Uhhh yeah at 4:49 the "seal protector" that is discarded to the side.. that is a wear sleeve that goes on the axle it needs to be replaced as well otherwise your wasting your time.. New seal is gonna leak right from the start
After discarding the "protector" piece, is it leaking any or not without it? I can't get that piece into the axel and without it the seal is very tight.

Nope hasn’t leaked yet that’s how it is shown on the Deere parts diagram.

I added a breather to my front axle and it virtually stopped my blown seals.
I’ve heard that fixes it might end up doing that.
Where did you find a breather? Or did you fab something yourself?
