New subbie and I love the basics of budgeting. It's always nice seeing how others explain it! Thanks for sharing this video! Looking forward to follow your journey! 😊
Great video! Unfortunately still trying to figure out my finances when my expenses are more than my income. 😩 One of these days, I’ll right the ship! 💚
Hey we are all falling on hard times. I lived off minimum wage for over a decade with two kids and my ex was too busy playing video games to work. Do what you can with what you’ve got. Reconfigure and be grateful to have a roof. This is a great community here we will all circle around you on the right foot.
Try to get some assistance if you can. I recommend United Way (2-1-1) to a lot of people in the US. They can usually help you find resources in your area, whether it's clothes, food, utility, hygiene, etc help. Sometimes just getting a little help with these can give you a little more money to pay for something you wouldn't have been able to. Hope this helps!
Okay okay I think I finally found the channel for me. I've watched (sometimes just listening) and haven't seen you write until this one but for some reason intuitively knew you were a lefty like me. Only thing I needed to do is tweek for my specific income which is monthly. Shouldn't be that hard I hope. I too am in Illinois. Midwest Illinois. Hi neighbor! Nice to meet you. Merry Christmas and happy New year!! You mean Expenses (obligations) and you only pay the minimum on your debt? Is that considered cash. Should I do insurance before I do tv services?
@@writethevisionplan Sorry to hear about your job loss. Hopefully you have found a new job. Maybe you can share information with others who are unemployed.
Hello there, The gas says $195 buffer $25 water $75 but I noticed instead of $295 it says $100 I didn’t understand that part. Also do you include things like nails in your budget? Your nails look lovely btw.
Hey sweetie I do include things like nails in my budget but I do that in my paycheck budget because I don’t know where that extra money is coming from so savings personal spending cash envelope sinking funds all of that is done in my paycheck breakdown once I see how much money is left over for that specific income
I’m getting ready to do my first budget tomorrow! I’m planning to keep money in the bank to cover my mortgage, gas, and anything that’s paid online or by automatic withdrawals. I’ll take money out of the bank for eating out and the sinking funds. So, that’s my plan…I’m interested to see if it works out! 😁. Good luck to you!
I am having trouble with a budget. Husband gets paid weekly and I get Paid 15th and 30 of a month. I just got guardianship of our granddaughter and I need to get on track so we can give her the BEST life ever. Our income is different from summer to winter cause hubby is a dump truck drive and winters might be slow. total income is $5266.00 Please help
My husband has the same type of work and issue. I take his yearly after tax income and divide it by 12 months. That’s the monthly amount I budget for his paycheck. I save any amount over that in a savings account for the slower season. It works for us. I do a 4 week budget - divide our bills in 4 weeks. One for each of our paychecks.
So no personal expenses? Nails hair lashes dining out phone bill? Entertainment? Daughter? Would you then take that out of the $862 remaining? And why not include that into the budget?
Hey hey beautiful! My cash envelopes are for my personal spending:eating out groceries fun money for myself & daughter. I will withdraw the remaining funds to cash stuff my cash envelopes & sinking funds for savings.
I’m 27 and starting to learn how to budget. Very excited to see how these next few months go. Thank you for the video!

How does one have a mortgage and still receive government assistance?
Because when I was approved for my job I had a higher paying job. Then I became unemployed and qualified for assistance
@@writethevisionplan Sorry to hear about your job loss. Hopefully you have found a new job. Maybe you can share information with others who are unemployed.
Great job. What about misc items for the house? What about savings?
That’s when I do my paycheck breakdown to see what’s left over

Thanks, I liked your video.
