gill plate and just launching them back in the water. WSB are incredibly fragile and can die from a terrible release
Nah he had the fish out of the water for less than 10 seconds each and didn’t spend any extra time trying to take pictures or pose with the fish. Not sure what else u want from people but that’s about as good of a release as it gets lmao
both you and Adam landed a ghost bass , sheesh , I bet it was awesome , good for you bro..... hell yeah... great content too , that camera angle though crazy , on my big screen , bro it's killer.... thanks
Yo NOT COOL cutting the fish w ur ✂️ or even ripping the hook from the other one. Just bcuz ur not taking it home or bcuz u don’t want to touch it.🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ not cool bro frfr. Be good to them they will b good to u. I don’t think F&G would like this vid....
Hi: I miss your videos!! College, out of the area, doing other activities??? Still follow your buddy "Chronicles" Elon lots. You had/have left with a super wealth of knowledge on fishing (and catching) in the Santa Cruz Area.
Great vid man, I still need to hook my first sea bass . Just caught a 20lb 37in halibut off the Santa Cruz skiffs September 18 drifting squid . Tight lines , waiting on a hali video from you lol! P.s have you heard of the decent blue fin bite? 🤯
Those spots are not a secret. The outdoor writer for San Francisco cronicles has written books on fishing california water and how to fish them. Also thank western outdoors for the samething. Commercial and sport fisherman need to stop claiming these spots as their own and just fish!!
Stop selling out the secret holes in you’re hometown , I’ve been catching those in that hole since you were in diapers kid . That was definitely not a few weeks ago but nice try.
The Western outdoor news has shared fishing info including this area for 68 years. Yak anglers have fished this area for ages as well so why is it now a problem?
Funny thing about a secret... is that its not a secret if he knows about it. Since he was in diapers? Good thing you've had enough time to find more holes. Fucking baby. Comments like yours and those two "Commercial Fisherman" are the only reason im searching for this spot. And with all the clues the "Commercial Fisherman" gave in their argument. Im pretty sure I found it and will be recording there soon. Cool thing about respect is, if you give it, you get it. Therefore I have no "respect" for your spot.
Santa Cruz folk are the most territorial people I’ve come across in the fishing/surfing community round the world. Takes some getting used to when you move there but there’s also helpful folk there
thanks a lot for helping me fish for halibut. I hope some new videos are coming soon!
Best bite I've ever seen in our area! You guys are the real life "Ghost Busters!" Awesome video Everett! 🤙🏽🎣

Ayeee congrats!!! What an exciting day!

Good shit bro
*Are you fully retired from fishing ?*

Where you been bro

A single inline hook would be helpful for this issue
Seriously bro what the actual fuck this kid is such a kook 🤦🏻♂️
Would love to see more surf videos !
you probably won't get this, it's been 10 months since you posted. Miss your videos, hope all is well with you.
When are the best months to fish for stripers and perch?
Looks like good fun thanks

Coming up from texas for work in Santa Cruz. Got any good surf fishing beaches or piers out there?
FYI...wsb do not release well. It is not a good idea to catch and release them. Most of the fish you released probably died.
. Congratulation on the limit of WSB. Was thinking the Mackerel on a reverse dropper loop rig might be the right bait for your #50lber.
I have seen white sea bass as big as 60lb in monterey bay when the squid boats as catch ing squid.
Talk about action 👍
I know where the dislike came from.. scared to grab a fish!..
Yah, that sucked. Dude needs some mouth grippers. Behind the gill plate is a bad habit, can cause damage too.
Love your videos! Did you have a landing net with you? Just a reminder that it is required by the fishing policy in California.
Nice catch did you launch off shore
But good bite
Epic!
#1 you can't target the same species after you limit.
#2 if you gave that one to your friend, you personally would be over limit.
And still the best💪
wow, that's pretty heavy how obvious your spots are and absolutely no attempt to hide it. Really sucks for people who already knew about it.
Hah This was months ago
The point is that not everyone knows exactly where or how to get them. Regardless of time. But way worth a few youtube likes.
Regardless tho... a lot don't go out right now

F out of here with that, greedy fisherman suck, its a wide open ocean not a little pond smh

Need to work on your fish handling and release... ripping hooks out of their mouth is so unnecessary
